The food was average at best. The service was okay. A manager needlessly came to our table to resolve an issue that was being handled by our waitress.
I order lobster... it came cold and over cooked... but our server saved the day ... Samantha - sweet and funny

Our server, Christopher, was fantastic - attentive without being intrusive, conversational, personable and efficient. Would definitely ask for him again. The food was excellent, tasty, prepared just right, presented well and plentiful. Really enjoyed the sourdough bread.

Newer wait person not friendly and had a no care attitude until I spoke with Manager, service very slow, wine took forever to get to table and then was served incorrectly. Not a good experience this time.
The receptionist and greeters were very nice. The wait staff was excellent. The food was good. Our waiter was very prompt in. Helping me find another entree when they ran out of the lobster tails. (It was 6:30 pm) we loved out waiter. The fish I ordered was very well prepared and delicious. The desserts were the same old same old. I don’t think we will be back.
Realizing it was Christmas Day, we knew it would be busy. Even with a reservation we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Our table was directly in front of the kitchen and the noise from the kitchen made it difficult to hold a conversation. At least we had a table. The wait person appeared inexperienced. Questions about wines could not be answered. At the suggestion of the wait person we placed our drink, appetizer, and dinner orders. Drinks came fairly quickly but it was a long wait for appetizers. The wait person told us that there was a wait for the crab cake appetizer to come up. After more waiting our entrees were served by what appeared to be a manager. He was surprised to find out that we never got our appetizers. We told him to forget them. (By the way one of the entrees was crab cakes) The food itself was mediocre, not very warm for being next to the kitchen. All in all we had a place to sit and food to eat. It had been quite awhile since I had dined at M&S and I thought they were better than this.
The restaurant was crazy busy!!! Understaffed for the huge crowd. Once we realized how long it took to get cocktails and oysters, we immediately ordered bottle of wine and dinner. The bread was hot and very tasty. The seafood was perfectly cooked and delicious!
Don’t get me wrong, love McCormick & Schmick’s but our waitress was awful! When she first came to our table she did not great us or give us a speal but just stood there staring at us! I had to take the initiative to ask if she wanted our drink orders. We waited forever for drinks and water!! Our meals were very slow as well. The only real thing she did say was My pleasure when we thanked her for pouring more water!!
Food was fabulous and would have been a perfect dinner if we had had a waitress with any personality at all
Just got home from dinner at the Reston M&Sand must say how disappointed I was in the service. 15 minutes seated before we were greeted by wait staff. 20 minutes after order for beverages taken had to ask for them to be brought to us. Not once but three times had to ask for more water. Was told bred was coming out of the oven...30 minutes later had to ask if it would be coming soon. My sister ordered the scallops. First she asked for the tomato pesto would/could be on the side. Wait staff came back to say they would take it off the plate. Re-asked for it to be on the side. Came out without. Had to ask them to bring. And the scallops were tepid at best. I ordered the crab cakes and asked if I could replace the orzo since I don't eat pasta could be replaced with mushrooms. the answer was certainly. Would have been nice if they said no up front since the did not replace but charged me for them. I will not be returning anytime soon. At those prices I would have expected exceptional service. We went for Christmas dinner and it was a very good dining experience. The restaurant was packed but we had a very short wait for our reservation. Service was good although the bar service was somewhat slow. Our meals were cooked perfectly and served promptly. This is a solid restaurant and I recommend it.
Was unfortunately a disappointment. Food was dry, steak had to be sent back because it was over cooked. Dessert was mediocre. It worth the $. The waiter was very good and personable.
Four of us had Christmas dinner, all of us having seafood of one kind or another. I had lobster tails, which were actually quite good which can sometimes be a surprise even in a really good seafood restaurant since they are not absolutely fresh from the ocean. Everyone reported that their food was very well prepared and tasty. Our server was very friendly, attentive and responsive to our requests. Restaurant was crowded and noisy on a holiday , but we were seated in a back room which was much quieter than the front area. All in all it was a good experience and we would gladly return for another meal.

M&S has slid since we were last there. Yes, it was Christmas Eve, but every patron had a reservation so they knew we were all coming. Slow to get seated. Slow to get wine. Really slow to get our food. My fries were just room temp and I had to send them back. Not the M&S we used to love.
This restaurant has really gone downhill. On our last visit it was dirty inside, the server was overwhelmed and overworked. The food wasn’t as good as it used to be. This is our second bad experience with MS in the last few months. Don’t think we will go there anymore.
Waitress couldn’t be bothered and for $300 birthday/holiday dinner she needs to smile and be pleasant . Forgot water 4x , wrong food brought out twice and they still upcharged for side.
The service was SO BAD! It wasn’t even busy and we waited about 30-45 minutes for our food. I felt so judged and uncomfortable there the entire time. We asked the waitress for a replacement item on the Seafood Trio and she charged us for BOTH even tho she said she wouldn’t. So basically we didn’t get the full entree but we were still charged it- I didn’t notice until I got home. My salad tasted so bad, the ingredients were so old I couldn’t even finish a $30 salad. NEVER GOING TO THE RESTON LOCATION. I’ve never been so upset after eating at a “fancy” restaurant.

Customer service was terrible hostess, waitress and poor manager. Instead of offering an apology for the terrible service she argue with clients.
While the food was above average the service was horrific. Went so far as to complain at the Landry’s site and got no response at all. Won’t be heading back.

I was disappointed with my meal, the skin on the fish was right side up, was hard, and not really tasteful. The clam chowder was good, but it was too salty. This seems the case today for a lot of restaurants.
Great Cocktails! 💯
Brought clients for a holiday meal and they were very pleased. My only bit of constructive feedback is around your special cocktails. We were a party of five and four of us had specialty cocktails. We were told they take a little more time, but we thought it meant a moment or two. I think by the time the fourth cocktail was created and delivered, it was close to 15-18 minutes, and the ice had melted in my drink. So, not a big deal, but perhaps double-up on the mixologists when multiple cocktails are ordered.
I would have given you a 5-star rating, except the service was not quite up to par - very slow in checking back to see if we needed anything.
Harto is the best waiter. He takes very good care of us when we dine there
Excellent service and food.
Service by 2 waiters was uncoordinated, uneven and less than acceptable. The fish dishes were very good. Unfortunately, the filets we ordered were awful. Though properly done (medium rare), they were tough and full of inedible and unchewable gristle. They were definitely NOT filets.

Overall everything was good but the vegatables should have been steamed a little more not raw especially the potatoes and I wasn't a fan of the desert.
