Wonderful and kind service. The food was delicious and served rapidly. Our waitress was very helpful with the recomendations. The ambient was lovely.
Overall the service was very poor, supposed to be bottomless food and drink and didn’t get out first plate of food for an hour. Constantly having to ask for more drinks as no one was around. The food was lovely when it finally came but we won’t be going back.
Awesome experience. Service was great!
All in all very good. We had a special January menu that really worked - the highlight was the steak and accompaniments for the 4th course.
Food was creative but far from delicious...trying to fuse too much!
Service - aloof rather than friendly both on entering restaurant and when ordering
Had breakfast on Friday 25 Jan. Slow service, food lukewarm, full english had avacado on it (?) but no beans. Disappointing.
Overall comments . Great service but food was extremely disappointing and terrible value for money . Will not be going again .
We arrived at reception and were not greeted at all . When we were finally noticed we were dealt with in a very offhand manner .
We ate in the Grill which was nicely laid out and great service . We ordered a sashimi dish to start which was so chewy it was inedible and sent back . Main course was a CHATEAUBRIAND with a huge price tag of £95 for 500 g only ! Meat was average and a bit chewy in places . Side order of chips and mushrooms was tiny . We did have a nice bottle of wine which helped to drive the bill to £280 for two . However having expected a special evening we were left unfulfilled . The experience simply does not match the price .
Great time there, very quiet area ideal for business meetings
Great restaurant, the steaks and sides best I have ever had. if your into your different cuts of meat this is the place to go. Waiter showed us the different steaks advise on favour and texture. We will be back!!
Great service! Staff were friendly and attentive. Would the reccomend the brunch but portion sizes were not very big. Would recommend!
Thoroughly enjoyable breakfast for two. I booked this restaurant at the last minute and what a great surprise. Staff very attentive and fast service. My colleague and I went for the M breakfast, what is a full English, and they were cooked to perfection. The sausage were delicious as well as the poached egg. One of the best breakfast I had in London.
Great place in Victoria. I really enjoyed with my family. The staff very attentive . The food really delicious. The steaks were cooked on point, the fries were yummy, cocktails delicious. We will be back.
This place never let me down. Every time that I visit this restaurant they make me feel like at home. Mavi the receptionist is lovely, and the rest of the staff very professional. I really enjoyed my time here. Ill be back soon.
Attentive, friendly and professional service, great food although salmon portion was tiny! Limited wine list. Nice decor in dining room but other dining area on the way lacks ambience.
The food was well done and the service fantastic. Cocktails were also excellent. The venue is a bit swank and we arrived somewhat casually dressed, but it was not an issue.
I booked a table for a breakfast meeting with colleagues following a colleagues recommendation. Even though our table was booked for 8.45am the service was pretty slow, no one to greet us on arrival.
I even had to look for someone to request the bill.
The food was good but the service tainted the overall experience.
The meat feast was too much even for 2 hungry people - tasty enougjh but not worth the money! The advised bottle of wine was ok but very poor value for money! Disappointing on this occasion
Went to celebrate my Sister's birthday pre theatre!
The staff were brilliant and really looked after us, great atmosphere and the food was delicious, beautifully prepared and full of flavour.
Had heard good things about M in the city so had hoped this one would be as good. The actual restaurant is beautiful and obviously fairly new. Was surprised to see several dogs inside which was a tad off putting for such a nice surroundings, but didn't have an impact on the overall experience.
I was there with some visiting friends for brunch and although the drinks were nice, the service was good and friendly, the food was a real disappointment. For us, it's not all about the drinks and food should be equally as good, if not the standout!
Would not recommend and definitely not value for money.
Very disappointing - we have booked seats in the raw bar but when we arrived we were seated in the more formal grill restaurant (which wasn’t really what we wanted) when we asked about our reservation we were advised that the raw bar was closed for a private party - had we known this wouldn’t have visited.
Food was average & disappointing for the price of it. We paid over £200 for starters & mains, although 50% of that was on the wine (again extremely expensive) my partner had a steak and when it arrive it was just a lump of meat on a plate that was rolling around - the sauces were also cold.
They did give a free dessert as it was my partners birthday...
I would recommend heading to somewhere like Veganand down the road, better service, better price & more quality food!
Really enjoyed eating here. From the starters, the wagyu tartare and the tuna and watermelon were my favourite dishes. The chateaubriand was also very good. I didn't enjoy the steak sauces - firecracker or garlic aioli. They were okay sauces, but didn't pair well with the steak - wish I'd gone for the beef dripping jus. It would have been nice to have an option for bearnaise on the menu. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. It was a great place to have a catch-up. One of our group was also particularly enamoured with the japanese toilet in their bathrooms.
Pre-theatre dinner for friends birthday
Was going to see Hamilton so it was a special evening
Food was awful we ate from pre theatre menu and as it tasted bad
As it was a birthday and special occasion I didn’t want to put a downer on the night
But the bill came to £115 for 2 and we had one alcoholic drink each - total rip off as food so bad
Will definitely not be recommending the restaurant to friends or will be returning
A disappointed customer
I had high hopes, it wasn't bad in any way, but when you are paying a certain price you expect something above the average and it wasn't. The service was attentive and lots of smiles, but they forgot a few things that we ordered.
Lovely bottomless brunch, nice decor would recommend
Good Restaurant! Service was impeccable. Food was pretty average and portion sizes small. Outdoor seating good for people watching. Would recommend.
thought it was expensive. would have been nice to have smoothie options for breakfast. Thought the bread was very average. the breakfast I did have - eggs, kale and avo was delicious. Would say it was a very formal venue.
The food was absolutely delicious and the wine list is extensive (and expensive), but was really let down by the service. Wrong menus, didn’t tell us that they’d run out of something and they just substituted it with something else in my order without telling me, we weren’t offered bread but they put it on our bill, waiters were never around when we wanted them to be and the waiter bumped into us and nearly spilled our wine everywhere. Waiters were unapologetic. Sadly probably won’t go back, at least not for anything more than a drink and a bite.
Came here for an early evening dinner- was highly impressed with the restaurant, food and drink were incredible, both of us has the wagyu steak, the staff were knowledgable and very friendly, making recommendations for accompaniments for the main course.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal.
I love Mrestaurant in Victoria. Staff is friendly and always able to accommodate my requests. I have few allergies but for them is never a problem. Selection of wine is incredible and ambience is perfect for a date night.
Great service, mid week business lunch. Food was great, good wine list, nice setting although you are in a basement so would steer clear on a sunny day.
Amazing place with divine food and lovely team. I am amazed by the quality of the food. Higly recomend this restaurant to everyone. Friendly place where to enjoy the best meat in London. We will be coming back soon. Thank you team for your amability and nice manners .
Fantastic restaurant with a lot of healthy option. Food was delicious and with a lot of choices of wines. Friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely worth it. Absolutely loved the experience.
Lovely food and great staff. It was a very good dining experience.
I would definitely recommend it for business meetings or special occasions.
Amazing brunch ever!! The staff was lovely and precise.
Food was amazing. I’ll be back very soon. Thanks
An odd dining subterranean dining room with little ambience but surprisingly good food. Beautiful beef especially the tartare. Very attentive service. Overall a much better experience than the rather corporate exterior suggests.
Food was a bit slow, but very tasty. Monday corkage deal with a great selection from upstairs worked well.
Nice restaurant and seating area. We went for the lunch menu, starters were excellent however the main course left a lot of room for improvement! The risotto meat was gristle and fat and the bottom of the plate was full of oil making the rice greasy!! When pointed out the only response was I will pass it on to the chef.
Wine prices are on the extreme price range!
Went to M the day after bank holiday for a business breakfast. We were sat down and left for 10 minutes before being told the coffee machine was broken and half the breakfast menu was not available. As the host of the meeting this was embarrassing and not sure why were were not told this at the door. Have been to M before for both breakfast and dinner and its usually good but will probably not go back now.
High quality food and a really attentive server. Our food came out with some issues and they were more than happy to rectify the mistake and very apologetic. I had a 50% of voucher which was great otherwise it would have been very out of budget for a Tuesday night.
Lovely pre theatre dinner (not the preset menu) lovely friendly service and lovely surroundings
