Maze Grill Mayfair Ratings and Reviews
Great Place, staff was accommodating to every degree. We allowed our waiter to help pick a myriad of steaks and cuts to allow us to have a true steak sampler platter. They were all great in their own way. All the sides were delicious as well. A very pleasant evening with wonderful food and great service.
Sunday lunch at the Maze. Excellent offer of Roast with unlimited vegetables. The beef was cooked to perfection and quality and taste superb. The Yorkshire pudding was simply best. Vegetables perfectly cooked . We had a glass of lovely champagne to start our meal and the house red wine was excellent and great value. The a la carte starters and deserts looked amazing and delicious. However the Roast filled us up and we could not eat anything more. We finished with coffee (which came with biscuits). We also had an excellent glass of prosecco at the bar. The service was excellent . The seating in restaurant and bar is very good, spacious and comfortable. There was a lovely buzzy feeling in the bar and restaurant noise was perfect . Highly recommend and will be back
Pre-theatre meal. Lovely waiter got talking to us about what we were going to see, very friendly and made sure we got the bill promptly so we weren’t late. Food was delicious as always. Octopus carpaccio for starter was light and fresh, steak for main was cooked to perfection and the pair of us shared a baked cheesecake desert which was delightful.
Great place, amazing food, excellent staff. Extremely reasonable prices for the quality and the service you get. Compared to this, any other meat / grill place I’ve been feels like a robbery. From the starter to the dessert everything’s an experience and everything well prepared.
Maze did not fail to impress. The service was very attentive, although I think we were served by every person in the restaurant, rather than one specific waiter/waitress! The food was delicious, we ate off the set menu which was very good value. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms side was lovely. Adding wine to the meal made it a rather expensive lunch, but I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.
My second time at the maze grill. After the average first experience I have to say I was impressed this time. The food was really good although you could expect a bit more since the restaurant is a gordon ramsey restaurant but what really made the difference was the service. Our waiter (I believe his name is Kashim thats what it says on the check) was outstanding!! Not only his service and recommendations but he also offered me and my girlfriend another table so we could sit next to each other. Working in the same industry I know what I am talking about when I say this was a perfect performance! Thank you very much for that! And also many thanks to the somilier who helped us out with the zweigelt! Keep it up we will return!
Was a little tough to find was not aware inside the Marriot. The staff was very friendly and the food was outstanding. Our server Russell even got us a tour of the kitchen. Dinner was set at an excellent pace and all dishes were cooked perfectly. Would like to go back and try other side of restaurant that specializes in sushi and Asian cuisine. Had high expectations being a GR restaurant and was not disappointed.
We've decided to do Sunday roast every Sunday. I love Ramsey's restaurants so we tried maze. The beef, carrots, turnips, cabbage and greens were amazing. The potatoes were yummy. The Yorkshire pudding and sauce for the monkey bread were a bit burnt tasting. I'd still go back though. The service was wonderful. Ooh! And the sexy Aphrodite was really yummy!
Amazing meal from maze grill. We both ordered steak and it was cooked flawlessly, I seriously almost cried. The wine was phenomenal. The wine specialist helped pick the perfect wine to compliment the meal. Expect to spend some money, but it is worth every penny.
