McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Edina
Great dinner with great service. Highly recommend the cheesecake too!
Excellent service, food exceptional. A bit expensive but well worth it.
I thought this was a high end restaurant but, the experience fell well short of the steakhouses in downtown Minneapolis.
De-licious! Had bourbon salmon and filet/shrimp-both excellent.
There was hardly anyone there probably due to off hours and virus.
I made reservations for a special birthday dinner for my wife. Normally, McCormick & Schmick's is excellent about acknowledging the event, but this time there was no awareness until I specifically mentioned it before dessert.
Also, we had to wait just over 20 minutes to get our table, which seems a bit long with reservations. I'll still go back, it just didn't seem quite as special as it normally is.
Excellent food and staff! Great meal, will be back!
For a $ 100 meal it feel way below expectations! would not recommend
Service was excellent (Ryan), food was great and putting our table of eight in the corner was fabulous!! Thanks for a memorable evening!!
Everything was great except the asparagus. I am disappointed when I eat at a place of this caliber and get woody asparagus. 2nd time it has happened here.
Great evening. My wife's birthday. Food was great as was the service.
Always a good meal at McCormick & Schmick’s
All was good except an entree of fish (walleye) that seemed fishy/old.
Oysters Rockefeller exceptional as was walleye cheeks, shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna, salads.
Appreciated the privacy of the booth and could even talk with those across from us in the booth as noise level was not so loud.
Our waiter was great!
We were there for lunch. Server pointed out the lunch plate menu. Was wonderful. Fresh Fish!! Followed by the most delicious desert. The Coconut Pie is only One of a kind!!! Unbelievably delicious!!! As was the creme brûlée.
Teenage grandsons absolutely loved and were able to exhibit appropriate behavior. Food was wonderful. Ambience was great totally worth the price.
We made a reservation for my husband's birthday. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all which was great. It was quiet. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Great food and lots of it. We throughly enjoyed our lunch! Thank you!
Server MICHELLE was very courteous and professional
Fabulous waitperson - attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing!
Food was quiet well prepared. Our server was excellent. Friendly and personable and knowledgeable of the menu. Great dinner experience.
Best king crab legs in town!
Food was excellent, service was great and although it was busy, the noise level was such that you could have a nice conversation at your table.
Anniversary. Fantastic food!
Very tasty. We over ate.
The food and service were outstanding
Quality of food seems to have deteriorated
Great rewards program. Clam Chowder and Shrimp Kisses were fantastic!
Very expensive for families though the food was incredible! We were seated in the bar...with a baby which was disappointing. Saturday night was, indeed, quite busy but we didn't even get to see the entire restaurant and no one acknowledged my son's birthday which was on the reservation. In fact, the host was obviously very busy but also not very friendly.
A couple walks into a bar. Wait. A restaurant. And the first thing the server does is sit them next to a huge party with kids. First, I don't think this is a place for small kids. Second, if I wanted to be around kids I would have stayed home with mine and not gone out for a $150 dinner. There were other, quieter, places in the restaurant we could have been.
We would go for a special occasion. Long drive otherwise
Excellent Service & Excellent Food period!
Nice spot for valentines dinner
We should have known not to come here on Valentine’s Day. We frequent this location quite a bit, but this Friday was too busy to keep up with the quality that we expect.
Our reservations were at 8:30 pm. We weren’t seated until 8:50 pm. My lemon drop martini was served in a rounded wide champagne or margarita sort of glass. They had run out of clean glass wear. It was disappointing and odd to drink from a glass that just didn’t provide its usual classy experience. I later ordered two more of the same martini. Our waitress was able to get the right martini glass for round #2 but said I should keep my dirty glass for the 3rd round, as she anticipated they wouldn’t have clean glass wear again and would serve it in a rounded short glass. This happened, so I poured by drink back into my dirty glass left on the table.
We ordered oysters, and they came without any little fork or utensil. We also didn’t have any lemon wedges. Again, the server said they were all duty and all out. We had to wait about 5 mins after they brought them to the table for a utensil. They also brought a little plate of lemons. We ordered the lobster strips and filet mignon. We got served a steak knife with the blue wedge salad but didn’t keep it. So when out steak came, we didn’t have a steak knife. Our server brought a butter knife and said it’s actually soft and probably didn’t need a steak knife. We muscled though the steak and lobster, and it just felt like we were eating at a below average restaurant trying to be fancy on a occasion day, but failing. When we left, there wasn’t a “thank you” or come again from the 3 people standing at the front desk. Everyone was tired and exhausted from a busy evening. I told my husband we will give M & S a good rest for a while, and hopefully try it again down the road. There are so many other great places nearby that I’d rather spend that kind of money at. It was a disappointing evening, and with that kind of a bill I just expect a little more.
I had an excellent dining experience, the food was wonderful. I can't wait to come back.
Very nice evening with friendly, attentive service by Ryan. Generous servings, hot, delicious entrees
Valentines Day. I made a Resv thru this app. They called me to make sure I was coming and then also emailed.. seemed a bit excessive...
Also, I looked online ahead of time as there are some food allergy issues and wanted to make sure there would be something I could eat. Imagine my surprise they had a Valentines Day menu for the day, they did not post online... there wasn’t a chicken entree menu item on the special Valentines Day menu.. I asked if they could make a chicken dinner option, was told no, only what was on the menu. So while my husband had a lovely dinner entree, the only way I could get chicken was in a salad..
Not sure we would go there again for Valentines Day, but might stop by on a bland nite...
Thought too we had asked for a booth and was seated in the middle of the room.
