Our meals were amazing, staff were very attentive. Great place
The staff were all lovely and accommodating.
The food was delicious and generous (though the mousse for dessert was too sweet for our tastes!).
The beer tasting was fun and enjoyable.
Ambience was a little lacking (may have been because it was a Sunday night) and the style of the venue was a little more dated than I was anticipating, but it didn’t retract from the quality of service provided.
Food was passable, but nothing more and was especially expensive for what it was, for example $30 for a big breakfast which felt like something anyone could cook at home from their kitchen. We attended for breakfast and were very disappointed. The ambiance was depressing (e.g. the restaurant is aging and old, the music was dull). We stayed at the Hunter Valley resort, so went there for breakfast as it was attached to the resort. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else for breakfast.
food was excellent, service was a little lacking on attentiveness but staff were otherwise very nice. Victor in particular was very helpful and lovely!
Was only option of a two course meal rather than one which was a little odd but the food was worth it though! my partner and I split a starter and a dessert to get the best of everything!
ambience/setting was simple but noting bad per say.
Great people, great service, nice setting and the food was absolutely delicious. So much flavour in every meal we had. We'll be back.
No complaints from our table of 7 regarding the food we had for lunch - empty plates all round.
Lovely place, great food and staff. Definitely will recommend.
The food was amazing, we had the sticky chicken strips and pumpkin tart for starters which were just next level good, and then the gnocchi and pork sirloin for mains and they were really tasty. The service was quick efficient and super friendly ...all round good experience.
Beers were great, ordering system needs to be improved, especially since ordering using your phone without contact is still being well used here.
It's hard to customise your meal there is no alternative options my girlfriend could not remove mushrooms and capsicum from her meal so she didn't enjoy it but I enjoyed my meal.
Other than that it was great
The restaurant was perfect for our small family celebration. Seating outside us perfect t for a relaxed atmosphere
It was our anniversary weekend & wS very disappointed in our accommodation & food
Friendly staffs. Only thing that we didn’t like was our food was not cooked to our liking, the lamb and salmon was bit raw for us.
Restaurant sat a couple next to three large groups, so we had to shout at each other to be heard, despite smaller tables away from the large groups. I ordered the pumpkin tart.. expecting a pumpkin tart. I got a seriously over-salted bed of crushed walnuts with some under-seasoned pieces of pumpkin sitting on top, smothered in lettuce leaves. The best part of the meal was the baked onion. Definitely won't be back.
Staff were amazing! Food was amazing. Service was quick. Was clean
Food was good however waited a while and noticed other people who ordered after us were getting their meals before us which annoyed us.
Interesting but limited menu.
Would like to have seen more variety in entree & mains.
Very hospitable and great food! Absolute value for money :)
We had our Valentines Day dinner with our dog and it was the best food we've ever had, so delicious, great service, awesome dessert cocktails, great staff, can't fault it!!
Awkward halting service, menu more exciting than its execution, was empty when just about everywhere else was booked solid.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and beer.
Great pizzas- fresh & tasty! Lovely outdoor dining venue.
For such beautiful food, it would be nice to have cracked pepper available as opposed to standard black table pepper. However overall a lovely restaurant and great staff.
Lovely food and cocktails, fast service even though it was very busy. Fun happy staff
Booked a table online, called to confirm it was out of the rain, arrived, told the table was in the rain and there was nothing they could do. Poor customer service. No attempt to explain the situation.
Personally, I don’t like gnocchi, salmon, pork or Lamb but had to order something to make up the money I was spending. An entree and a desert would have been way over priced for our liking.
Was told minimum order was 2 courses, take it or leave it, so we left. Ordered a cold pizza for pick up later. Service was non existent, until we went for breakfast, which was very good. Will never go back for dinner. Speaking on behalf of others in my group as well.
Meals were quite basic for the price and the gnocchi tasted re heated instead of fresh. The cocktails were served in soda glasses and very over priced. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and the liquid dessert was delicious- a great idea too.
Everyone and everything was lovely. The food and cocktails were good
Great venue, food was very good, service was great, we went at quite time of the year (February) highly recommend.
Good food. Great service. Reasonable price. Good place to eat
Food was top class. Well presented and luscious. Variety was limited though.
Great place to relax, and casual eat and drink Will be back and bring kids for day out.
Cocktails were the best I've had and the food was also great. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Each and every item was burnt. Worst breakfast I ever had. Even the bread was burnt.
Ordered a salad and asked for chicken to be added, but did not come with the meal. The server was really nice however, a went and got some chicken for me when I mentioned it. The bar area is nice, but the bistro was quite dated, empty and lacked any specifically atmosphere you find so often in the hunter valley. There wasn’t particularly anything wrong, it just wasn’t memorable at all. In future, would likely only come for the beer paddle and eat somewhere else.
All started out well with the young man who showed us to the table then it went down hill. The food was nothing special. The wine glass was very dirty and I had to return it to get another. The bar man had to sift through about 5 glasses before he found a clean one. The restaurant is very dated and needs a freshen up. Wont be returning.
Really poor experience, ended up walking out. No one came to offer drinks (other than water on arrival) no one came to talk through menu or take our order....so after waiting 45 mins we left and they were no busy. When we left, told the guy at the counter, just shrugged his shoulders...zero care, disappointing as have eaten there a few years ago and it was fine.
My wife asked for two entres, one as an entres and one as a main meal. Out came three entrees.
After I watched my wife eat her "main meal" they can and asked how we liked our entrees, we repeated that one was supposed to be a main meal so he the asked me if i would like my main meal.
I said since I had just watched my wife eat her main I may as well make her watch me. I then also asked for a beer with my main meal.
My beer turned up when i had one or two mouthfuls of my main meal left.
We then waited for a dessert for over 20minutes, finally telling them we didn't want it any more.
Then when we tried to pay they hadn't input the meals into the register and had to ask us to confirm what we ate.
Whoever owns this place should think about hiring some adults to look after the the teens who they have hired to work there.
The place is covid safe and the staff are very helpful. Price is very reasonable
Lunch and Beer was really good. But was very disappointed with the breakfast. We ordered two Green egg and the mashed Avocado wasn't fresh at all. Tasted like it was in the refrigerator for few days. Very stale!!!.
