Ordered Filet dry aged steak and a Rumpsteak
Both were burnt and over cooked. Had asked for Medium.
Money was refunded and we received an apology for the poor cooking quality.

Ordered a brownie with cremefrech.
Brownie was dry and tasted very old.

We gave up on the cooking and food quality issues.

Over rated for quality. Better Grill Resturant’s available in London.

Was for my girlfriend’s birthday, ordered a Veal and a steak. Was not the best, not that it is bad, but it just did not meet our expectations. The ambience though is nice, and even gave us a complimentary birthday brownie to end the night.

Really good value - cheap as chips, maybe cheaper, for breakfast for 2! Service good but they kept dropping things, bringing other people’s food and generally felt untrained.
I’d go again because of location and cost but no other reason.

The £70 per person for Sunday roast wasn't unreasonable. The vegetables were however mediocre. If the quality of service matched the quality of food, I would be back again. Sadly I was very conscious of the fact that a bad waiter can destroy all the work that goes into creating a fabulous restaurant. Our waiter was inattentive, uninterested, and was not properly trained on how to serve or clear a table - which is surprising considering this was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

My second visit to the restaurant. First time for lunch I was impressed by the service and quality of the food. I came back on a Wednesday evening for a client dinner and was underwhelmed by the service. The waiter, although pleasant, was covering more tables than practical. Ordering our meals took a long time and we had to ask for service a few times for clearing up the table or asking for missing items. The setting is great, maybe best for meeting with friends or a date, but I wont be returning. With so many options in the area for quality fine dining, some improvements need to be made on staffing levels.

I was excited to go to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant especially since we were staying at that hotel.
We were seated right by the entrance which I did not care for. The first thing we noticed is that they charge you 2 pounds/person for a facility charge???? Don't understand what that is for!
My kids and I were really excited to order the sushi. I was not impressed. The fish was very fresh but the rice was not great. I've been to much better sushi restaurants for a fraction of the cost. When you spend 25 pounds for a sushi platter (which included only 6 pieces) you expect it to be sensational. It was not.

Overall it was a very expensive and disappointing meal. luckily my son didn't notice. It was his birthday and none of the staff said happy birthday.
The meals were cooked badly
i had buffalo chicken which was fried so hard you couldn't put put a fork through it. the amount grease from the chicken batter covered the kale which was then inedible. the sauces were charged at £250 extra and were from a BOTTLE not made in kitchen. Rank!!
the tomato and onion salad was soft and had been made at least the day before. it had no dressing on it either.
my wife order rare sirloin and for £28 it should have came with at least some sort of side. IT CAME WELL DONE!!!! and we had to watch our food go cold waiting for another one. very POOR!!!
Our COATS were wet from the walk to the restaurant and the reception put them tightly in a cupboard were they got worse and the rain had soaked right through them by the time we finished. POOR ACTIONS.
The whole cost us £135 for 3 POOR meals. Shocking Experience and big dent in the wallet.
Very unhappy
I Would like a refund GORDON, Not a voucher!!!

Listen up foodies with expectations. Get ready to be disappointed. The food quality is not acceptable. It's not about the price or the menu; it's just bad. It's amateur night in Mayfair. For Gordon Ramsey to endorse this establishment, I elected a level of culinary product well above a fast food chain. I actually thought that I was either on a surprise show or a disaster episode of Hell's Kitchen (without the yelling and cursing). So sad.

Great place for business dinner. Food was just delicious and worth the price. Exceptional service. Small thing I was not happy about was seating. I explicitly asked when I did booking for quiet place because this was a business dinner. We got table just next to the entrance and I found it distracting to see people getting in/out all the time.

Friendly service, excellent meat and World class cocktails. The ambience is cosy on the slightly too dim side but we had a lovely night. The famous Eton mess dessert was not our favorit, far too much meringue and too little cream made it dry and very sticky to chew. The creme brulee was too brulee with the cream warm under the caramelised sugar. Just for fun we also ordered the Drunk in Kentucky dessert cocktail, and that was beyond delicious so we had to have another. The wine recommended by the waiter was perfect for the meat.

The decor was much as expected and the service was excellent. But, for an expensive restaurant which promotes it's steaks it failed to orovide a medium cooked sirloin - it was overcooked. Very disappointing.

I had taken my parents out for dinner as they had escorted me to hospital that evening and it’s not somewhere they would usually go so as a treat I thought why not, arriving it looked lovely and staff where very polite and helpful, starters came out mine was extremely over cooked, my dads was awful, my mums wasn’t too bad oh and the bread was so stale I’m not exaggerating I couldn’t cut through it so the starters where a fail, main course was wagyu steak cooked to perfection and sides where over cooked (chips) the mash I can’t fault it was delicious although my mums wagyu was very fatty cut but just bad luck I suppose and she is always too kind to ever say something bless her although at £80 per steak I wish she would, dessert we asked it the pancakes (shrove Tuesday) where American or English and they assured us English style so we all ordered and out came three batches of American style cold pancakes haha needless to say I wouldn’t go back as nice as the steak was the starters and dessert where so bad it has put me off completely unfortunately and I was so embarrassed as it was a very special occasion I think my parents where embarrassed for me when they had a glimpse of the four hundred pounds bill also.

The restaurant itself was ok but I found the food was overly pricey for what it was. Im used to paying to premium for nice food but this food definitely didn’t justify the price tag. Also disappointed by the £4 charge added to the bill which was explained to be because of the fluctuating food prices not being passed onto the customer, which seems backward to then charge you for that. The service was friendly but very slow. Overall a disappointing experience.

Well, I went with really high expectations, after all it was the first time I was going to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. But we all were so very disappointed! My mushroom was drenched in butter, as I absolutely love butter but it was just too much. The flat iron meat was so tough, the excuse was that this is meat is like that, but well I've eaten at Flat Iron restaurant and it was the best meat I've ever eaten and a lot cheaper , so poor excuse from Maze Grill.

The RUDEST manager refusing us the January menu due to some bizarre booking policy which isn’t even mentioned on the website. Dangled the Jan menus in front of us whilst he made me search for the booking on my phone then he took then menus away as he told me ‘I didn’t have the correct online booking’. Petty, rude. We left. Avoid.

The service was not amazing. I felt we were forgotten about. We were not offered the drinks menu until about 40 mins aftet we had sat down and even then I had to ask for the menu. The meal was average. I had the half lobster. For a Gordon Ramsey place I had high expectations but was highly disappointed. It was just bland. My partners meal was not cooked as ordered (He had beef fillet). We asked for this to be changed and cooked as he asked which they did in the end but meant that we did not get to eat together. What they should have offered is to take both meals back and serve both dishes together. That would have been more professional and acceptable. I was surprised you get charged £2 per person to sit at the restaurant. This is very cheeky and greedy considering they also charge service charge on top.

We casually booked this 5mins before walking in.

Atmosphere is great however the steak was very average and béarnaise sauce lacked flavour.

I'm a big food critique, so picky. If you are looking for environment go here, but if you are looking for good steak go to a specialised steakhouse.

This was for a birthday treat for my 15year old son who is a big fan of Gordon Ramsay. I let them know in advance and all the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful on arrival and throughout the meal. So the staff were all wonderful. No complaints there.
Our sushi and pork cheek lollipop starters were wonderful as was the dry aged sirloin one of my sons ordered. However the rib eye was far too fatty and the chateaubriand which we ordered medium rare arrived chargrilled on the very outside but completely rare otherwise. It had far too much salt on the outer crust and seemed tough for a chateaubriand. It had been sliced in the kitchen and not at the table as is often done in other places so we didn’t want to send the whole thing back as we’d have all been eating at different times. Disappointing for an £80 cut of beef and almost £400 meal for 2 kids and two adults.
The staff were great and brought my son a birthday brownie with a lovely message in chocolate writing. Only the food really let us down. Which I’d be lying to say warranted the price tag, despite the Ramsay tag.
Thanks to everyone there for their kindness but I feel I have to leave a completely honest review here.

Visited on New Years Eve, and it was nice to find a restaurant serving their normal menu and not putting on a special seven course expensive option. My wife and I both had fillet steak and it was lovely, chunky chips nice and chunky wasn’t keen on the cabbage covered in blue cheese sauce which wasn’t stated on the menu. The only disappointment was the desserts, we both had cheesecake which was dry and uninspiring not sure if as much time was invested in the desserts as the meat.
