Maiz - Queen West
Food was really bad. Cold, it tasted like left overs
Had a really good Saturday night out here just having some drinks with my girl friends. We ordered guac+chips, and tacos and a pitcher of margaritas. It's a little more on the pricey side, but still worth the visit! Good latin music in the background too (Daddy yankee, Romeo Santos etc) I am planning on coming back again
It was my first time there and I loved the food and ambience! The service could be slight better as we had to constantly ask the waiters to refill our water and they seem to be too busy checking up on our food and drinks.
But overall I loved it there, the food was amazing! It’s a casual but cute place for dates or girls night
Portions look small for the price but the arepas alone are so filling, there wasn't a need for any sides. The garlic sauce was amazing and the house wines, especially the rosé were delicious and refreshing!
The place before had better arepas and better sauces. This place didn’t have salads or any sides. Just an ok experience
Great service, drink and food selection. Been to the Junction branch a couple times, the Queen W branch has some nice variations. Cool music on the stereo and a good casual environment for any occasion. Looking forward to going again
Poor food, and the micheladas were horrible, they pretend to be latin food but the flavor is not even close
I had a chicken arepa and passion fruit margarita. Both were just ok, not great but fine and the food came out very quickly. Someone at a nearby table had the camarones tacos and they looked really good. The interior is really nice but the music was way too loud for a restaurant at 7pm, making it difficult to have a conversation with the person across the table.
