Good, tasty, nicely presented food. What more could one ask for?
Malibu Kitchen has the loveliest staff. Portions are quite small but that's made up for by a great atmosphere and personnel.
Beautiful setting and lovely food
At first they sat us at the communal space when I had made reservations for a table, so that was a disappointment. We waited at the communal space until a table was available for us.
The food was really amazing. We ordered tacos, ceviche, tuna poke, quesadilla and guacamole. We had pancakes for desert and they were really good! Highly recommend the place.
First time at Malibu at The Ned for a business meeting. Was a great location and my contacts loved it!
Fantastic atmosphere with live jazz, beautiful balloon decorations in the air and low fat scrumptious food. Can’t wait to go back!
It's always a pleasure to eat at Malibu kitchen.
Quick lunch for 2 - hamachi starter ok but not exciting & too small for the price. Tuna ahi/Avo & rice starter really good & generous, ditto the cheeseburger & chicken "brick" mains. Chocolate (& avo) dessert really tasty & filling. Service very attentive. The counter seating is not ideal& stools are not comfy enough. Seems you need to be in a 4 to get a decent banquette.
The menu needed some translation but the food when delivered was excellent and so tasty! The waiter realised it was my birthday so my dessert had a note on it to mark the occasion - lovely thought!
Excellent food and service.
Good location but not value for money. Quite noisy environment and prices are on the high side.
Amazing food and great service however a little tightly packed. It might be an idea to lose a couple of tables on the long banquettes to give diners a little more space and not feel like they are on top of the diners next to them. You feel very conscious of how much food you are ordering as you are a little restricted on space and don't want to encroach on the diners next to you.
Really light, heathy and delicious food
Quesadilla for breakfast was too small of a portion so I had to order sides with it.
£43 for two average burgers, a bottle of water and two coffees. The tables were packed close together, there was an aroma of grease throughout and it was very noisy. Several restaurants in one place has to be pretty unusual and to make an impression it has to be pretty special. It wasn’t.
Opted for here due to the Vegan offering for my dining friend. Shared a Chia Flatbread which was delish and could've devoured a whole one each; Jackfruit burger went down a treat as did my Cheeseburger and both had good portion of fries (sweet potato, her; regular for me). We shared a raw chocolate cake which was a real surprise - a whole one next time!
Washed down with a few appropriately named Glamour Lady cocktails.
Excellent food, surprisingly delicious and healthy. Service was good but staff was a bit awkward and inexperienced. Beautiful decoration though venue feels isolated compared to all other restaurants/bars in the Ned.
The food was amazing! The highlight for me was the beef fillet! Would definitely come back again and try everything on the menu. They also gave me the seats with the view of the restaurant as per my request, thank you very much 😊
I really enjoyed the Malibu Kitchen. I found the kitchen to aesthetically pleasing, the food tasty and the pricing surprisingly good for being in St Paul's area. The dessert was to die for and the jackfruit burger was nice, only it needed something to make it have a cruch (personal preference though).
Relaxed,attentive waiters,yummy food.
The place is tiny and people are very tight there< tables for 4 are used for 6 and the bars to eat are crowded.
The service is good but waiters&waitress are very busy so it-s a bit difficult to catch the attention when you need something.
It-s actually very expensive for the quality of food.
Grand and vibrant surroundings in the banking hall of the old Midland Bank at The Ned. Service at the Malibu Kitchen was good. Food was okay for the price and reasonable value for money, although (as with all restaurants in the Ned) the vegetarian options are limited.
Warning - if you like a Bombay gin & tonic, be prepared to pay a comical price if ordering from the main bar!
Great service and food - the atmosphere was great!
The food was okay ...we opted for the taco menu ...they were okay but for 27 £ we were expecting more .the seam bream taco was not like in the phone ...the sides arrived very late after the mains were brought to the table .ambience and designs is good but for a top place in London they have some work to do
Perfect evening out with friends! Very trendy, very vibrant, great music if you go on Monday! The food is fresh and delicious. Excellent service.
Stunnin place and concept but food didn’t live up to my expectations.
Ambience is beautiful, lovely scenery. I’d recommend the Ned solely based on this, otherwise I would say for the amount paid the food portions were extremely small, no great value there at all. Service wasn’t the best either not very friendly.
Delicious food and drinks. Great atmosphere and perfect location for those working in or near the City.
We had an absolutely amazing lunch here. I would highly recommend visiting.
Great food, probably the 'healthiest' of all the restaurants within The Ned. Smaller, more intimate setting than some of the others (ask to be seated in booths). Great service, would recommend.
No asking about allergies. Hence no warning there was avocado in the chocolate cale which cause a terrible allergic reaction
One of our party had an injured shoulder in a sling - the staff noticed and immediately moved us to a booth table, without asking, to make him more comfortable - really considerate and made a big difference to our evening. The food was exceptional - in particular the sea bream tacos. Would definitely recommend.
I think the Taco Tuesday deal is just about good value. If I had been paying full price for the same things (including the cocktail) I think I would be a little disappointed but that's often to be expected from meal deals. The thing that let it down was the service, it was pretty cold and unengaging which didn't fit with the overall atmosphere of what it should be.
Super tasty, fresh, imaginative food.
I went for brunch, with a friend, and we both had a really good experience. Our waitress was superb, the food was gorgeous and the building is just amazing.
My only comment is that the music does make it a bit noisy to have a conversation easily over dinner but don’t let that turn you off as the food is absolutely amazing!!
Went to Malibu kitchen for a business breakfast. Food is healthy and light.
Food was 40 minutes late, food was quite cold, not properly explained why our food was late either. Money was taken off the bill which was appreciated.
