Malt + Pepper is London’s first truly beer led, food concept. Beer is at the core of everything we do; whether it’s an ingredient, a marinade or a pairing that elevates the dish. We’re teaming up with local breweries to take spent grain, an often wasted by-product, and turn it into brownies, breads and bases.

Food was really great!! But we did have to wait an hour...which for a Sunday lunch when everything is pretty much prepared and the same is too long.

Service was less than good. The ladies behind the bar were distracted with other things.... not customers.....and food was delivered in multiple stages rather than all together - which is fine if its tapas, but less good when its a Sunday roast!!

Good meat options - burger and pork belly were decent and well worth 50% off - not sure they'd feel like great value at full price but not bad. Vegetarian options weren't good - definitely a feeling like a meat focused vibe. The Beetroot parcel was dry, bland and underwhelming despite being the most expensive thing on the menu. Service was from young and inexperienced staff who didn't really understand the issue with the food, but after a request another waiter sorted out the issue for us and was attentive.
