Manjit's @ The Wharf
Good was really tasty and good. Service really let the evening down. There were plenty of staff around but nobody seemed to be doing much. When we finished our meal, we had to ask for our plates to be cleared as they were sitting there empty for 15 mins. The woman waitress never smiled once and when they tried to charge a bottle of wine at AUD250 instead of AUD55 by error, she gave no apology. The staff really need some proper guidance and training.
Bad Staff, do not co-operate. Does not give the requested table even after pre booking of more than a month.
Food is strcitly average for high prices...will not recommend
Overpriced and bad food. Service was good and location is nice enough but the food was below par . Restaurant is clearly successful thanks to the location
Would not recommend for any reason. Too expensive, boring flavours, poor service.
Great location. They have lot of food options and even the food was delicious.
So expensive vegetables biryani for $42 while in similar restaurants for $29
Good ambience. Good food, although the portions were small. However, waiter kept rushing us by constantly checking if we finished our food. The frequent checks were annoying. Also, we asked for tap water and got bottled water instead and were charged for it. Unfortunately, we noticed it later and decided to pay to avoid creating a fuss. Overall, good restaurant for the ambience with pleasant enough service. But avoid going later at night as the waiters tend to keep checking on an annoying frequency if the meal is complete.
Food good but forgot rice and nan bread. Service poor
The restaurant had fantastic views of Vivid display & lights. Food was good. The entre’ & biryani was exceptional. Service friendly. Overall an enjoyable night out with the family
Will be back!
Very good quality, great tasting food. Best presentation
awful food. no aircon during a valentines day night. I will never go back.
My Birthday dinner and the restaurant was a great success. Very attentive wait staff, food was the best I have ever had and the atmosphere was lovely! Also view of Darling Harbour is also a great asset.
As usual, the food and ambience was amazing We really enjoyed the team lunch. It took close to one hour for the food to arrive and some people had to leave as they could not wait any longer. May be if not all food was ready, something could have been served before the rest. This does not change my love for the place but many were visiting for the first time.
The service was poor. Staff was not attentive, brought the food out when we were still going with the entrees even though we had asked them to wait, did not pay attention when we wanted to order more breads in the middle of the meal. Towards the end of the meal at 10:05 PM we suddenly had three staff members at our table trying to rush us through by telling us that the kitchen is closing - the same staff that wasn't being attentive when we were trying to order more breads had all the time in the world to rush us through.
Nice enough for what it is. No issues about me going back, but it's not as knockout as the view. Would agree though probably better than most of the places along there.
