Really enjoyed Maoz. It’s small, busy (inevitable on a warm night, with tables outside on Old Compton street) and food was great. Staff were fab too. Definitely recommend.

The food was good and reasonably priced. When we ate there was quite a hot day so the door to the restaurant was propped open to aid air flow. However, as it's on a busy street in Soho every now and again a scooter would park up outside with their engine running by the open door and the restaurant would be filled with the smell of exhaust fumes. I totally get that it's more inviting to have a restaurant door open when it's warm outside, but this has put me off making a return visit, at least until the weather cools down.

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is stunning, both the starters and mains were great. Cocktails wow, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit.

Good if not amazing for the price. Friendly service. Table had to be cleaned when we were there (and we were a few mins late!). Rough and ready and don't regret going. Probably wouldn't go back though.

Really nice soho restaurant very close to the theatres. Great food and the waiter was a lot of fun and made it a good experience. Only disappointment is that there is no fish and more thought needs to be given to a vegetarian main. Meat skewers v good!

The server was atrocious. Got an order wrong and then said my son said the wrong word (platter instead of bowl or something). She didn’t offer to fix it. Then didn’t put in our drink order. When asked, said it was on the way. Half way through our meal I had to ask for water because we never got our drinks. No apology. Nothing comped. Full tip. Boo

Had a fabulous after show meal, we were celebrating a birthday. From arriving we were very well attended to and the staff were really friendly. Food was great, really tasty and big portions. Atmosphere was really buzzy. Restaurant itself is pretty basic but clean and every table taken which I thought was a good sign. They even brought out a slice of birthday cake with a candle on and sang happy birthday which we hadn't asked for but was a lovely touch. Really sweet and attentive waitress, I think her name was Lisia. Would definitely go back again.

Outstanding service!!! The co-owner who was serving was very passionate and dedicated about his place. So nice to have this especially in such a central location. If this was local to me, I’d be in regularly. Quality of food was exceptional as there is a lot of badly done Middle Eastern food available at present, this is a welcome exception. Guacamole is not Middle Eastern but it was on the menu with its own twist. The grilled lamb skewers and chips were of a very high quality, the owner was very proud that it comes from Pembrokeshire lamb which is known for its high quality, and it shows, very tender and naturally tasty. The Falafal Board looked fun. Great quantity and quality. Highly recommended.
