First visit & was very happy with the service & the food. Delicious food, reasonably priced. Definitely recommend
Amazing food and cannot praise staff enough, very nice layout and atmosphere, was very busy for a Tuesday night so must be doing something right! Took me a really long time to decide what to eat because I can honestly say that everything on the menu sounded amazing!
Second time now and food excellent once again . Curry last time , lamb chops this time brill. Looking forward to when we go again to try something else.
Went New Year eve. Table booked for 10pm. Told we had to hurry up and order as kitchen was stopping taking orders at 10!
Food was lovely ... and female waitress with red hair was lovely.
But after we'd eaten the restaurant manager kept looking over at our table and I felt really uncomfortable as he was staring. We had to twice call across another waiter for more drinks as they were all too busy setting up tables for next day. We were not asked if we wanted a pudding. Manager came over with bill at 11.20 and asked us to settle up ... I wanted to pay on card and as we wanted more drinks I didn't want another tab. I asked if we was being chucked out of the restaurant and he said no. Eventually we felt pressurised into ordering the drinks we wanted for later ... settling the bill and leaving the restaurant for the bar part.
The music was too loud and not a very good sound system. There was no real atmosphere - especially considering it was NYE.
The food was lovely but a disappointing night and probably wouldn't come again especially if music was the same.
Excellent choices, fast service, the restaurant could be a bit warmer though, been there twice and extremely cold!!
2nd visit and again amazing!! Fabulous service and amazing food. Keep up the good work!!!x
Incorrect order came through. Had to ask twice for the replacement food. Bill then listed both items. Think it was a busy nite and staff maybe were under trained.
Had a lovely meal here. Food was tasty and well presented. Lots of different dishes to choose from. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, would definitely return just for that.
It was our first visit. The restaurant off good variety of the dishes at a reasonable price. The service was reasonable. Enjoyed the dining experience.
Excellent food, attentive staff we really enjoyed the meal. Did feel it was expensive though.
The service and food was excellent - highly recommend it. More up market absolute delight and treat.👍
Fabulous! It was busy when we got there but got seated immediately. Waitress was lovely. Food was served before we had finished our poppadoms👍 food was stunning! Best korma I have ever had. Really nice atmosphere and the manager (chinese man) leading from the front!! Definately recommend!
Overall the ambience and service at the restaurant was outstanding. The waiters were very attentative to us.
My starter of onion bhaji was absolutely delicious. Three generous portions of bhajis with a delightful crunchy salad. It was beautiful.
For main I had the maharaja korma which I found to be very creamy but the cream had not mixed well with the dish and gave the texture and impression of cottage cheese. The plain buttered naan was beautiful and not over buttered like many are.
Overall the atmosphere and service was truly exceptional but I'm not sure if I'll return for food, but it would definitely be a place to enjoy a drink.
Great service, very attentive. Food was gorgeous. Will definitely be returning soon! Great value for money- lamb shank to die for!!!
Visited here with a friend. Restaurant apparently open 5 weeks. I love Indian food and was looking forward to this. Tables quite close together and size of room makes it noisy. Difficult to have a chat. Menu is confusing, as in hard to understand what you are ordering (mains particularly). Dishes have unfamiliar names and descriptions are not clear, and I eat a lot of Indian food. We asked advice from the waiting staff who were mainly young girls. They had to keep going to ask advice themselves, clearly a training issue here. Eventually an older gentleman appeared to help us, but even he admitted the menu was confusing. Starters and mains eventually arrived within 5 minutes of each other after chasing up the order 45 minutes after we arrived. The food was ok, nothing more. Cocktail waiter ( a young American guy) was very helpful and clearly knew his stuff where the drinks were concerned. There are many Indian restaurants in Birmingham, need to do better than this. Based on this experience would not return.
Small portions, overpriced and average service. Portion sizes are particularly small and are not for sharing.
Fourth time here this time with friends and it was lovely as always. Tonight was the first time the service was a little bit slow but the food made up for it. I’m eating vegetarian throughout November and the choice was fabulous. The Sauvignon was gorgeous and such good value too.
Excellent service and food. Sunday roast with a twist is unbelievable and a must try
Overall good experience, interior needs more pot planting in main dining area to feel more intimate and absorb noise. Plastic posy on table cheap looking! single foliage/flower in small vase would be more suited to decor.
Service not great
Noise level loud
Would go again
The food was good but very spicey the waitress was new and forgot to order one of our dishes , but it was no problem . Decoration through out was lovely
Very poor food. We had high hopes but were so disappointed.
Service not great but that may be due to it being newly opened.
Sadly no return visit for us
Impromptu booking, but following this experience we have reflected and come to then conclusion we have been making do with bland basic boring curries! We did not know you could get such interesting, fresh and delicious Indian food and all very reasonably priced. Thank you. Hopefully we will be in the vicinity again.
As it's only been open a week and it's within walking distance we thought we'd give it a try and weren't disappointed! The food was beautiful, the cocktails were good and the white wine (Sauvignon Turtle Bay) was amazing. Considering starters, mains, desserts and 2 bottles of wine came to £74 we were not disappointed. Our waitress was good, it was very busy - and obviously some of the newer members of staff needed a bit of direction, but I think in a few weeks time it will be fantastic. The pizza's are cooked fresh in the onsite pizza oven, and everything had an indian twist. I had the lamb shank - beautiful. No faults - good food - decent portions and good atmosphere.
Very impressed, lovely food, a nice variety with a different menu than is usually available. Very quick service and food piping hot.
