Maison Du Mezze - Leicester Square
Food was not at all seasoned, extremely bland and overpriced! They also charge you for a large as default unless stated otherwise. Overall a big disappointment and would not recommend
The staff were amazing , would go again ! Amazing atmosphere and food was delicious. A little expensive but amazing ambiance.
Went with my husband and his family for my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday. We had a fabulous time - staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were more than happy to move us to a table away from the door where it was warmer and a bit quieter. Food was delicious and they even sang happy birthday and brought out her pudding with a candle in it! Great experience all round!
Had a nice mezze lunch before the theatre on Saturday - the restaurant was an oasis of calm compared to the busy Square outside. Service was great - waiter even turned the music down without us even asking! Mixed hot mezzo were nice but not really that warm. Could've been more heated. The aubergine dip and baby aubergines were lovely. Portions are good but prices have gone up considerably since we were here last. Good reliable place but a tad pricey.
Lovely food and helpful staff. A lot better than many other restaurants nearby.
Expensive for causal dining, shisha is great but over priced
Convenient location in the heart of Leicester Square with good ambience, but average food and service.
Service amd staff were great. Food was just average and very expensive for what it was
Amazing food and service, definitely one of my favorites in London and will absolutely go there again and take more guests there. Lovely service and staff was so friendly welcoming and professional, food was delish!
The place was dirty and the food average
Delicious food and attentive but discreet service. Lovely atmosphere too.
4 of us had lunch there on Wednesday, and what a sanctuary it proved to be from the pouring rain! We were given a wonderfully warm welcome and the service and food was outstanding. Many, many thanks
Would recommend as food was tasty but would also warn that it’s not cheap! Meal for two, no alcohol set us back almost £100!
Really friendly staff
Helpful and informative
Outstanding...Real food at its best served in a professional unhurried manner...Great location give the chains a miss and your tastebuds a treat at the same time !
Every thing was just what we expected and we had plenty of food you won’t come away hungry I would go again
I went for my birthday celebration, as is common the restaurant give you a cake as cortesey for singing for you birthday but in this occasion the restaurant wanted to charge it. maybe is rules for them but I didn't like that because I didn't feel special in my day and I won't celebrate other special day there again.
SEATED UPSTAIRS AT THE BACK WITH NO ATMOSPHERE, FELT LIKE WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE
We had a lovely meal. I chose the set menu, which I enjoyed. My sister and daughter the al a carte. All good value with a good varied menu. The food was beautifully served in lovely colourful china, as well as tasting good. The waiters very attentive and friendly. We loved the look of the place too. All comfortable seats, cushions and lighting. Wll definitely return with friends and family... highly recommend. Thank you.
We had a lovely waiter serving and his supervisor being attentive which is good, knowing the food portions and quality was really worth the price for the set menu and had a lovely time although the receptionist could be more attentive as i arrived slightly later than my fren who was already sitting inside. Without checking the bookings, I was just told there is no such bookings with two poker face from the receptionist who was more interested with the singing and basking of the entertainer outside.
Other than that, nice decor inside and great food and lovely service. Will come back again.
First time visit to this restaurant and will certainly be back. Food was superb, such a huge choice, if anything to much choice. Very Clean, very pleasant staff and prices very reasonable.
Absolutely brilliant restaurant, the food is outstanding.
The staff are friendly and always attentive.
Booked a pre theatre meal. Awful service and no time to eat sweet course despite arriving at 6:30 and leaving at 8:20pm. Would not recommend as we felt poor value at £19.95 per meal ☹️
The food was delicious. We sampled several appetizers in our group. None disappointed. Generous amount of food. A bit pricey, but for a special event, definitely worth it.
The staff are very friendly!
Repas excellent mais trop copieux à notre goût.
Pour ma fille et moi, nous n’avons pas pu tout finir, et donc gaspillé.
Tarif correct pour les mets proposés.
Un très bon thé à la menthe
I had made a reservation on OpenTable and had requested outdoor seating on the app. When I got there the hostess told me that they did not except reservations for outdoor seating. I told her that OpenTable had given me the option and I had chosen it. She ended up splitting a table of four for me so I could sit out there. I didn’t realize that it was also a hookah bar, and once I had ordered my food I was inundated with the smell of sweet smoke. If you are sensitive to this kind of thing then you may want to avoid the outdoor patio. I didn’t go inside so I don’t know if they also smoked inside. My food was very good and came very quickly. I wish I hadn’t been dining alone so that I could’ve tried more food because everything I saw coming out looked and smelled very good. The bread was amazing. I don’t usually eat bread and I almost turned it away when they put the basket down, but once I saw it I knew I had to have it :)
Service was excellent and very efficient. My partner and I each had three courses and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was great, I will definitely go back.
The service from start to finish was friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. We had a selection of hot and cold mezze that was delicious and beautifully presented and I wish I could have sampled them all but that will need to wait for my next visit. For somebody who loves Lebanese food as much as I do it was an amazing treat.
Interesting food which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were very helpful with advice about choices. Would definitely revisit.
This was a great find and really good food but it was incredibly expensive for what it was.
Very welcoming and attentive waiters. Had to wait longer than the promised 15 minutes for dessert which meant we had to cancel coffee order as we had to get to the theatre.
Menu online said the pre-theatre included a glass of prosecco but when we got there we were told quite rudely this was not the case.
I believe the waitresses attitude changed towards us as well when she found out we were only paying for the fixed price menu rather than the full main menu.
She rushed us through our ordering and made us feel like second rate customers.
What a pleasant surprise because I’ve probably walked past this lots of times. Very good food, generous portions and excellent service. Will come back and definitely recommend!
Lovely place, good food and great service. Would benefit from a revamp here.
A bit more expensive than my last dining experience, and the night was busy, waiting staff was a bit rushed and forgetful, we asked for a vegan menu and it took them 2 attempts to get us one.
and at the end when we were almost finished, we asked for some more bread, they acknowledged but nothing happened.
Drinks were very pricey, especially for the water, which i think was just nasty to charge so much for a bottle of water. We would be happy with free tap water to be honest.
Chose to sit outside so shouldn't have been surprised that it was pretty noisy. They seemed to be playing quite loud music inside as well though. For a pre-theatre menu the service was slow and we had to ask them to hurry up more than once. The food was a bit disappointing. I didn't mind the felafels but my friend wasn't keen on the taste. The spicy fish didn't look very appetising in its dark brown sauce though it tasted OK. It could have done with something green on the side as well as just chips which seemed an odd accompaniment. Middle Eastern desserts are always too sweet for me. Only had half of mine (the choice that wasn't baklava). An extra glass of prosecco cost an eye-watering £7.95.
Divine food, and fabulous wine and meal recommendations. Will definitely go back!
Very nice! Get the Chicken Mixed Grill!!
Great experience here for my fiancé’s birthday dinner! Service and staff was brilliant, would have given 5 stars for the food apart from the grilled vegetables - didn’t expect to have a bowl of ‘traditional roast dinner veggies’ at this type of restaurant. Would suggest aubergine, courgettes and peppers etc.
Other than that what we had ordered was divine and every mouthful was enjoyed by both!
