Beautiful venue! But… Did the bottomless brunch deal and the drinks were hit and miss - espresso martini was insanely strong almost undrinkable. Food was ok - fritters were missing the jam and not enough avocado, shakshuka was underwhelming and the desserts were stodgy, dry and bland which was a shame.. don’t think I’d go back as there are much better bottomless brunch deals to be had. Felt very much under the allotted time pressure of 1.5 hours - waitress kept mentioning it - which was also a bit irritating. Stunning place though and lovely saxophonist adding to the atmosphere..
This place is amazing not only was it dog friendly, but even if you didn't have a dog this restaurant would be an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy lovely food with a loved one or your family.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and very well presented. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is great. I have visited their Victoria restaurant before, but the Threadneedle Street one is just as good, if not a tad better.
The service was excellent, everyone we spoke to was extremely attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the burrata, the rump steak (which was the most flavoursome rump I've had) and snickers for dessert. All were delicious.
From the moment we walked in the service was just amazing. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and very good at what they do. The food was unbelievable ....we tried the steak roulette...what a great idea - you spin it at your table.
Our waiter was amazing, really helped to add the experience....the whole evening was superb. Great food, great service and fantastic wine......you can't beat that.
Been here a number of times when in London, always a great meal with excellent service. I felt compelled to to write a review this time as the meal was one of the best I have ever had.
Lovely place for a celebration/birthday meal. I really enjoyed the vegetarian options and my partner absolutely loved her steak! Nice ambience and good wine too. Service was absolutely amazing! Would definitely come back again for a special occasion.
The food here is amazing. I would highly recommend getting the beef sharing platter so you can try it out. The steak here no matter the cut was just soo tender. The chef's here really know how to do the best steak.
It was amazing, thanks for the experience. Will definitely come back!
Beautifully cooked meal and excellent service. Will definitely return
Great experience. Loved it. The meat was exceptional.
The food was unfortunately very tasteless and the alcohol options were limited and also very expensive
Starters were comically bad, ordered sashimi which was basically a couple of tiny pieces of fish which had absolutely no flavour. The tomato starter was just that chopped up tomatoes, that’s it. That’s what you get for over £6.
Steaks were great though, as always. Just stay away from the starters and you’re good
Food was excellent and Claudio’s service was impeccable!
Superb evening of fine food, exemplary service and great atmosphere. New favourite steak restaurant!
My friend and I decided to share pretty much all of the starters on the menu and they were outstanding without exception. The wagyu tartare will live long in the memory - can't wait to go back!
Amazing restaurant, steak cooked to perfection. You pay for what you get here and it truly is a great meal. Would highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance to visit M restaurant.
M Threadneedle is always a pleasure to dine at. The staff recognise you from previous occasions and are super attentive. Sometimes the bar is a bit slow but all good. Steaks are always spot on
Service was shocking. Had to constantly get attention of waiter for drinks etc. Waited over an hour for our food
The service was not up to M's usual standards. Drinks were slow to arrive and we had to remind staff that we were waiting a couple of times.
We did get an apology from management even though we didn't complain; they explained that it had been an unusually busy day as they had a few large groups in.
I will return to M and I hope for a return to their usual standard on my next visit.
We had the three course lunch menu, I was not offered the menu for it, had to ask. The food was very good, starters excellent but the steak was put on the plate with nothing else, not even a bit of greenery! The fish was very good and also the desserts. The service was excellent, drinks were expensive but you expect that in a restaurant like this.
Slow service and too noisy to have a proper conversation
Lovely restaurant, service was brilliant food was amazing. Would definitely recommend and go again.
Nice food, friendly staff
Really good food but poor service, we waited for over an hour for our food.
The food was lovely and good value for money however in regards to drinks, we really had to keep asking for more and they took quite a while to come out meaning the bottomless side of the brunch wasn’t that good value for money.
We visited M and had a very good team lunch. The food, service and the ambience were good but the dining room was a little noisy.
we order some seafood as starter and steak for the main course. I think the starters were okay .. the steaks , the fillet was good, but the ribeye was not a good quality as we expected, hard to cut it. We order drinks but came late, they didn't charge us which i think it is generous. Desserts were good but we need to wait for 20 mins, would be good to let us know before we ordered
Excellent food and v friendly service
Went to M for a business lunch. There was so much noise, could hardly hear anything being said. Took ages to get service and had to ask in the end. One of us ordered steak and then had to ask for the waiter to not rush off as he hadn't asked how steak should be cooked. Only one portion of monk fish left to order sadly and when it arrived, it was barely warm. Portion size of vegetables small. The food tasted good and the cheesecake was delicious. Overall, disappointed, poor service.
Fabulous for a business lunch. Great atmosphere and wonderful food.
Its nice restaurant but you need to find it hard to locate, the decor is nice but I find that the table next to us was very loud and drunk and this was at 6.30pm and expletive to say the least, so not give us a good ambience, I would have thought that the staff should have quieten them down a lot.
The menu is simple based on steaks but its was tough so for the price you are paying at least I like a bit of tenderness in the meat, also the broccoli side order was not really cooked, I should have sent it back and believe me I am use to eating not overcook veg, a bit disappointing and the bill was large
Beautiful restaurant, let down by poor food (steak) and not the best service. To start took 5 minutes to get in as only one person seeing to people and taking to their tables. The steak was poor, in that wet and no flavour and had to ask 3 times for the sauces for the steaks which were very poor. This is a restaurant trying to attract younger people (Saturday) but not concentrating on the food! Our waitress was good and tried hard. Have been to M at Victoria at least 3 times before; would not go back to Threadneedle street again.
Music and ambiance was great. Not to busy, food and cocktails were good.
The food was cold and the service was poor as the restaurant was very busy.
second visit and this time food was average and service too quick - felt like we were being rushed out.
Very tasty food with good choices on the menu and an extensive wine list. Excellent service and a good bubbly lunchtime atmosphere
Booked for a business dinner - service was quite slow and inaccurate. We ran out of water several times, they completely ignored a separate drink order and then told the guest to partake in the bottle of wine instead. The oxtail ravioli was disappointing - the dough was thick and not soft, almost as if it was not cooked through. As such, it was a bit tasteless.
The steaks were OK but not something I would come back for
Just lovely, from the moment we arrived.
The steaks were delicious and so was the wine, service was impeccable and a lovely touch for dessert with a ‘happy birthday’ plate to go with it. Thank you to the wonderful waitresses.
A great restaurant with great atmosphere, wonderfull terrace and steaks with excellent wine 🍷 list. The staff was also very kind and friendly. We had a wonderful dinner.
