Macellaio RC is a growing family of three Italian restaurants in London.
Our restaurants are most famous for its fine steak. In fact, Macellaio means "butcher" and we like to call our steakhouses the butchery with tables. The steak we serve is exclusively from the Fassona beef breed, sourced from special mountain valleys in the north of Genoa.

We take pride in sourcing incredible authentic Italian ingredients, food with utmost respect, preparing it with love, and expertly cooking each dish bringing to life a delightful trattoria dining experience.

I booked a table to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we have been offered a glass of Prosecco at our arrival which made her feel so special! The overall customer service was spot on, from the recommendations to our preferences. It might seem a bit overpriced as for example the green salad. But the overall experience is worth the price. Loved the intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing and the staff friendly. We arrived earlier than our booking time and we were offered some Prosecco and charcuterie while the table got ready.

Great first experience at Macellaio. We tried the beef carpaccio and vitello tonnato for starters and they were incredible. Also very good portions. Bread that came with it was just perfect as well. We also had the ravioli and the macaroni al ragu and it blew our heads off. The flavour on the food was superb. To finish, we had tiramisu as dessert and of course, amazing as well.

Nice staff but slow. The cooking of the meat was not satisfying, worse overall compared to previous times. The cut was fill of fat. Only 40% could be eaten. Wine list very poor and overpriced

Locale piccolo e carino anche se l’area antistante il locale non è molto accogliente. Il servizio è ottimo, il signore calabrese che ha preso l’ ordinazione e che ci ha seguito per tutta la cena è stato sempre molto cortese e disponibile. Il cibo purtroppo non ci ha soddisfatto. Buona la focaccia e la burrata. Il prosciutto di Parma troppo grasso e troppo salato. La carne (sia il revolver sia la costata) poco saporita. Buone le patate al forno. Scarso il gelato al fior di latte. Non ci tornerei nè lo consiglierei

Honestly I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Great steakhouse and great value. The meat is just extraordinary. Wine selection could be wider although it is good. Congratulations !

This is the 2nd time I’ve been to this place.. it was better this time than the first time I came.., Wow it was likely the best steak dinner I’ve ever had.. super good!!

Went for lunch at 2pm on a Tuesday but surprised that after reading the good reviews the place was empty. Nevertheless the service and food were excellent. One of the best steaks I have had I a long time and I eat a lot of steak! Very friendly service from Antonio. Many thanks.

Perfect from start to finish. The staff weee very welcoming and could not do any more. All the food was perfectly cooked and of an excellent standard. The only addition I wound suggestion would be a non alcoholic beer.
