Excellent value for money, fresh and just as ordered
Disappointing disappointing there was no bubbles as stated on arrival when we finally got seated at our table we were given a paper plate with some muck on it we still don’t know what they were meant to be and after waiting over an hour and half the starters came and that’s when we got up and walked out we weren’t going to pay for that rubbish they destroyed our xmas
The table was booked for 6 o'clock so it wasn't very busy, hence can't really comment on the ambience. The service was quick & attentive & we enjoyed our meals. We will be back.
Staff not welcoming and happy not great customer service . Didn’t ask if everything was ok with meal etc
Plates toook away without asking if we’re finished.
Food overall nice .
Food was very disappointing. I appreciate supplies are difficult to get at the minute but if not available should be taken off the menu.
We had a mixed grill each but all we had on it was a piece of steak, chicken and bacon rashers. But steak had to be returned twice and still it wasn’t cooked to the requested level.
But I’m sorry to say but the over all quality of food was greasy, unevenly cooked and cheap quality.
We had a lovely warm welcome from the staff, service was prompt and the food was top quality Pub grub. It's a great place to go for a meal or just a drink. Loved the Halloween decorations, a lot of effort went into them.
1st time at the Mason Arms for us.
The staff were very welcoming, the pub was clean and well furbished.
Food was varied good quality and reasonably priced. Would definitely book again
Was a bit disappointed with the sunday lunch after all the hype from the Pubs own website & the fact that was recommended to book to secure a table, in fact only one other table was taken. We had previously enjoyed a takeaway roast in lockdown from here which was way better.
I would not recommend people going here. Food was terrible, service was terrible and the waitresses shouting about having to stay on was not pleasant. Was standing at the door for 3/4 minutes while the waitress was eating food behind the bar. We had booked a table and she outright said to us she hadn’t checked and we felt very uncomfortable. It was also my birthday which made it worse. The whole ordeal was just poor and half the food on the menu they didn’t have. At the end me and my partner were rushing to get out. I wish I had the courage to complain but I hope this gets read and things change. New management, chefs and waitresses are definitely needed. Worst place I’ve been and left half the food at it was not edible.
Very friendly staff and very helpful, also very nice food
The Sunday roasts are lovely, eat in or take out, always far too much for us! We love the chicken strips and Stilton burger as well. I would also like to say they follow the covid rules strictly and always feel very safe there.
Friendly, welcoming, great service and lovely food.
Whilst we had a good time and the measure that have been put in place were good, was spoilt a little by another customer and member of staff having a shouting match at kicking out time
Kitchen staff were very loud - could be heard over the music in the dining area. Not very welcoming and didn’t seem to want to help (had to ask for menus and how to order). Wouldn’t visit again.
Good food and plenty of it. Good value aswell. Seem to have a good handle on covid precautions.
Nice and warm welcome - roaring fire in middle of pub. Food served quickly, lasagne was great. Merlot wine fabolous.
Staff were friendly and attended to our needs
Food was amazing
We had a lovely meal at the Masons Arms Frome. We had never been here before and was very pleased with the service. The meal was delicious and the staff we very helpful . The atmosphere was just right . We are four ladies who meet once a month for lunch and we try different places. I would definitely tell all my friends and family about the Masons Arms and we will definitely come again. Thankyou .
Sunday lunch was lovely and also desert and starter just need to sort out timing. Had to wait along time in between courses even though it was quite
Food was great. They need more staff though, only one staff doing everything, luckily it wasnt that busy. Very friendly. Will go again.
Mia was incredible and very welcoming to us. We travelled from Essex and stayed near by in a hotel. Nothing was too much to ask her she was so lovely. She made so much effort with our son too who finds restaurants tricky. Food was wonderful, quick service, great value and friendly. The ambience was great apart from one man who kept swearing knowing we were seated on the next table...these things happen I guess. Highly recommended.
Nice pub, excellent customer service. Good value for money. We will return.
Awful experience. Poor service, poor quality of good. Would not recommend
Great food which was a good price. Watched the rugby, perfect. Friendly staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is superb and the pub atmosphere is spot on.
Brilliant food - steak cooked just as we wanted it - lady waitress really nice and friendly - had a super anniversary meal there thank you
Zero customer service. Didn't get asked if we wanted sweet or coffee would have stayed longer and spent more if someone had bothered asking. Shame as otherwise ok value for money.
