Excellent service and the food was just amazing. Second time at Margot and it’s still an exceptional experience.
Margot’s cuisine was fabulous!! The staff was engaging, delightful and knowledgeable on the large wine list. We had the homemade Pappardelle with Wild Boar and Ossobuco - Delicious!!
The Margot Chocolate Mousse was beautiful and favorable!!
Loved the fact that we weren't rushed, it was along leisurely lunch, 2 old friends catching up. The lamb ragu special was delicious. The staff were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend.
Absolutely fabulous! One of my favourites in Covent Garden.
TOp class Italian, wonderful food and some great service. Modern decor, and service and great dishes, very recognisably Italian.
Great food and great service
Amazing food, drinks and service. Atmosphere was also very nice. Loved it.
The convenience for the theatre was perfect and the food was tasty, but a little overpriced. The table was a bit cramped. The wine selection was extensive, but again, a bit overpriced.
Amazing food, great location. Definitely will be coming back
First visit, would certainly recommend this lovely Restaurant and visit again
Cozy and lovely service. Works for all kind of occasions.
This is a lovely restaurant and the food we managed to eat was delicious. Unfortunately, despite telling a staff member when we arrived that we had a theatre booking after the meal, this did not seem to get passed on. We ordered the pre-theatre menu, so I would expect this to be quicker, but unfortunately our starter took 45 mins to arrive and our main course still hadn't arrived 5 minutes before we needed to leave. I told our server that unfortunately we had to go and our meals were put on the table as we were getting up to go. I managed two bites of my main course which was beautiful but was unable to have any more due to timing. Staff did seem genuinely regretful about our experience and we were only charged for our starters and drinks. I would go back - as it seems like a charming restaurant - but only if I had 3 hours to spare.
Lovely restaurant with a great wine list, oh yeah, the food was great as well. Most of the staff are Italians, and have great suggestions
I love Margot great food and lovely decoration one of my favourites.
We will be back
We had a fantastic evening at the Margots. The food and the service were amazing.
Very quiet at 5:30pm on a Monday but the service was exceptional and the food was fabulous
Service was accommodating and impeccable. We had a late reservation but you never would’ve known it. Food was authentic and delicious.
Classy, beautiful restaurant with excellent service and great ambiance. The vegetable risotto was to die for, and I was pleased to find a Riesling by the glass. The only downside to me was the scarcity of vegetarian dishes on the menu (the risotto was the only one), and it is the only improvement I would suggest.
I ordered the Hake with potatoes and my partner had the Tuna with Kale sides. All the food was just alright except the potatoes that were very hard and dry. These were taken off the final bill which I appreciated. The best part of this restaurant experience is really the atmosphere upstairs. However, we were originally sat downstairs even though upstairs was prety much empty (I would not like to speculate why we were sat downstairs). We enquired as to why this was and eventually were sat upstairs. At the end of the meal, we wanted to order dessert but waited ages for anyone to come over so just got the bill, paid and left. Do not think I will be frequenting this establishment again.
Lovely restaurant with attentive staff. A little bit pricey hence the 4 stars.
Just perfect, food is fantastic👍🏼
Fantastic food and great staff. Defo going back 👍
Great restaurant, food was spot on, service was great (gave service 4 stars as they forgot to bring us a side salad) but as an overall experience can’t really fault it. Classic Italian food cooked and presented brilliantly.
Lovely restaurant, one of my favourites.
Had dinner before a show-service was very prompt & the food was delicious!
Beautiful restaurant with excellent service and even better food. The ingredients are fresh and the cooking is wonderful. Recommend the burrata to start and the osso buco as a main. Really good.
Warm engaging g service. The food and wine were excellent. It was a perfect pre-show dinner
Another excellent meal at this lovely Italian restaurant . The food was great , lovely homemade pasta and a great wine list but be careful its not in price order and there are some £500+ wines next door to £30 bottles . Service was excellent and smooth which was good as we needed to be out in time for the theatre . looking forward to comming back soon
Excellent food served by amicable waitress in a thoroughly good ambience
Excellent food, wine and service. We sat in the corner after the theatre and it was very cosy. Despite being nearly empty the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. The crab ravioli was to die for and the monkfish was an excellent mesh of flavours. It is at the higher end of the budget and they don’t over plate so we will go again for a special occasion and plan a few courses.
It is quiet, nice décoration and confortable chairs. Large choice of food, wines and cocktails. Service is careful. To be recommended !
We had lunch in Margot and opted for a set menu. The food was generally good. I would prefer to have more meat and less oil in the rabbit salad. Risotto was very good with delicate flavours. The restaurant was half empty and the waiters were not that busy, so the service was very good. We enjoyed our lunch. Although it is relatively expensive, drinks in particular.
Excellent service and delicious food! Lovely decor.
Great as always. I just wish then environment felt more like Italy.
Great food, very relaxed, superb presentation and attentive service.
Delicious food, nothing too unusual but classic ingredients and combinations well executed. Very attentive and friendly staff.
An accomplished venue perfectly placed for theatre and business. Slightly charmless, but efficient service keeps it all ticking over. If we were to return then I'd forego the starters and desert, indulging merely in some of the best pasta and risotto in town. Other than the draw of the pasta on offer, you'll find me round the corner at Barrafina or The Delaunay.
It was ok nothing extraordinary or something to remember... quite expensive
Very friendly, attentive and great food.
Had a great time with our friends
Great, but didn’t like being downstairs. Booked weeks in advance on OpenTable, so upstairs would have been available; will phone direct to restaurant next time.
