Went to Maggie’s today for lunch with my daughters, the restaurant is lovely, food was delicious, would highly recommend this place for a meal

Food was excellent when it came but it took ages to come. All four of us ordered something that in turned out they had run out of. Second attempt at ordering and 2 of us ordered steak only to be told later there was only one steak left. Ordered a bottle of red wine, they only had 1 out of 3 types on the menu. The food was really good but probably wouldn’t return

A couple of trainers, so had to wait for a few items. They did however, deduct the pice of a drink from the bill, otherwise,,food etc was great as usual 🙄

My partner and myself booked a table for 8pm on 14/9/24, when we arrived it was fairly busy in the main front sections with a large party also celebrating in the back section. We were greeted by really polite and smiley staff. Our drinks and food orders taken fairly quickly, with an apology for being longer than usual, both my partner and myself didn’t feel we were left hanging at all. Although busy it was a relaxed and chill environment and not too loud. Clean, fresh and calming decor. The food was excellent very fresh and roasting hot. The staff very attentive but not overbearing or pushy and willing to take time to answer any questions we had. We were there right till the end of the nite and staff super polite about it being last orders. Overall we had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back in the future.

Been to Maggies a few times and as always the staff were friendly. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. When I am back in kilmarnock I'll be going again

Waited 35 mins for someone to come take a drink order to be told there was a large party through the back hence the long wait. A futher 20 mins for food order to be taken then 45 mins for food to come. By this point i considering leaving. I ordered mixed tempura and 5 prawns came with digestive track still in and a full bell pepper half a mushroom, 3 baby carrots and 1 bit of chicken. Prawns howeved put me off the full meal. Kids tomato pasta was like mush. Then waited a futher 25 mins for plates to be cleared and asked if we wanted deserts. 3 younger members of staff walking about with there hands in their pockets while the bar staff did everything. Table behind us had same issues and children at this table were become very upset and board quite reasonable so. If larger booking are being made they need more staff to accommodate because this experience and extremely LONG evening wasn't how I planned to spend full evening. Sorry but won't be back

Food was up to usual standard although disappointed by size of the fish. Waiter's service and attitude was exemplary, cannot fault him.

Been here many times. Normally great service & food. Sadly on this occasion we were greeted with, We’ve no fish, no prawns & no steak pie. This was 5.30om on a Sunday service! I ordered 2 kids meals, burger & chips, then informed “we were lucky” there might just be 2 kids burgers left. There was indeed 2 burgers left, sadly, 2 burgers & chips, no salad or dressing up in any manner. I ordered the crepe (my favourite). The chips were piping hot but the crepe was mildly warm. No one came to check how the food was and being hungry I ate it any way. The kids then wanted dessert, but after a 10 minute wait for someone to take the order we decided to leave. Such a shame as my Grandkids are big fans of this venue, normally offered colouring sheets & crayons, again not on this occasion.
