Great atmosphere especially with live music on a Thursday evening. Food and service was great too.
Great food and service but maybe the music can’t be lower a bit. It was very difficult to have a proper conversation without shouting across the table.
Went on a Thursday night. Incredible building/decor, lovely food and nice service. ..But far too noisy!!!
The cod was very dry and plain with little taste. No interesting garnishing etc. One of our guests got the wrong order of food but we didn't change. Slow service. Very expensive for a dry piece of fish. The Ned has a great atmosphere and I've had good experiences with the other restaurants.
My only issue with eating at The Ned is the difficulty in finding your specific restaurant! A server at the entrance directing would have been useful as we looked round almost every restaurant before finding the Malibu kitchen!
Tasty and healthy food. Best panna cotta in London!
My favourite place in the ned though they have made some tweaks to the menu and I'm not sure its for the better.
Everything included in the Taco Tuesday deal is delicious! I had the tuna and beef tacos, and shared the sweet potato and guacamole sides, and the chocolate tart for dessert. Great service too.
Great food, great location and friendly yet professional service. A repeat visit on the cards!
Fresh and healthy options in a very beautiful venue. At night the Ned becomes noisy, good atmosphere but not for those looking for a quiet place
Ambiance was great, but food was lacking flavour. Taco Tuesdays is a good offer in theory but taste wise is doesn't hold up.
Always enjoy Malibu kitchen. This time we went for Taco Tuesday and added a green coconut salad for good measure to share. We overstayed our 1.5hr slot but were not kicked out. All made for a nice healthy midweek dinner!
Second visit to this eaterie in the Ned with my Vegan cousin. We share some plates - loved the scallops and raw chocolate cake - less keen on the sweet potato fries this time. Friendly staff and a nice buzzy atmosphere especially on Music Mondays
Service wasn't great nor was the food. Not the best for a premium restaurant!
Really nice - atmosphere was good, service was great and food was excellent
1st time at the Malibu Kitchen and the food and service was great! But shame we had to give up table after 1.5 hours. But overall great place to eat.. Thanks.
Not my personal style of food, I looked at the menu online and they didn’t give the same menu when we got there, so there wasn’t much to choose from food wise. It was a lot louder than expected so for an anniversary dinner it wasn’t romantic to have to shout at each other.
Maybe it was my poor choice as a vegetarian but a main course described as a forbidden rice bowl was a salad into which very little thought had gone. I presume it was called forbidden rice by the absence of rice. Very strange description. The fish main course chosen by my fellow diner was rather lonely on its plate too. Very disappointing
I could eat at this restaurant everyday and not tire. The menu is varied to suit all preferences with unusual combinations to inspire. Courgette and Almond flatbread a must. We grazed on a variety of unusual salads with amazing flavours. Could have done with spoons to transfer the salad from the serving dish to our plates but this was quickly remedied. We ordered their home made shakes - cold brew coffee with mocha and dates which was outstanding...although rather bemused that it is served in a PLASTIC BOTTLE - why ??? - they say that its pre made - ok i get that but serve in a glass for heavens sake. Dessert we shared raw chocolate cake with raspberries.. faultless. I would be happy to eat breakfast lunch tea and supper in the Malibu Kitchen every day for ever..
Enjoyable evening, good service and tasty food. Quite close seating with others around you and a noisy environment in the open plan building, with a musician playing.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in London. Lovely food, great atmosphere and nice service!
The menu was different from what's available online (e.g. on Google Maps) as they had different dishes with much higher prices. The soup starter was absolutely inedible, it was cold but that was not a problem, the problem was that it tasted like shampoo with some random spices thrown in. The chicken mains was OK - nothing special for the price. It would have been polite if the service offered to replace the starter or take it off the final bill but they did not offer.
Great atmosphere and surrounding. Good to be able to get away from the main noise of the bar, but still feel part of the room. Attentive staff and lovely food, although some portions are on the small side - be sure to check with the staff if you are looking for larger plates.
Great place for healthy food, also lots of delicious vegan dishes.
Fabulous lunch with great service
Food and drinks were nice but morbidly overpriced. Dinner menu was slightly underwhelming and menu did not explain the dishes well.
We enjoyed the Taco Tuesdays menu and found all of our chosen options to be light, tasty and fresh. The live music, attentive waiters and unique venue also made our experience very enjoyable.
Great coffee and really impressive menu full of fresh and interesting ingredients.
The food was very average, definitely not value for money.
It was also very noisy due to a band playing nearby.
Beautiful and delicious food - fresh, crisp flavours presented with style. Service is attentive but not obstructive. Be prepared for a lot of background noise - a fun buzz throughout the restaurants of The Ned. Sat at the counter which doesn’t appear comfortable but surprisingly was very much so.
Great food and service. Enjoyed the environment a lot
Such a lovely restaurant! Food was delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. We had a booth along the side and the decor was beautiful. Highlights were definitely the ceviche, cod and açai panna cotta!
Wonderful healthy veggie food.
Bit pricey though.
Good food and service with a fun atmosphere, albeit the NED itself is a little noisy
Had a very late breakfast. Highly recommended. Everything was fine from greeting and sitting to the food and service. The place is small and less noisy than other restaurants in the hotel.
Shockingly poor service, had to repeatedly ask for coffee, and my food never came despite multiple separate requests. The staff are charming but useless. It’s quite noisy, but that’s to be expected at breakfast time. It’s a long time since I have been somewhere so incompetent.
Although the food was good, the service was not so good. The waitresses appeared indifferent and uninterested in whether we were having a good time or had everything we wanted. We felt a little rushed while having our starters. and we had to ask for everything.
I have to say this is my second time at MK and I was disappointed with the chicken; it was served lukewarm but dessert was amazing. Even at 5:45pm the noise level was loud which makes it a tad difficult to have a decent conversation without raising voices.
