Surprised that the restaurant was packed at 5pm on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, with a number of large groups. The food was excellent—chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, Sunday gravy with meatball and sausage and lobster and shrimp diavolo. Large portions too. But the real problem was service. Asked the manager to check on our order after an hour or so. She noted how busy they were and never came back to update us. Then we asked a waitstaff and she didn’t come back. Finally, a waiter came over and said it would be another 10 minutes. Got our mains 1.5 hours after sitting down. Not enough cooks in the kitchen?
We live in Delaware and we come to Pitman for oldies shows and we love to eat at your place the food is outstanding we’ll be back at the next oldies show see you then
The last few time we were there we had to wait almost an hour for our dinner. We had to rush to get out in time to see a show up the street. They seem to overbook and have an excuse that doesn’t interest me. Shame on me but no more.
Very great lunch - Luis was amazing and will go again
The food is always delicious. The service is wonderful. Always a wonderful dining experience.
Service was great, food was very good. Looking forward to returning!
Food and service were excellent, prices were a little higher than other BYOBs. They included a side salad which many other better places don’t typically do. Overall it was a good experience.
Asked for Caesar side salad and told there would be an up charge to only find out it was $7 each as the up charge. We’re used to paying the uncharged but not $7. Also the waitress kept coming back to check every 5 minutes interrupting our conversation
We made reservations on open table but
Perfect on every level .
This was our first visit to Mannino’s. Food was excellent! Restaurant was very clean and staff super friendly! Thanks to Nicolette for taking great care of us! We will definitely go back!
First time there & we absolutely loved it. We will be back!!
This my second time there and we received the same excellent service and food as during our first visit. The bacon wrapped scallops, calamari and my chicken parm was delicious and portions are big. Prices are alittle in the higher side but we understand restaurants have higher costs and we were happy to pay alittle extra for awesome food and excellent service.
We were attending a theater performance down the street after dinner. Traffic conditions made us 20 minutes late to our reservation. Our waitress was great and understanding we needed to leave a little more quickly than a leisurely dinner would allow, she made sure to get our order in quickly. I had the meat lasagna which was delicious. We had also forgotten to bring a bottle of wine, but they have bottles you can buy there, and we found an enjoyable red. What seemed to be tasty fresh-baked bread cut and in a basket was presented shortly after we sat down. We would love to go back and try other dishes.
This restaurant was highly recommended, My husband it was quiet expensive. It was just plain ordinary. Nothing special. It was a Sunday evening and only 1 waiter and busboy on. They were running around because it was busy.
Server was very busy but food came out fairly quickly and was very good. Would return !
I consider Myself to be a foodie! I do go out to dinner often and I always love to enjoy new places. I have to say my visit was extremely disappointing. I would love to tell you that our waitress was awesome. The part that I’m having a huge problem wiz is that out of the three salads we got we ordered two Caesars. Now I know that restaurants usually will charge a small charge but this establishment charge seven dollars a piece. Now I’m not cheap by far but I totally feel that the salad was not worth seven dollars. When asked to speak to the manager I was told that there was nothing they could do because she did not have access to take anything off of our bill. So this is where I’m having a problem if I ordered a meal and was completely dissatisfied or even found some thing that did not belong in my mail with this manager not be able to rectify my check? The food was on the same lines of Olive Garden was not satisfied at all
Another fabulous dinner and service with Luis! We try.. we really do..to try different dishes, and this time, I did. Veal Piccata for me and my husband always has the clams with linguine. He absolutely loves! The veal piccata was absolutely delicious! I am a critic. I make it often at home, but with chicken. Our appetizer was our usual, the Drunken mussels. Dipping that bread in the sauce is a real treat! I could drink it!! Dessert was a shared tiramisu. Great date night! A bit noisy due to 2 larger parties but it felt good to be somewhere, even though we were tucked in at our window table, to see people enjoying themselves. It has become a favorite place for us. Luis, our server, is always welcoming and friendly and so competent. The other staff are always warm and accommodating. We love it there! Thanks to all at Mannino’s Cucina!
Terrific Italian restaurant. The food and service was outs standing.
The main courses and appetizers were very good. Ordered 3 cappucinos at end of meal and only 1 of the 3 was hot, the other two were room temp. Sent the two cold ones back and only one of the next two were even warm. Sent one of those back and asked to have it removed from bill. The restaurant was not exceptionally busy but we had to wave to the waitress to request additional bread and water. We have eaten here a number of times before but were disappointed since this dining experience was not close to our previous experiences at Manninos.
Good food, but overpriced. Large open room, but empty
Everything was delicious from start to finish and the service was great!!! Highly recommend this place!!!
Great place to have a leisurely lunch before the Pitman Theater Sunday matinee.
The caesar salad with grilled shrimp was excellent, as were the filet eggrolls. The small cannolis for dessert were an unexpected treat. Will definitely be eating here again!
Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The owner waited our table most of the night cause they were short on staff and was there for anything we needed. Can’t wait to go back.
Our first visit to Manninos. The service was spotty, had to ask for bread while other tables had gotten theirs. The food was fair, too much cheese! And overpriced. Disappointing!
The food was very good. The service was just about the worse I have ever had. We had a 6:30 reservation which the owner walked us half way and said that's your table over there. We sat foe 30 minutes before anyone even spoke to us outside of a young lady bringing a bottle of water. Our waitess finally came over at 7:00 and said I didn't know u were my table and said "this place sucks" she never said hi or her name and then basically said what do u want. We had to go to the front and ask about wine in which we were told go to your table and I'll come over by the owner. I know it's busy and short staffed so if they would have just apologized for the wait and were kind it would have need ok but the basically ignored us and drooped the food at the table.
Restaurant is clean & nice. Service is very good. We had a reservation and seated immediately. Food is average, enjoyable, but extremely overpriced. Covid has affected supply chains but entree dishes are priced about $10 over what they should be. What a shame. Left with a feeling of being taken advantage. I probably won’t return.
Our first time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The owner was walking around the restaurant, striking up conversation, and making sure every person that was dining was happy.
The ambiance was romantic and the food came out HOT & DELICIOUS! I will definitely be going again.
We were visiting our Grandson who attends Rowen. New to the area we made a reservation with no expectations. The food was WONDERFUL.. The taste was authentic (I might say Sicilian).
Apparently a new computerized system was recently installed and having issues which delayed our food. The owner and server keep us informed. We were in no rush so the delay was a non issue. The owner (wish i asked his name) did comp us dessert.
Its a "Go Back" for us and will recommend to others.
Service was extremely poor. We were there, seated and ordered and 90 minutes later we still did not get our main course. The server was not helpful in moving the food along when we asked and was not honest in telling us what the delay was. We were there to have dinner before a show which we would have missed because of the long wait. In the end we left for the show without ever getting our main course. We were very disappointed and WILL NOT go there again.
We always have a delicious meal and Luis or server is perfect.
Great restaurant! Awesome food!
This was our first visit. Will definitely go back. Went with another couple. We all enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was the best. Five plus stars😊
Awesome food great service!!
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
Outstanding! Food, service atmosphere.... great place!
Service & Food were great! I felt the prices were too high! Chicken Marsala was $30 and pretty small portions. Something comparable another place would be $22. They didn’t have capellini or spaghetti pasta which surprised me because all other pasta choices were on the heavy side. There weren’t many people there and rather loud. My server was excellent!!
WOW. I can’t believe I missed this place what a gem my wife and I started off with the Sicilian antipasto loaded with cheeses, meats , olives and peppers with a very nice balsamic dressing For entrees we had the ravioli Bolognese and the veal Osso buco both entrees were excellent. You’d be hard pressed to find better dishes anywhere Vito the owner was always around sharing pleasantries with everyone. Defiantly a 5 stars we’re going back next week to try the fra diabilo
Dinner and wine were delicious! Great menu choices! Vito (the owner) checked on our table more than once even though the restaurant was busy!
