Horrible ! Food was good but we didn’t manage to enjoy this. The waiters was rude , we came late night so she wanted to leave and you could see that. Took them ages to serve us. The biggest issue was a guy next to a table insulting a woman very loud.. nobody in the restaurant did anything until it was too late. He push the girl and throw the table on her and leave. We where sitting next and the water and food spilled on our table. Worse part is that we didn’t get any attention from the waiter to clean our table and to see if we where OK. I was eating the main course. Order the bill , pay and left. They don’t even ask what happen. Worse service i ever had in my life
Although dining at the Maze Gordon Ramsay was an enjoyable experience overall, the devil was in the fine details, which just didn't fit a restaurant that once held a Michelin star. I was with a party of 3, having the "Taste of Winter" menu, and while the food was good, only a few dishes were as outstanding as you would expect from the venue. On one hand it's a shame that the restaurant is closing down, but on the other hand I can't but look forward to a new, refreshed establishment.

Phenomenal food with exceptional service, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the tasting menu did not disappoint.
Food took 3 hours to arrive, and it was mediocre/poor quality and taste. Had to wait 30 min initially to get a table. Not anywhere near worth the price

Food was delicious as would be expected. Appreciate that you are paying for the skill and expertise of the kitchen but didn't feel the 7 course tasting menu was good value. We had an opportunity to try different things and the tastes were amazing but still very expensive for what we had.
Went for lunch to celebrate brothers 27th birthday. Restaurant was quite due to planned renovations, however food and service remained outstanding. Will be next year 😊

The restaurant ambience is very ordinary. Was noisy and the service was just about OK. Was willing to not be let down by all this, thinking the food would make up for it all... but.... what a disappointment. Below average! We sent back a dish as is... it was that bad. A real dampener of our New Year’s Eve!

Below expectations, was better before. Freezing cold room meant we couldn’t wait to leave. Food was average, too much competition these days from good restaurants to charge such a premium for what sticks n sushi does better

This place was such a disappointment. I’ve been to several of Gordon Ramsey’s other restaurants so I know what to compare it to. This place wasn’t worth the money. Very expensive. Wait staff was French and Italian and had difficulty communicating with us. Food service was incredibly slow. Sushi was not fresh. Only thing that tasted good was the beef skewers.

Nice restaurant. Set menu was not enough food and ended up supplementing with al a cart dishes which made the bill a lot more dear.
Me and my wife went for xmas lunch for the first time at the maze and probably the last. As we were very disappointed with the way the waiting staff treated us as soon as we said we didn’t want water but they literally asked us about 4 different times as it seemed they were trying to push us to buy . I had just one glass of champagne as my wife doesn’t drink I thought they will give me hers and they were also disappointed when I said I’ll have just 1 glass of red wine with my main course as I was driving . So we strongly believe and felt that we were neglected as they couldn’t maximise their sales rather than our satisfaction. We also noticed across another table they were given 8pcs of prawns for starters but we were given just 4 and one plate for the same menu. I also noticed our main waiting staff basically whispering about us to his colleague. Especially as we spent over £360 we felt like we were treated different as we didn’t order extra alcohol and water. we actually go to many well known and top end restaurants. As this was our Xmas lunch we felt like 2nd rate customers and hope Gordon Ramsay should fix this as he may lose more potential regular customers like us. It was definitely not value for money especially the service.

Food and service was great. We went for the chef's 7 course menu. All of them very tasty and different.
Would go back anytime, thinking of it, already have... if you want to play it safe, go there. cannot go wrong
Disappointing evening. Set menu was fine for three of us, and kids menu for 10 year old. Our older daughter was served our 1st course by accident. She enjoyed the salmon, but we didn’t realize until we were in our 4th course that she was served our first course. My cocktail was never asked to be refreshed - yes just served 1 this evening and no mention of adding another. Asked three people to please take my credit card - the fourth obliged. To close as I started, a very disappointing evening.

We were put on the Chefs Table and had the most fantastic evening. Couldn’t get over how calm and efficient the kitchen was. Highlight for me wasbseein Jockey Petrie in action.
Everything was wonderful except the food was no where near worth the money.
Second time I have tried the set lunch deal here, very much enjoyed it. Menu was exactly the same as the last time we dined there. Like the first time the service is a bit chaotic especially with the number of different menus that they do. What seems like a good deal actually mounts up when you add the very expensive side dishes at a tenner. However the food is very delicious especially the doughnuts with Yuzu sauce.
We had a lovely cocktail in the bar, which was fun. Sadly, the food didn’t live up to expectations and was horrifically expensive. We had high hopes with it being a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. However, both of us were rather under-wowed. I hate complaining, but to pay £43 tip on top of £347 bill for two, seemed excessive. Some of the meat was tough and inedible and so we did say something to the waitress. They were helpful and reduced our bill by a reasonable amount. I’m sure that Ramsey is a great chef and that most of his food is great. However, I think he should leave Japanese food to the Japanese. It is possible to eat considerably better for at least half the price.

I hate to write this review when I was so excited about what I was going to be experiencing at my evening at Maze, especially as I have experienced Gordon's other restaurants and have been wowed. The restaurant itself is lovely, the atmosphere great and on the whole the staff were very attentive and friendly.
We chose the winter taster menu, which was two courses for £19 and three for £23 (I think). To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. There was a choice of 3 dishes for each course which was fine, but when you ordered they say it is tapas style? Surely tapas is a collection of different dishes and if it's tapas style why is there a choice of starters, mains and dessert?
Our starters were delicious, but very small, our mains were awful and again VERY small, two of us ordered the aubergine with miso and spring onions, which in fairness was exactly that, half an aubergine, with a think layer of miso paste and a few spring onions on top, totally inedible due to the saltiness of the miso, we sent it back and had the Soba noodles with asparagus (didn't notice that) and cucumber. Bland is the only way I can describe it. I hate going places where I know I can cook better myself and still feel hungry when you have finished! We did complain and they tried to pull the situation back, which was really appreciated, but the dishes they gave us were hit and miss as regards flavour, the fish being the best dish of the evening. The word to sum up the food we ate is bland.
I don't know if Gordon is still involved in this establishment, but perhaps he should take a break from filming kitchen nightmares and actually see what is coming out of his own place!
Another wonderful meal at Maze. Brought a friend to this restaurant who hadn’t been before. He was stunned at the food and drinks. The service is superb. Right from enjoying a cocktail in the bar to the faultless service throughout our meal. I have been to Maze many times and my friend could see why. Highly Recommended.
