Gordon Ramsay maze Grill Park Walk is a restaurant inspired by the grill rooms of Manhattan, but with a distinctly British take. Offering rare-breed perfectly-aged prime steaks from fillet to rib-eye and triple-seared wagyu as well as expertly made-to-order sushi and sashimi from the raw bar. A selection of small plates are also available as starters or to share, and use only the freshest ingredients.

We went in on our recent trip to London. The restaurant says it is smart casual, were very disappointed to see people walk in after us wearing sweat pants and t-shirts and then get seated. That is not "smart" casual. We also did not care for the dog that was sitting in the restaurant for the duration of our stay that was barking and making the restaurant uninviting.

The meal, we ordered the famous Beef Wellington to share. The amount of potatoes and sauce that came with the wellington were small and less than 1 adult serving. As for the wellington, it was many different degrees of cooked from well done to rare. The puff pastry was also over done and the mushroom mixture was over packed as well. The cook on the puff and the wellington suggest that the item was cooked at a temperature that is above the recommended item. Considering this is an item that Chef Ramsey is famous for, one would expect that the chefs he employs would know how to cook it

We ordered two starters. My wife ordered the soup and I ordered the chili garlic prawns. The soup was good. I would not call the salad shrimp I received in my starter prawns. While my dish was good, it was oversold as something it was not.

The price of drinks were in line with what we paid at other London establishments. So no complaints there. When we were finished, we had to ask multiple times for the check and the service staff took their time. I would not consider the restaurant to be busy at the time we were there. In the hour we were there maybe 6 tables had guests including ours.

Overall we spent over 130 GBP for a meal that was sub-par and the staff never came by asking if our meal was acceptable. Very disappointed overall and would not recommend anyone taking the time to visit this establishment.

Appetizers were not very creative. Octopus was the best. Onion rings had too much batter. Buffalo Chicken was bland, and blue cheese was awful. Steak was just okay but given the price we were expecting more. Sides were adequate. After dinner, our wait staff forgot about us in a not very crowded restaurant. We had to ask for dessert menus. Then it took 30 minutes to get dessert. Another 10 minutes for a cappuccino. Fortunately, the dessert was comped due to the service. Very disappointing. We had better meals at the other four restaurants we dined at during our London stay. Gordon should work on his own Kitchen Nightmares before others.

I come to London every week from Boston, and have been to a number of restaurants in Kensington and Chelsea. This was my first time to Maze Park Walk. The entire experience was outstanding and I look forward to returning soon.

Friendly welcoming staff, good food and a pleasant ambience but the Muzak is unspeakable. It’s a 50 year olds idea of what 20 year olds are listening to whilst not noticing that most of the customers are 40 plus.

Bitterly disappointed today - we tend to order the Sunday roast - one of the highlights normally being the trio of vegetable sides normally beautifully cooked and presented which accompany the roast in cast iron little pots.
BUT not today - pitiful amount of veggies/small portion of roast - 4 baby carrots/spoonful of cabbage poorly presented served on the plate sitting under the Yorkshire pudding - we asked the waiter will the veggies be coming and to our surprise he pointed out it was under the Yorkshire pudding - not sure if this is the new standard - if so definitely back to Hawksmoor for us!

We ate off the set seasonal menu, 2 courses for £16. The portion size was not large but the food was very tasty. However, no sides were served with theses dishes and charging £5:50 for side portions (chips) was disproportionate.
The service was friendly and efficient.

I had avoided this place because of a couple of bad reviews but decided to give it a try because I fancied a steak.
Service was fine steals was good as you would expect from a high end steak place. The chicken lime starter was to to die for.
I will go back

Well, it was Sunday so we should have expected the kids and the noise. But the set menu never appeared and the "Sunday roast" felt more like reasonable pub food than Gordon Ramsey. Pricey wine and patchy food. Disappointing.

It was lovely but the only thing was that we chose a salt block to share and there was no price on it (that cut was not on the menu) and it turned out to be more expensive than all the cuts shown on the menu). The meat was nice but not extraordinary and we ended up paying £126 for a cut that just fed 3 women without excess. Very attentive service though and simple but great wine list.

The food was as always, superb! However, on this occasion the service was really not up to par. At one point I even got up to ask if I could bring some soya myself. (we eat our sushi with Soya) As the waiter continously kept telling us to wait, that he will be right back. We were there to celebrate a birthday for a friend and could see that a celebration platter or similar was offered for free on the reciept but no such celebration geasture was ever shown. All in all a good night but the service was very close to spoiling the evening for us...

Bad smell in the restaurant. Meat fundamentally tasted bad in every way. No prep into the steaks at all. Worst steaks I think I've ever had.

Attended with my wife. The meal started off well. Until it came to the desert were they had forgotten to provide my desert. They then apologised and said they would bring me my desert. My wife had finished by the time my desert arrived, when my desert eventually arrived it was then the wrong desert.

Overall nice restaurant apart from the problem with the desert.
