We made reservations for 5PM and had an awesome dinner at McCormicks on March 27,2021. The service was beyond any expectations. Sorry, do not remember our servers name. We ordered 2 adult beverages/shrimp cocktail/2 salads and different seafood dishes. Very tasty and priced much less than expected for the view/delicious dinner we had from our table. Will return again in the summer and enjoy the same :)
Lovely bay views and food!!
We have been McCormick & Kuleto's patrons over the past two decades, and they have consistently provided excellent food and great service.
Good for both business and family meetings. Outstanding view.
It was exactly what I was looking for! Everything was perfect
I wanted to like this place, I really did. Nice location, good views. But my experience was very disappointing.
1) First, we reserved a table and requested a window seat, mentioning it was our 1st anniversary. When we got there, the host seated us in the middle of the restaurant. When I mentioned we had specifically requested a window seat, he unapologetically told me tough luck in more or less words.
2) We were determined not to let this get in the way of our evening. However, then it took the waitress approximately 30 minutes to come by and ask what we'd like to drink. She mentioned there had been a "mix-up" in who our server was. At this point, we were starting to get a little frustrated.
3) When we went to order, both the Oysters and the crab cakes were out for appetizers. So I decided to just get the grilled Salmon and my wife got the Dungeness Crab Cakes. Both were awful for the price, I've had better salmon at Red Robin. The waitress probably checked on us 2-3 times during the entire hour and a half we were there.
The place was a horrible and frustrating experience. The vibe seemed very stand offish and snotty. I'd never go back, and I almost never leave negative reviews.
Food was good as usual. Hard to get much ambience due to covid restrictions. Wait staff was short and did not seem to enjoy being there.
A perfect evening and a great birthday gift for a friend.
It was all wonderful!
its all about the experience.... started with disrespect. i was reading the menu and whoever brought the bread rude-fully placed the basket on the top of my menu, no it wasn’t flat but elevated like when you would read a book. no acknowledgment or apology.
frozen butter... wtf? a restaurant of this caliber should know better. always a peeve of mine..
i would have asked for some that wasn’t frozen and probably been ok but i didn’t see my waiter for a good 15-20 min. and when i did ask him for some that wasn’t frozen, he gave a look, not a yea, i know.. look.. but a are you serious? look... paused before answering and replied “ill try”.. eventually he did bring some that had been halfheartedly thawed. just unacceptable.
my girl and i both had the ribeye. both ordered medium. the food was overall very good. her cut was a little leaner than mine, not as much end fat, “which i prefer”. potatoes were a little on the dry side for me but she loved them. veggies were good.
getting bothered so we stack plates on the corner of the table.
beginning to see the pattern?
We had a lovely time. It had been a year since we ate in a restaurant. They made the experience comfortable. Besides the safety theater of temperature checks, required hand sanitizing upon entering, and use of digital menus, they also seat diners at every other table. And the fish (choose any) is still really good!
Food was delicious! Great View!
Awesome dining experience for us fleeing from lockdown fatigue. Felt very safe, and the food and service were fantastic. Thank you.
Food and service are outstanding! Thanks!
Very Elegant, high ceilings, beautiful decor...Lots of room between tables and booths. Delicious salad and entree, many tasty choices. Excellent wait staff, welcoming Mgr. Street parking fine.
Service was outstanding! Food was excellent and the view is to die for!
Beautiful setting and great service but at the end of the day this felt like a chain restaurant surrounded by vibrant local spots. The service was excellent as was the view.
the restaurant was closed and they didnt even bother canceling the reservation or letting us know what was happening. we drove for 2 hours to get there. ruined my anniversary.
Horrid service. Very inattentive. So disappointed.
The lobster bisque is great and the calamari & mussels are one of my favorites
Veterans Day promotion
Over priced food.
Great view and wonderful food. My wife enjoyed our dinner very much.
I amazing as usual. Never disappointed. We have been dining with this franchise around the world for years.
Restaurant has great location and views but tables were very plain with just white tablecloths and no candles, flowers or any inside decor. I realize Covid protocols may restrict it but the ambiance just wasn’t there. Perhaps lower the overhead lighting a bit would help. Food was okay. They offered same roasted potatoes and daily mixed vegetables on every plate so basically the only varietal was the type of meat to go with the potatoes and vegetables.
It started off rough with not getting the special table we had requested. And then took 15 minutes before we had to ask the hostess if we had a waiter as nobody made contact with us after being seated. The hostess ended up bringing water and ultimately our food. It appeared they were severely understaffed. It definitely was not the McCormick experience that I’m used to from across the country when I travel for business or pleasure. I’m not sure if we’ll be back. Love you was great.
We love McCormick.. but we missed the mashed Potatoes and choppino
Glad they're open again! Elegant always, high ceilings, views, delicious food. Great service.
Wonderful night out dining indoors with a beautiful view. Safety measures in place to keep diners socially distant and the food was delicious. Such a treat!
The ambiance and view was outstanding. Our server was kind and very attentive. The food was not great. We had an artichoke dip that was delicious, but that was it. I had the lobster dinner and they were very salty and it came with bell peppers on the side. Odd combination.
The service was excellent. The restaurant was only opened for two days since the SIP. Proper protective measures were taken, including masks and social distance. There were some hiccups because the restaurant was just opening after the shutdown.
Great view of the Bay and sunset. We were celebrating a birthday; the staff was very accommodating---they placed the cake topper and candles on the cake before presenting it. Anisthasia served our table with with quiet efficiency. The food was delicious and portioned appropriately. A great experience.
It was our 25th wedding anniversary. Wonderful evening at your restaurant . We were even surprised with printed menus for our special night. Food was fantastic !! We plan to return before heading home.
Great setting and views. Service and food was mediocre at best. Not recommended. We'll stick with north beach and embarcadero resturants in the future.
The crab tasted just like water no flavor to eat at all.
Food was awesome, great wine list. our waiter recommended fabulous appetizers, lobster and crab dips
Service wasn't great. The waitress was hot and cold when interacting with us. Maybe it is a cultural thing. She was from a different country. But she is here, maybe she should be nicer.
An amazing dinner with good service and great ambience.
Food was great. However the service wasn’t that great considering we were at the VIP table. Needs improvement in the service area...
