Afternoon tea with an Alice in Wonderland theme - the food was delicious and fun - presentation was quirky and true to theme. We had a blast and left full up - don't let the bite sized proportions fool you.

Had the afternoon tea with champagne, it was a great experience! The food was excellent, and they were very easily able to offer the menu gluten free. The tea was fantastic, you receive a giant pot. The ambiance was excellent as well, and the staff were very kind.

One of the best afternoon teas I’ve had in London. The attention to detail on all the cakes, sandwiches and utensils were lovely. Only downside was the 15% service charge added to the bill.

The venue could have capitalized better on the “Alice in Wonderland” theme. Venue was a bit cramped. Food was fantastic! We didn’t know that you could ask for more “savory” food as there was an overload of sweets. Still a unique dining experience.

It's very overrated. The food quality, for the price is actually quite poor. Everything tastes quite bland The experience itself is also not that great - it's just very basic. If it's a mad hatters theme, then it needs to go all out. I just thought it was nothing special. It was quite busy and the staff were not attentive and took forever to serve + help. I've been to quite a few different afternoon teas around London and this one was probably the worst.

I took my daughter for afternoon tea the staff were very attentive but some of the items in our cake stand looked like they’d been standing out for a while noteably the mini croque monsieur. Also the area where we we seated was a marquee type structure and every time someone walked past my chair ( which was all the time as I was right in the main walkway) there was a loose floorboard which meant my chair tilted. The chairs were metal small picnic type so not very comfortable which was a shame . Overall I wouldn’t recommend this experience to others and at the cost of £60 per head felt poor value for money.

We booked this for the afternoon tea experience, were really excited for the Alice in Wonderland theme. Apart from the fact that the ambiance of the place does not really give you any vibe of the book theme, the afternoon tea itself was implemented rather poorly. Some pieces were neat, but no effort was made to fully show the theme. The little "drink me" potions did not have labels on, the food was mediocre, and did not taste very high standard.
On top of all this it was really expensive, and I do not fancy that the prices are similar to the Ritz and the effort is close the zero. I would recommend to change the theme cause this was highly disappointing!

We booked that afternoon tea because of recommendations on the internet. The setting was nice and the service good but unfortunately the quality of the food wasn’t what we expected. It tasted like a lot of artificial aroma and not much natural ingredients. The courtyard was very loud and my head felt like it might explode under that heating radiator. The whole lobby is smelling like some kind of space Parfum that made me sneeze. The surrounding, the tables and chairs in the courtyard reminded us of a canteen. If you’re looking for an event, a bit trendy and a place to be seen it’s a good choice. If you’re a foodie and like the traditional tea time and natural flavors with outstanding service go for another hotel in London.

Went specifically for the Mad Hatters Tea with friends. Lovely courtyard seating area with heaters. Fabulous tea although the food was more on the sweet side than the savory side. Lots of chocolate, biscuits and cakes - few sandwiches. Nice touch was that you were given a box to take home anything you couldn't finish. Choice of teas amazing and the flavours were great - you can buy the tea to have at home but they had run out of supplies when we were there on Sunday which was a shame. All in all 9/10 for afternoon tea. Perhaps a bit too pricey for what you get but overall not outrageous. Would definitely recommend but probably wouldn't have tea there again as I said above, it was very sweet. Have been to the same venue for drinks and dinner so would definitely return to have drinks and/or dinner. Love the vibes here, food good and very relaxed atmosphere.

Staff, food, service, and environment were all wonderful! Only issue was that there were children running around almost constantly almost hitting the table where our tea and food were. They ran around so much it would shake the table, I was afraid my tea would spill almost the whole time I was there.

I think this was a really fun, and pleasant idea. I am a great fan of afternoon tea and have previously been to alternative hotels and event. I would definitely recommend however, felt a little underwhelmed with the food. I would suggest it is good however, slightly too sugary and artificial for my liking. Very fitting for the theme though.

Was quirky and full of surprises. A must for all literary fans, especially Alice in Wonderland. My only criticism was the 15% service charge on all drinks at the bar - a bit steep, we expect it on food in London, but not at the bar.

Spent a lovely time here, kind of hard to find because there is no sign or anything but it is a good afternoon tea, you get a full pot, nice flavours and some props related to the "Alice in Wonderland" universe. I think interior tables are nicer, because the fountain is a bit noisy, and you're just in the middle of modern office buildings with a few plants here and there.

We booked this as a treat on a recent trip to London and to be honest for £58 for the champagne version of this it was not good value at all. The cake stand were wobbly, chips out of the tea pot and the table that the Afternoon tea was served was not appropriate with it was high stools beside the kitchen and the door on to the conservatory area. Not once during the 2 hours were were there did one member of the team come along to ask was there anything else we need or were we ok? Also the variety should be more balanced it was quite a sweet tea. Whilst the Alice in Wonderland touches were nice it could of been so much better.
The nicest thing was the glass of champagne. Then to add insult to it there was a 15% service charge of £35 to which I feel was like robbery as we did not get the service to reward such a service charge. We wont be back or recommending this to friends and family.

Overall it is a nice tea party experience, with excellent tea options and tasty savory. My daughter loved the mad hatter theme and decorations and the sweet options. The serving pots are also very nice. However, I found the service to be very slow. I had to wait so long to my cappuccino, that I ended up asking it to-go. Also compare to other options in London, I would say it is overpriced.
