Macellaio RC is a growing family of three Italian restaurants in London.
Our restaurants are most famous for its fine steak. In fact, Macellaio means "butcher" and we like to call our steakhouses the butchery with tables. The steak we serve is exclusively from the Fassona beef breed, sourced from special mountain valleys in the north of Genoa.
We take pride in sourcing incredible authentic Italian ingredients, food with utmost respect, preparing it with love, and expertly cooking each dish bringing to life a delightful trattoria dining experience.

It was my husband’s birthday and we have a great time. The steak was perfect and delicious. The Bone Marrow was lovely and the staff was terrific. They were also very accommodating because my hubby was a bit late due to trying to find parking. The restaurant manager went out of his way to take care of us and our lovely server. It was great! - Connie & Jason. Highly recommend

We had the lardo on toast to start. The bread was really hard and difficult to eat. The taste was good so a shame. We had a fassone steak - it was delicious and tender but a third of is was fat only . The potato chips were hard to eat (over cooked and dry) the tomato salad was blend - no olive oil or balsamic vinegar and none were offered. It is a shame as it has so much potential -

Food was very good and so was the service. The only inconvenience was that the sound level of the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other well, which was an issue for a business dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed an exceptional lunch. We ordered all Italian food & drink. Our waiting staff were attentive and helpful and we would certainly recommend and visit again, for sure.

I was there on Monday evening. The service very nice and attentive. We ordered one tomahawk and one t bone. The t bone was outstanding. But the tomahawk was mostly fat. I was very disappointed about the tomahawk. I let the manager knows and he offered us the dessert. I suggest the place but definitely not the tomahawk.

We have dined here on 2 previous occasions (in the evening) and it was fantastic. We responded to their 'Sunday Lunch' email and booked for ourselves and 2 friends. When we arrived, we had to ask for their Sunday Lunch menu; some ordered drinks did not arrive; the advertised glass of prosecco was not provided and finally the meal itself was not value for money. It was enjoyable and the beef was of a good standard however it was not what we expected after our previous visits.

We went back for a second time as our first experience was outstanding. We are not sure if they had less staff, but you could sense they were all tense and stressed out. Food was slow, drinks were even slower. We had to ask 4 different servers for our drinks and lo and behold, got double charged for them. Food was bland and cold. Not a fault of the restaurant, but there was a big group with kids and the noise and ruckus was unbearable. There were couples switching seats because of this. We will not be coming back.
