The food is always the best I've ever had. The level of service from making last minute reservation, flexibility in seating, to creating something special not on the menu is unparalleled. What amazed me the most this last time in is the additional procedures enacted to ensure everyone's health. The team runs flawlessly regardless of circumstances. My favorite place in the world.

Our server, Ryan, was amazing!! Besides that, portions weren’t filling but tasted ok. My salmon came out cold, but had nice flavor.

We go for Restaurant Week (Dine Out Boston week). Three course diner for around $38. Best buy in Boston for a great meal. Linen table cloth, linen napkin, attentive and knowledgeable servers. This visit we had bone-in Pork Chop, Filet Mignon, with sides of Mac and Cheese and creamed Spinach. All were Just Right!

This was an amazing dinner as part of Boston Restaurant Week. Our server, Brandy, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about items on the menu. Her recommendations, from drinks to dessert, were all enjoyed immensely!

Where do i begin? called & was confirmed valet was available at 4, it wasn't, pkg lots not opened till 5 and meters were only till 4, had to drive around for 30 minutes to finally get a later meter and the 2 cars of us stood there with 30 minutes and no where to go, not familiar with the area and 2 basically handicapped in the group, thank God for Strega. Now 5 ladies shake off the pkg mishap & anxiously go to dinner, very excited as we have been looking forward to it. 4 ladies did Dine Out menu, I did not, no big deal - didn't care for the entrees, I started with Oysters Rock, not sure what I got but when I loosened the oyster and topping off the huge bowl of salt (gross) it came off like a piece of plastic, like it was prepared hours/days ago, I order this all the time and I should not have been able to break a window if I threw it, (now I know why I spent the next day on the toilet) then on to the Mastro's Wedge but first 4 us of us had to go outside and swap pkg spaces and pay the meter again- don't recall a mashed egg would be included, no big deal but u would think there were be a Wedge with bacon sprinkled on top, right? I got a plate of cut up yellow lettuce drenched in dressing with about a pound of raw bacon, I am not kidding, raw bacon. The server asked me if there was something wrong & I pointed to the bacon, she immediately got me another one - not much better, it wasn't soup so why did I need a spoon to eat a salad. 2 ladies got the pork chop, it was so well done (ordered medium) she couldn't cut it - she sawed it, then her replacement was basically raw - she didn't send it back again she ate around it. We are all moms and cook/serve our family but even we know not to clear plates & items while the guests are eating - we were interrupted so many times by staff we could not continue a conversation. My part time job is in Fine Dining & as a server I never would have let that unacceptable food touch my table. Alisha as a server was great .

Went during Boston’s Dine Out week (aka restaurant week). The service was great! The food, outside of the half chicken, was delicious. Butter cake was amazing.

The food was impeccable, as was the service. You can really tell the difference with a fine dining experience. Our waiter Arthur was personable, friendly, and attentive. We went during Dine Out Boston and the only con to the experience was that it was not specified that the entree was a la carte so you will inevitably spend more than what you bargained for to have a full meal. The side orders we had were so delicious though that we didn't mind too much!

Went during restaurant week so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Waited 25 min to sit when we had a reservation. Service was inconsistent - may have been training her, but expected better.

our server Marc was amazing. He got me the right wine that fits my flavor profile. Me and my gf got into a small argument but our mood was lifted my Marc’s engagement. Will come back and recommend people.
