Ambience is beautiful, lovely scenery. I’d recommend the Ned solely based on this, otherwise I would say for the amount paid the food portions were extremely small, no great value there at all. Service wasn’t the best either not very friendly.

Great food, probably the 'healthiest' of all the restaurants within The Ned. Smaller, more intimate setting than some of the others (ask to be seated in booths). Great service, would recommend.

No asking about allergies. Hence no warning there was avocado in the chocolate cale which cause a terrible allergic reaction

One of our party had an injured shoulder in a sling - the staff noticed and immediately moved us to a booth table, without asking, to make him more comfortable - really considerate and made a big difference to our evening. The food was exceptional - in particular the sea bream tacos. Would definitely recommend.

I think the Taco Tuesday deal is just about good value. If I had been paying full price for the same things (including the cocktail) I think I would be a little disappointed but that's often to be expected from meal deals. The thing that let it down was the service, it was pretty cold and unengaging which didn't fit with the overall atmosphere of what it should be.

I went for brunch, with a friend, and we both had a really good experience. Our waitress was superb, the food was gorgeous and the building is just amazing.

My only comment is that the music does make it a bit noisy to have a conversation easily over dinner but don’t let that turn you off as the food is absolutely amazing!!

Made the booking months ago and was on stalls, not happy.

Food was nice but service was lacking. Main course plates not cleared for a long time after we had finished despite being passed my waiting staff and host many times. Not offered any more drinks after our first order, had to ask for more water. Staff were friendly but for the money should have been on top of these basic points.

The stools for the long table were extremely uncomfortable and everyone who sat there eventually moved to a booth when once became available. The food was just ok. It was so loud I couldn’t hear my friend who was right across from me. If you’re going out to catch up and have a conversation over dinner it’s not the place but if you’re going out for music and drinks it would be ok for that.

Great vibe and lovely settling.
Disappointing that we had to wait 10mins to seat (and the move to boothe after meal) despite booking a table.
I liked the Tuesday deal offer.

Malibu Kitchen is a little gem tucked in the corner of the Ned - which worked perfectly for us on a crazy busy Tuesday! Taco Tuesday is a great way to experience the Ned and eat lovely food in lovely surroundings at an affordable price. The staff in Malibu Kitchen are so busy and yet the customer does not lose out at all - they looked after us beautifully - so much so that this will be my first choice of where to spend any Tuesday evening for the foreseeable future. The food was lovely - small tacos to be fair but to be expected I suppose. The Margherita was perfectly mixed - most definitely a welcome start to our tasty tacos.

It was OK. As this is advertised as a healthy restaurant I wasn't expecting my sea bream tacos to arrive breaded and fried. I also couldn't tell you if it was actually seam bream as the amount of fish inside was minuscule and very overdone and dry. They were also very keen to take plates away which we were still eating from. I probably wouldn't return based on this.

Sweet potato fries - wonderful
Beetroot tartare, cucumber, pistachio, horseradish, almond aioli - big tick
Young coconut, green papaya, raw vegetables, heart of palm, spicy nuts - even bigger tick

Service - so so. Food arrived before the prosecco

Seating - I didn't request booth seating. Advisable, especially if you don't want to be blinded by the sun at lunchtime

The seating was quite squashed as we were sharing a high table and the stools were a bit rocky. The food was ok, vegan pulled pork burger didn’t have much flavour. Quality of ingredients was good.

Beautiful place delish food friendly efficient service just I personally struggled with the acoustics generally. That said it’s remarkable how much quieter the booths in Malibu are than the central shared table (we sat at both).

Cosy feel to this restaurant with great choice of healthy dishes that offer something a little different. The raw chocolate cake, made from advocado, was a very tasty dessert.
