Delicious food and great service. Server recommended items that were delicious. Able to book on line very helpful.
Good food, compact dining area, if loud voice customers are eating, you cannot hear yourself think.
Had a nice meal. Food overall was very good. Rice was very dry. Naan bread was best ever. Next time would not order the rice but would order even more Naan.
Very enjoyable - we will come again
Lovely place great service and beautiful food will be back
Tandoori salmon is excellent!
First visit here while visiting St Andrews. We enjoy our curries from different areas ie India, Asia Bangladeshi etc, welcomed by friendly staff, and seated downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the food was freshly made and tasty and we enjoyed a bottle of wine. The service was also good. Would return
Maisha a good standard Indian but the thing that makes it special and different are the seafood dishes they serve! Crab curry and Tandoori prawns are particularly good!
Great food. Coped with a party of ten who all wanted different dishes, magnificently and speedily.Could not have asked for better service. Some of the dishes are also truly imaginative.
Good friendly & helpful service. Extensive menu, ? Too many choices. Tasty curry.
The staff were very friendly, but we got charged for poppadoms that we only took because the waiter offered them to us. We thought the 2 poppadoms were complimentary- they were not and this was not explained to us. The bill was very expensive for what we had, £66 for 2 courses and lager for 2 people. The salmon curry was delicious, but it was £16 for a small piece of fish.
Very good food, but we left disappointed in how we had been swindled. We will not be back
Visited while on vacation in St Andrews. There were 5 of us, and all loved it!
Great food! A more imaginative menu than usual in Indian restaurants, particularly fish dishes. Service and dining environment were very pleasant. Highly recommend.
Overall we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. When we arrived they were not aware of our booking however they accommodated us in 15 minutes at a table.
Food was good, but service was dreadfully slow, very much focused on getting people crammed through the door even though could not cope with the level of business they had.
Will not be back
Only issue was the booking I made through this site. The booking was not in the book when I arrived to the restaurant. Which was a little concerning as I had booked a table for 8 for a relatives birthday. Luckily they were able to find us a table very quickly. Potentially could have been a disaster, especially as it was a Saturday night. I actually wanted an earlier booking. I wish I had just called as I probably would have been able to book for an earlier time.
Excellent quality food and service, tables quite close together as it is a small restaurant inside
Very over priced food, nice enough restaurant but they got our starters and main course wrong. Won't be going again shame as the location is great.
Decent enough curry house. Not the best but not the worst though certainly one of the most expensive that I've visited at more than £30 per head.
