Mama Makan Indonesian Kitchen
Mama Rosmina leads her team in an attractive open kitchen and offers guests pure authentic Indonesian flavors, in a warm, vibrant atmosphere from early morning until late at night. Mama's signature dishes are her Rijsttafels, a colorful feast of Indonesian dishes, including soup, starters, mains and desserts. With Rice Tables made for sharing, it's a perfect hot spot for a date night or fun group celebrations.
Mama takes the following measures to ensure everyone is healthy and safety:
-Face masks are obligatory in the restaurant when entering and moving. Face masks are allowed to be taken off only at the table.
-Parties above two persons must come from the same household
-We can only accept tables of a maximum of 4 persons
-Dinner can only by reservation
-Minimum 1.5 meters between the tables
-A health screening interview will take place on arrival at the restaurant

Lovely ambience friendly people and delicous food.
Had a nice dinner for 2. The rice table, which was kind of a course menu concept was great. The food tasted authentic indonesian but had als a lot of surprises with their own characteristics. Overall, the service included, it was a fine dining experience.

Soep was lauw, de bediening ging te snel met haar verhaal en kwam nauwelijks vragen of alles naar wens was en of we nog wat nodig hadden. Wij moesten steeds zelf roepen als we wat nodig hadden en reactie duurde lang. Jammer want had er meer van verwacht.

Zaterdagavond ontzettend genoten van MAMA'S FAVOURITE RIJSTTAFEL met bijpassend wijnarrangement. Heerlijke gerechten, een goede service en en een fijne sfeer. Het voelde even alsof ik weer in Indonesië was. Bedankt Mama Makan!
I loved the food and the ambiance is great. Also everything looks very clean, from the open kitchen to the toilets. The staff was very friendly and also all with facemask.
The price is good for what you get, we had the ‘ricetable’ menu. Some dishes were too spicy for me, but it’s Indonesian kitchen, so it is what it is!
The food was very fresh and nice, for me it was a bit spicy though, but the kitchen is indonesian, so some species are to be expected!

Brilliant place! Really enjoyed! We had the tapas style option with lots of small dishes...one was cold as it had been sat too long but the rest was incredible. Fab waiting staff and beautiful setting.

Went here with a friend (we are both Indonesian). We liked the classic Indonesian flavours with a moderns twist!! The cocktails were very good as well. We had lunch in the garden, which I recommend. Prices are, for a lunch a bit high, since they recommend you to order 2 dishes per person.
Geen goede uitleg over het menu gekregen, serveerster sprak alleen Engels en was slecht te verstaan. Muziek stond te hard en was niet in stijl met het restaurant. Het bestek was vies en hebben we terug moeten sturen. Geen goed visitekaartje en al helemaal niet in Coronatijd. Helaas ben ik als klap op de vuurpijl ook nog doodziek geworden en heeft mij echtgenoot een arts moeten raadplegen, deze constateerde een voedselvergiftiging. Gezien de naam van het Hyatt hadden we een hoge verwachting maar werd het een enorme teleurstelling. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.
this is the best restaurant in Amsterdam i have ever been. Really high recomment . You should order rice table for full of food and try many different kind of food. You wont regret. Really so delicious
