First time visit. Very good pizza and Stromboli for lunch. Service was very hood. Drinks were refilled without having to ask. It was a bit busy. May need more wait staff but it is covid.

Marcello's food is always consistently fantastic! The service is impeccable! If you're around Bordentown, I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Food and specialty cocktails are always on point and Saturday night did not disappoint. Great job maintaining Covid protocols. The beer list, however, really needs some attention. Very poor, limited selection if you are not into IPAs.

Good experience ruined by bad service. We were greeted by a server only to wait 15 more minutes for another server to come out and restart the experience- not a big deal at the time.
The meal started as normal apps and salads came out, all were delicious - It is Marcello's and that is the expectation. When it was time for main courses one chicken dish came out before the pizzas, my son was able to eat the entire meal as we were told 3 or 4 times that our pizzas were just finishing up. So the pizzas finally came out about 20 minutes after the chicken. Again all the food was delicious as normal for Marcello's.
This is where things got uncomfortable. The server asked for our dessert order. One of my sons is a Nutella fiend and had his heart set on the Nutella cheesecake dessert - its awesome. The server took the our coffee and dessert order and left. The server came back 5 mins later and informed us he couldn't serve us dessert because we were at the max time at our table.
I am a flexible guy and the pandemic has changed everything, so for me to get ruffled takes a blatant lack of service. In this case there are so many ways to make this right. We were at max time at our table through no fault of our own and that was clear to the server and anyone who watched. Dinners were not presented at he same time which is a basic requirement. A simple offer to buy the one Nutella dessert and bring it out to the car as we waited would have been a simple solution to a less than perfect dinner experience. Instead we were very matter of factly told that time is up and pay your check.
In the end I will be back to Marcello's, it is a local jewel and I don't know what I would do without the Diablo pizza (and all the whiskey cocktails are on point) but basic customer service needs to be maintained even in a pandemic.

Our waiter,Kelvin, was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Carbonara is superb. Wines by the bottle prices too high is my only complaint.

Our server was awesome. Michael P was very personable and attentive.

The salmon tartare was fresh tasteful and the right portion. The burger with bacon caramelized onions and cheese was juicy best meat ever perfection. Enjoyed the leftover ½ of burger for breakfast the next morning. Negroni was good too!

The pizza was amazing and great ambience!

Excellent vibe, excellent food and a great waiter. With reservations, we did have to wait a few minutes to be seated while tables were finishing/being cleared off and service from the bar was a little slow. Our meals out at different times. Nothing that would set the rating back too far considering they’re doing their best with covid restrictions.

Our server Debra was excellent and the food was delicious, fresh, and the drinks were great. We will be back.

We love the food from the app’s, to pizza, to the homemade pastas! Only one suggestion bring back the homemade RED WINE RIGATONI please!!

Everything was excellent: food, service, ambiance. Perfect NYE meal; couldn’t ask for a better night and the freshest pasta we have even eaten. Will definitely go back again; have to have the pizza next time!

Hand-crafted Cocktails were amazing and they had such a unique selection! I would return for the cocktails alone. Appetizers were good but the entrees were a bit small for the price and lacked the flavor I was expecting at such a nice establishment. Entree prices were a bit high for lunch.

Everything was good but please turn the heat up. It was a little cool inside.

The food was excellent as it has been the several times we've been here. The service was not good. We were seated quickly but seemingly abandoned. I understand that with the CCP Virus the prices necessarily increase to account for reduced capacity but why can't I order a full size pizza?

Always a great meal. Excellent food, Inventive and generous drinks, attentive service, nice atmosphere. In warm weather when they open the roof it is amazing. Although we live 45 mins away, anytime we are near we stop at Marcellos.

Had clams and lingui just soso. Taste was sour. Pasta was really cooked great. Wouldnt order again. Girlfriend had lobster ravioli said was real good so 1 for 2.

Delicious homemade pastas with interesting fillings and sauces. Wonderful bread.

Warm welcome from hostess. Seated at great table at bar. Ordered Pasta Carbonara. Best Carbonara we've ever had. House made pasta and fresh egg on top. Delicious. Great bread too.
Talked to manager Eric who was informative and friendly. They sell wonderfully priced house made pasta for $5 a pound. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. My only complaint, which I brought up with Eric, is that wine by the bottle is too expensive. Otherwise, we can't wait to return.

We come from an hour away several times a year because we love this place so much...
It never disappoints! Everyone we have brought or sent here always have nothing but excellent compliments as well.

Sat by the bar. Staff was very attentive and at times entertaining! Food was delicious. Restaurant was beautiful. Loved the lighting and ambience. We had a great date night.

We had great coal fired pizza, that were absolutely delicious! Our server went above and beyond making sure all was good with our experience. Definitely returning!

The food was well prepared and fresh. Outdoor seating during the virus was comfortable and felt safe. Our waitress went out of her way to make the experience great.

This place is awesome- we go here all of the time!
Now, word to the wise- it’s getting cold out folks- so be prepared to be sitting outside or under the open roof.
Don’t complain- you want to eat here because the food is stupid good.
Put a sweater on- order a drink and relax. Oh and get the Diablo pizza.

Usually love this place. We know the virus has really hurt some businesses but this was not that. Food today was below sub par . No taste. Poor presentation. It was not crowded so it was not because of that. Very slow service. But the drinks were amazing!

They have a good menu but food is just ok, this was my third time dining there I can’t say that I’ve had anything great, we go there more out of convenience I guess. Service was decent.

Food was delicious but service not so good. Waiter walked passed the bar where our drinks were sitting 3 times and never served them to us. I had to ask the bartender if I could get the drinks myself which he said was fine and apologized. Never got bread before our meal and seems like they don’t serve a salad with your meal anymore or we just didn’t get that either. Portions were small for price, my 11 year old cleared his plate and was still hungry. Charged $3.50 for “dirt” in martini as an extra. When questioned about the $3.50 we were told it was just how they rang up martinis. Then people were sat next to us with a dog... inside... and our waiter proceeded to pet the dog while still waiting on our table. Since when are dogs allowed to dine in indoor restaurants?!?!? Super disappointed.
