Maroush Vere Street
Really tasty food and waitress was helpful with food choices and howe to order as we had not been before.
I will not recommend and not use anymore opentable app as our booking was not received by the restaurant. Hopefully for us they managed to prepare a table for us - we were 2 - even if the restaurant was fully booked.
Nice food, presentation could have been better and drinks a little overpriced. Wasn’t too loud and cramped
I went on a Saturday night but there was only one other table that had people. The singer was deafening and the belly dancer was mediocre. A huge contrast to the atmosphere it had last year which was loads of people, good singer and great belly dancer.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I have eaten here on multiple occasions over the years and am constantly impressed at the excellent food and great service. Everyone I have recommended it to have always enjoyed it too. A huge, varied range of dishes on offer and the vegetarian in our party had plenty of choice too. Absolutely delicious food and great value for money. Win, win! If you haven’t been then you need to.
Family staple. Great food.
Very friendly staff and very accommodating when we wanted to move to a bigger table.
I love all the maroush restaurants, just wish there was one nearer home x
We made a reservation online, but when we arrived, they said, that they got no reservation, is acceptable because this can happen. But then they behave really unfriendly when asking us for a table.
We waited for 20 min for first order. then ordered the first course, and we said we wanna order second course afterwards. They only brought us one of the starters and forgot others (we thought that hot starters need more time) after 40 min of neither bringing us, food, asking if everything is ok, nor observing us in any other way, we asked them what is going on...
The service was just awful, bad communication between staff, unfriendly responses and missing language capabilities
First time to this restaurant. We tried the fixed menu which was a very good value meal for the quality of the food served here. The service was outstanding too.
Staff were friendly and food was excellent!
The food was amazing!! I was already inlove with the place after the starters arrived. There were 4 of us for a 6pm booking on Friday & when we arrived it was super busy but within about an hr it was packed (in a good way). Unfortunately we left before the live music and belly dancing but would definitely recommend this place if you like athentic food ( which came out pretty quick despite the business)
The food is nice, the service is slow.
Great belly dancer, friendly staff
Great dining experience the entertainment was great
Pleasant and convenient venue just off Oxford Street. Good food and warm friendly service
Nice Lebanese food but it could be better. The ambience is just about ok. The staff is extremely courteous
We enjoyed the lively ambience and the tasty fresh food. Sadly, the main courses did not arrive at the same time. It was only when one of the dishes had been served that we were informed that there would be a delay in being served the second dish. Our server did apologise. We were inconvenienced by the delay and the pace of the meal was not smooth as a result. We did nonetheless appreciate that when we paid the bill we were given a discount to compensate for the delay. We thought the gesture was appropriate and very professional.
Really great food & service!!
Good food, excellent service, not the cheapest but worth it for what we had
Great restaurant with lovely staff whomare always very accommodating, and the food is divine and consistently good quality!
Food was great however they were not aware of my booking....
I enjoyed the Lebanese delicious foods with my Japanese guest. Unfortunately, our sheet did not reserved, but we were outfitted some sheet.
When I booked the table I asked not to be placed close to the door. Surprise, surprise our table was just in front of the door. First they didn't want to change our table but after a while the manager came and she seated us up stairs. When we ordered our menu I told our waitress that we need to go at 19:00 . Five minutes to seven our main course was still missing. They apologised and said it was served to another table. We had to leave without our main course.Huge disappointment .I would not recommend the restaurant .
Service doesn't listen to your order, and this only comes to light when what you asked for doesn't arrive. Food no better than a local takeaway , not what it used to be I'm afraid
EXCELLENT FOOD AT A REASONABLE PRICE AND ONLY 30M NORTH OF OXFORD STREET
Best baba ghanoush and grilled halloumi in town. Garlic sauce used for chicken is excellent. Chicken shish taouk sometimes dried out. Felafel is good (but not as good as it used to be). Their bread used to be excellent but needs upgrading.
The food was bland and the service incredibly slow. From receiving the wrong drink to orders being completely forgotten.
Good experience as always although find it a tad bit expensive
Food not good
Nice meal, with good service - restaurant felt very busy - we were seated upstairs and walked through a very busy main room.
Lovely mezze starters and good main courses.
Always consistently good food and service. Good value for the quality that this restaurant offers.
My friend and I dined at Maroush Vere St last Saturday - we had a fabulous evening. The food was delicious with huge variety and lots of vegetarian options. The staff were delightful and very accommodating, not least when I presented an OpenTable cheque which I had been awarded and had pre-advised them of. Unfortunately, owing to some coding issue, they were unable to use it against the overall value of our meal but they insisted on honouring the £35 discount. That's what I call professionalism and keeping the customer happy - they had no duty to give us the discount as they could not use the cheque. Manager and Team at Maroush, thank you for a great evening - we will return!
Okay lunch or snack, nothing more.
Great food. Good service. Great value. Nice, relaxed, family friendly atmosphere.
I was in London on business trip, I have been to Maroush before, I was dreaming of repeating the very memorable first experience. The atmosphere is great, a relaxed blend of cultures and ages (from 1 to 90). The service was great, not intrusive, always friendly always prompt. The entrees and mains were exceptional - definitely at the upper end of great Lebanese food.
Staff were slow and couldn't understand much English, food was bit dry and tasteless
Maroush is nice for quick Lebanese lunch. The food is tasty. Service needs to be better.
very soft chicken cubes! amazing houmous!
