Good quality ingredients. One of the better sushi spots in the Niagara region
Our server Monica was amazing, super talkative and more than willing to help us enjoy our experience with them. When she found out it was my girlfriend’s birthday she brought her a dessert on the house! Otherwise the food was a bit pricey but definitely worth it - it was delicious. Would definitely come back next time we’re in the region and I would highly recommend to those deciding on a place to eat in Niagara-on-the-lake.
Best sushi in the region by a long shot. Staff are all so wonderfully kind and welcoming. The quality of the fish is unmatched.
Their service and food is still the best. It a like having dinner in Japan. The flavour of their Sashimi dinner is incomparable to any sushi place with regards to its freshness and taste. It’s a six star Japanese restaurant in my rating.
My friends and I, who are all big eaters, ordered multiple items off of the menu to share and found the portions to be good for the price. Experience was fantastic, best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan, service was great. Menu was the perfect size, just enough variety while not seeming overwhelming.
This was my second time back to Masaki because the food was so great the first time. Second time did not disappoint.
Undeniably still the best Japanese Restaurant in the Niagara region. No one beats their oysters. Service is always prompt and the food is always done very well in presentation and flavours. That’s why we always come back.
The sushi was amazingly fresh! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. The chiefs and staff there were very sweet. I plan on coming again during our next visit it was THAT good!
Lovely place with excellent food and service.
Enjoyed every visit.
The food was very fresh. The presentation was very appealing. The atmosphere, is very nicely lighted. The service was excellent, we took our time to enjoy each dish. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to both family and friends, at a 5 star rating with affordable prices.
Lovely place with excellent food and service.
Enjoyed every visit.
Fairly small and intimate restaurant. Open-style kitchen. Delicious food and great service. Highly recommended.
One of us was vegetarian and your staff were very helpful in determining what she could eat. The vegetable rolls and the tofu soup were extremely delicious.
I'd recommend making reservations in advance. We were seated promptly and the food was exquisite and presented beautifully.
Outstanding food with great service.
Price is very reasonable
A wonderful place to have a chill relaxing lunch
Worth driving all the way from downtown Toronto !
Nice decor and ambiance. Good food.
An amazing array of flavors in every item from the Smokey black tea to the thick flavorful miso soup to the beautiful sushi roll. With sushi every where now it’s sometimes easy to forget what sushi prepared with skill and high quality ingredients can taste like!
Great experience. Service was exceptional. Food is amazing! Lots to choose from!! Restaurant very clean and comfortable. Will be back many times!
Great sushi!!! Aburi sushi is a must. Freshness, delicacy and great service!!!
Best sushi in region!
Never give me a disappointment!
The best sushi! So fresh!
The service was great. It was beautiful and very clean. The food was very good but not the very very best I’ve ever had when it comes to sushi. What could have made it better would be a salad with ginger and miso soup offered rather than a fee or up the price of the sushi to cover it. I don’t expect it free but as part of a meal. The lobster miso was not very good. The rolls and the steak rice bowl we had was fantastic. The service as I said was top notch. One other odd thing the water that was served was luke warm. No ice? I thought that too could be better. I would go back and I would take friends.
Please try their omakase. It is worth it! Good portion and delicious food :)
Absolutely amazing service and food. The Miso cod was a bit "mushy" for me but maybe that was intended but the pot stickers, otosan and salmon maki rolls were fantastic! Cant wait to go back
good food but prices were kinda high considering the quality wasn't amazing
Delicious & fresh! Great sashimi! Great service! Can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu!
A memorable meal. Can’t wait to go back.
The food and service is amazing . One of the best sushi restaurants in Ontario
Beautiful, bright tones on the sashimi. Textures on the raw fish were firm and clean. The bluefin tuna belly was a gorgeous, melt-on-your-tongue experience. Presentation was delightful! Done with precision and with an obvious emphasis on seasonality, asymmetry, colour and open space on the plate that is pleasing to the eye.
Service was attentive and deeply appreciative without being cloying. The mixed sake-based cocktails were very refreshing.
Just a truly special experience!
It was a quiet dinner, just as I wanted. The service was excellent as was the food. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it so much that we decided we should do it again
A gem of a Japanese restaurant in Niagara on the Lake. As it is in the lower level of the Moffat Hotel, I had walked by it many times on the way to the Shaw, but had never stopped in. Mea Culpa! When I finally did, I could have kicked myself for not doing it sooner. As good as my two favourites, Masayuki in Burlington and Mye in Oakville. Treat yourself to some excellent Japanese cuisine...
Loved the Sushi and Sashimi! Excellent. It was our first time there. We love sushi and read good things about this place. It was much better than what we were used to. Will definetely go there again.
Overall high quality food!
The food at Masaki was delicious and the service was great. They also made us feel extra special by treating us to a special anniversary dessert.
It would be good if they decrease the lighting just a touch as the place is very bright for a dinner. food is amazing!
Yoshi looked after us expertly and with good humor.
Our three course meals were the best sushi and sashimi we've ever had, and beautifully presented.
A superb dining experience!
