Muy buena atención y riquísima la comida. Muy buen lugar y el barrio es muy lindo.
We had a wonderful experience at Margaux. The food was absolutely delicious. The sizes of the servings were perfect. We loved the wine that we chose to go with our meal. The service was impeccable. Thank you to Margaux for an extremely enjoyable evening - one of the best since we have come to London.
This was our first time to Margaux. The food was excellent and the atmosphere just right. We hope to return.
Brilliant food made even better by the wonderful customer service. Couldn’t ask for better. Will be back again and again.
The food in this neighborhood gem is consistently delicious and the service friendly and efficient. It can be a bit loud if there are lots if people.
Great service, good atmosphere, very pleasant meal
Food & Service was good overall a bit pricey.
Great food and service but let down by one of the deserts - the Mille Feuille which was poorly executed. However the waiter removed this from the bill which, for me, is a sign of excellent customer service!
Visiting London from California. Great spot and service. Hidden gem. Will go back again.
Very happy to have found this place. The quality of the food is very high standard. We had three starters to share and one main, all to share in two - it was the perfect amount to feel satisfied. I highly recommend the yellowtail carpaccio. Very good job chef and staff!
This is a great spot for dinner near Earl's Court. Nice selection of wine, lovely menu, and quiet which is unusual these days. We had excellent service and were very pleased.
Margaux does not look particularly inviting from outside! However inside, it is interesting with black and white photos on the walls and unusual lighting.
Thoroughly enjoyed mid-week lunch at Margaux. We all chose to eat from the set menu £29 for two courses. The food was excellent - good presentation, delicious flavours only disappointment was the tart tatin which was undercooked for one of the guests. Good wine list and we shared a bottle of 'Musar'. The service was excellent but so it should be as we were the only table in the restaurant. I understand that it is extremely popular in the evenings which would improve the overall ambience.
We all agreed it was an excellent find and we would definitely return - perhaps of an evening.
Excellent value for money,
Second visit to this superbly run wonderfully authentic french restaurant. You simply must go and dine here! Cozy upstairs (there's a nice space downstairs as well, but I think being upstairs is best) and great welcome by the three guys running the front, Giulio, Greg and Mo. Authentic but creative is the way to describe the menu, (website menu same as on site, and that's a plus) with a variety of starters varying from seafood, to salads and foie gras, which was excellent, and accompanied by a suggested Sauternes by the glass - a great start! First visit I had a superb veal main but this time a equally wonderful Kingfish main. Expert attention to detail, superb front staff and an authenticity not often seen in a neighborhood bistro. Having been in the business, i appreciated all of this and could not recommend this wonderful spot enough, and can't wait to return! Well done.
The service was excellent, food was made with love, ambience casual and cosy and wine list superb! A perfect experience in every way!
The food here is devine. A gem for London!!! Price to quality ratio is excellent! Service is impecable, with lovely, descreat and helpful staff. Great attention to detail. Plus i love the decor here. I make sure to go to this place everytime i am in London. Ps: the foie gras and the fillet are to die for!
A really good table if you're really after what's in your plate. Very fresh ingredients , herbs and sauce perfectly balanced with the right mix between a mainly French base with Japanese flavours around the fork. Worth a detour...
Food and service are good.
Not cheap, beware of extras: half a bottle of fizzy water costs 5 £...
nice local French restaurant/ we enjoyed our meal. no complaints. It was a normal good meal with nice atmosphere - but food was nothing very special- but it was good. Staff was friendly
Nice atmosphere, good and creative food, good selection of wine, and friendly service. A great neighbourhood place in Chelsea.
Excellent food, pleasant ambiance and nice staff.
I would definitely recommend.
We had visited this restaurant a couple of times before, and the food was really lovely as always, with adjustment for allergy concerns where necessary for 1 of the party on this occasion. Where this place falls down is the service.... I’m all for a leisurely meal, but my goodness, it took 3 hours to be served 2 courses. When we arrived, the staff were very slow to take any sort of drinks order, and actually only asked what we wanted to drink at time of ordering food....we had been in restaurant about 15 minutes at that point. Not great. The server also had an unfortunate habit of looking like some things were too much trouble, eg when we had to advise of allergies for 1 of the party & asked what the options were for this person (I had also mentioned the allergies in my booking, but it was clear no one had taken any notice of this). That said, all food served was excellent & this place has a lovely ambiance. If the service was more attentive, it would be perfect!
The food was amazing, the service was great and staff was so friendly which is usually missing in high end restaurants these days.
Just the seating area is a bit uncomfortable as some tables upstairs are so tight.
We loved the wine list and the appetizers. We shared a fabulous grilled octopus that was one of the best preparations ever! We also enjoyed a wonderful squid ink Pasta. The main course of sea bass was nice but only average... not spectacular!
Very good and a pleasant surprise
Great service and delicious food! Especially the chocolate bomb!
Just very fine food, smart service and a comfortable space
Great food, wine and service
Delicious starters both yellow fin tuna carpaccio and tuna tartare. High hopes for main dish both good (king fish and scallops) but as outstanding as main. Great atmosphere and great service.
We enjoyed an excellent octopus appetiser and the entrees of Kingfish and Halibut . Very pleasant atmosphere and attentive service!
Really good quality food. Friendly service. Cosy, lovely atmosphere.. a gem in South Kenz.
Everything was prefect apart from the size of the portions which can be too small for some dishes. Had same impression at Bandol the sister restaurant.
Really great food and recommendations from the staff. It's worth the splurge in this place.
The food is brilliant and we had fantastic service. A great place to catch up with friends or go on a date
Food is average, price is not. There is a good selection of wines, but if you drink by the glass you are never too sure of what you are drinking as they do not bring the bottle to the table. Some of the wines were disappointing .
The service is very friendly and the ambiance is good and informal.
Whilst the restaurant was much busier than we had seen on previous occasions and thus the service was more disappointing, the food quality and presentation remains consistently impressive.
Waiter too friendly.
And very unprofessional on so many level.
The place is very nice and cosy, service is great. The main course we choose were very good & refined.
Ambience and decor were lovely. Appetizer and main dish were very flavorful. Bread and butter should be included with your meal as is customary in a French restaurant. Unfortunately there is a charge for it, and worse, you place red peppercorns on the butter. Decoratively it looks nice but is entirely unnecessary and negatively alters the flavor of butter. The tarte tatin was very disappointing: crust not moist, and the chocolate chips are out of place and do not complement the flavors of the tarte. In my opinion, these additions, although maybe well intended, actually detract from what a customer knows and expects.
Always great food..
