Food was great, drinks were 10/10. Service was good. Very noisy/vibey, and table near us were taking loads of photos with the flash on which ruined the ambience somewhat…
Great service, overall vibe was nice however the food was average. At times we did find it a challenge to get the attention of the waiters even when people had left. Cocktails are great though so would definitely go back for drinks
I have been here multiple times and the food is always excellent! The service was awful, we had to ask the hostess multiple times where the server was and if they could take our order. It took over 45 minutes for them to bring us water. If it wasn’t for the amazing food I would never return.
Fab restaurant, very friendly welcoming staff, so lovely, interesting take on Mexican food ,amazing place to see the sun go down over london, great vibe ,fab music
Not happy with the food….highly priced!
Perfect! Went for breakfast meeting and absolutely loved everything. I’ve been there before for lunch and was so happy with the vegan menu. I hope that soon some vegan options will appear on the breakfast menu too! Really recommended :)
The vegan menu!! & the views 🤩 AMAZING. Coming back there for sure!
Lovely ppl great atmosphere
Edgar at Madera was amazing! The best food, ambience and service
Quite sub par for the prices.. most of the food on the menu was not available . And food was delayed to arrive although they apologised. The portions were quite small too.
The ambience and view was great I must say but the food could’ve been better.
They didn’t have all the food on the menu and the service was really poor considering the price of the restaurant.
We got yummy breakfast in a swanky ambience. They made us special bloodies and they were also great. Awesome friendly service too.
Absolutely loved Madera! The staff were brilliant; very attentive, has good product (food) knowledge and accommodated all my dietary requests.
We loved the ambiance; music was good and not too loud, views were pretty and food was soooo tasty!
Would recommend. Looking forward to going back again :)
Great views pricey cocktails, food on point though
Waiter got the order wrong by not adding a dish on, when asked for water it did not come. Called a waiter over and he did was not very friendly. Music was way to loud for a restaurant. Food was amazing! But service and music level let the place down. Would visit again
Beautiful setting, views and interior at Madera - they have done a great job! The service was also fantastic but the food is unfortunately a let down. With prices of the ceviche a lot more than established high end restaurants (such as Coya or Lima) yet the size is just a 1/3 of theirs and flavour is so-so.. same with the ‘Rock’ chicken - the accompaniments were average at best. I think next time I will visit the Nest upstairs just for a drink instead because like I said, the view and settings are lovely, as are the staff.
Good location and lovely place to see the sun set--which we did.
We had a late Brunch. Food was tasty but. We had the Fajita plates which were good but not too different from similar offerings..
The Cocktails were very good and well worth a visit with a "substantial" meal and the view.
We will probably check it out again at night once the COVID restrictions end.
Very cute space with lots of plants. Expensive for Mexican food. Maybe just me, but do sit down restaurants really need DJs playing music at 120 decibels? I'm not a fan of having to yell in order to have a conversation with the people at my table
Really nice decor on the 15th floor service on point , good food and good ambiance .
Perfect for a date or a group
Nathaniel was our server and was so great and treated us very well.
Found hair in the food which ruined our appetite to finish our meal. The restaurant discounted the cost of the dishes served and assured us they will investigate the matter further.
Requested a romantic table as it was our anniversary but the table was not good and by the window as expected.
Really disappointed with Madera. The interiors were lovely, but the music was a bit questionable and incredibly loud at times.
The menu is not particularly cheap, but the food resembled the likes of TGI/Wahaca and while one member of our party had her main delivered, the other 2 of us were left waiting over 20 minutes for our food to arrive.
Disappointed as I had heard good things but the food could be improved massively.
The food is much smaller than one would expect and the tequila prawns basically arrive on a pizza.
Completely surprised me!
Overvalued for pizza and tacos are tiny!
Came here for my birthday: new covid rules have been put in place. The staff were lovely and accommodating
Not an ideal experience - arrived with a booking and was seated in the very corner of the bar, behind a pillar in front of the section where all the condiments were kept for the waiters to grab and give to customers (i.e. not an actual seat). A different member of staff was surprised to see me sat there, she quizzed me as to whether I had a booking and then asked if that was where the other staff had seated me (perhaps it would have been more appropriate to ask your colleague who seated me?)
Despite this I wasn’t moved to a different seat (there were a number of free seats that weren’t filled and it was an hour from closing time). Of course, because this wasn’t actually a seat, I kept getting forgotten about: my cocktail only came out half an hour later and only after I’d received my food, and it took a while to get service in the first place. Food underwhelming and stodgy. Cocktail was messy and arrived dripping all over the table. Not enjoyable for the price. The views are truly stunning though!
Great food and service
Great decor + good music + fun vibes
- average food
- pathetic service
- poor value for money
= below par dining experience
Only Good for a fun casual group evening if u aren’t fussy about good food and service
Totally worth it! Already recommended it to friends!
Food was inedible. At some point we had to send the salad back not because it was not tasty but because it was so salty that it was a torture to eat. Luckily the waiter took it off the bill. My friend could jot finished any of her 4 meals. Frankly this was worse than MacDonald’s and then the prices are simply horrendous. This is a shame as music was great and the atmosphere was really lovely. The chef should be fired!
Very beautiful place, but it's too loudy for a dinner and absolutely overpriced.
Good food with a great view of London. I'd go back again for a birthday dinner.
Wow - amazing views and surroundings. Staff were great too
Excellent place to have a date if you like good food, DJ’s music and views of London.
Really fantastic food, location and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Felt like a buzzing London NY restaurant.
The food was really delicious, every plate we ordered was great.
Staff were really friendly and quick.
Food average, service was okay, our waiter was attentive.
Wevhad booked this place to celebrate a very special birthday, and wanted to be able to converse and catch up with our friends. We couldn’t talk, had to shout to hear each other, as the music was so loud! Had to request for it to be lowered, but didn’t happen. Felt as if it was a nightclub without the dance floor!!!
Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here, food was lovely and came very quick! (Almost too quick). Service was great, would say it’s a little overpriced but what can you expect for central London
The staff were very friendly but we waited 40 minutes for drinks, twice. We actually only had 2 drinks in the 3 hours were there based on the lack of service. The food was nice but over priced. The view was incredible. And the whole vibe was lovely. But the service time let the whole place down. As mentioned, the waiter was lovely, but seemed very overwhelmed and mentioned he was working 7am-1am which seems absurd. They did give us a free drink at one point, but by then we were over the whole evening.
Food was amazing! Highly recommend! You will not leave hungry!
