The staff was very friendly- we went for seafood as we are pescatarian- one of our dishes was not correct- it came out and it was chicken. The person with me had a bit of it before realizing it was chicken - not sure who’s mistake it was but it was disappointing and we had to eat as different times while we waited for the correct dish. That being said the waiter was very nice and apologetic.
Great service and food
Server was very casual. Asked for a straw and she never brought it. Asked for salt and pepper, she never brought it. Did not fill empty water glasses. Soup was kinda cold and the salmon was dry with a very strong sherry wine flavor.
This was our first time having dinner here, the food was great and the restaurant was nice, our server was really nice as well, we will definitely be back
I wanted a place where I knew I wouldn’t be rushed and had a nice relaxed ambience…that is what I found at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood. Everyone was great and attention to dietary restrictions mentioned beforehand was gratefully recalled when I ordered something that was iffy. I am grateful everyone there gave us all a sense of normalcy during these crazy times.
I didn’t make the reservation at the right location, I went to the harbor … I waited 45 min just for the check! I tried to express my concern to the manager, the woman manager and male manger brushed me off as if I’m not spending 300+ in this establishment.. what’s sad is I’m a regular.. doubt if I’ll come back any time soon
Food was over cooked, unseasoned and dry! The manager struggled with cooking a filet medium rare and served the steak twice as well done and took forever to acknowledge the issue.
Our server AJ was fabulous and is the only reason we would return. Drinks were slow in coming (only one bartender and he was slammed) but the berry berry mojito and the Moscow mule were excellent. Unfortunately the steak was over cooked. Not the best experience for the price.
AJ our waiter was attentive and informative. The food served was delicious. Warning! The Chocolate Fruit Bag dessert is huge and delicious
Great place for a romantic birthday or anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Marshall, was very good!
Nice place! Lots of great food options during happy hour!
Great restaurant the ambiance was nice, the waiter was very attentive and pleasant and the food was amazing
Our meals took almost an hour to make and we were served.
The mean course before the appetizers and had to canceled.
Half of the drinks that we ordered at the beginning arrived after we were done.
The main courses were mixed up and served to the wrong person.
One of the main courses was a steak, was ask to be serve medium rare and it was cooked medium well.
At the time of payment we were charged for the appetizers we had canceled before because they never served.
We felt so bad for the staff - clearly overwhelmed because of being short staffed and constant traffic because of the holiday. The manager did an amazing job - juggling as much as she could. Without her efforts, the experience would have been a complete disaster.
It was so bad. Food tasted like it has been sitting, service was slow, and servers were rude.
Poor service, waiter smelled of marijuana, and the food had no flavor. Bar service was extremely slow, and poor quality drinks. We would never go back here and recommend to everyone a $42 steak is not worth it here. The food quality and service was comparable to a Five Guys burger place.
Great food and awesome staff.
Mike greeted us and was our server as well. He made our dining experience very nice and enjoyable.
Poor service by waiter. Never came around to ask if we needed anything else
Went there for our anniversary and it wasn't that is was a bad experience just not going to go back.
Beautiful establishment will return again if I visit DC again
The service was great, the bread was delicious, the meals were ok. Not worth the hefty price tag we paid.
Good food ghjghjgjkk hhjhhjjkkk
The stuffed salmon was excellent. My son said the lobster was perfect. My friend absolutely enjoyed the shrimp and the drinks were outstanding!!!!Service was also outstanding. We celebrated fathered day and two birthdays. Memorable!!!
Food was cold, overcooked, and very small portions. Drinks took forever and when they finally came to us we got a martini glass with lipstick on the rim. Service was slow and forgetful. Maybe they are understaffed because of COVID. Not the way I wanted to spend my birthday weekend.
The open blue cobia was small, dry and overcooked. Most expensive and worst meal I had all week in DC. Took longer to get the check than it did to order and eat. Extremely disappointing.
the food was awesome ! the servers were very nice. the cheese cake was fantastic
Food price was not equal to quality. Service was adequate.
Good ambiance food could be improved. Drinks perfect
Service lacking but can be contributed to experienced restaurant servers not returning post COVID. Many menu items that were a staple of McCormick and Schmick's are no longer available since Landry's purchased the chain. Alaskan King Crab was still cold from being frozen. Sent back and manager did remove item from bill as well as provided a complimentary dessert.
Excellent place for any type of gathering. Simply an awesome 1st experience that we will repeat as often as possible when we are in that area. Thank you
Do you know the state mandate for masks and social distancing has not been lifted the mandate. Maryland governor comes on TV and says he’s opening all of Maryland so we decided to go to DC. Everything was cool when we first got there they said us at a four top by cells or off to the left in the middle of the restaurant. Then a party was arriving! Why did they sit 14 people next to my table with my children. My wife knew I was upset. We immediately asked for the check. That took 20 years also for him to bring. I don’t mind dropping money on my family dinners we only do once a month but 300 and terrible service. I’m good!!! I will never be going there again!
Just popped in for happy hour, the drinks were amazing the bartender was everything. However the food wasn’t that good this time which was very upsetting. Hopefully next time will be better.
The menu items were limited, not sure if it's because of Mother's Day as they had a special menu for the day.
It was a blustery day and the restaurant opens at 3:30 on Saturdays. I was one of the first guests to arrive and we had to wait until 3:35 for the manager to unlock the doors. I called at 3:30 and a staff member said that they had to wait for the manager to open the doors. Considering the weather conditions being much colder than usual in May, I feel the doors should have been opened on time.
I observed the servers working as a team to accommodate the guests. The food was delicious.
Me and my best friend had a mommy getaway weekend. We had made reservations at the restaurant upon arrival we had to ask a server that was walking by of he could seat u because we been waiting for so long. Once seated our server didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks or a appetizer. She asked us if we wanted tap water or a sparkling water. Once we received our water we had asked for straws took her 10 minutes to bring straws. When she returned we ordered appetizers. Eventually we was able to order some cocktails she said she needed to see an ID (odd being that I’m almost 40) but I proceeded to tell her that I couldn’t take it out my wallet because it was stuck but I could show her because it was a clear piece that it was stuck into and you could read it. She goes to tell me that she has to physically hold my ID because that was the rules which I get but at the same time we are still dealing with Covid so I don’t understand that aspect of her physically having to touch my ID. So fast forward to her bringing out our appetizers. We had completely finished our appetizers not once did she come and check up on us or even ask us for our order. So when she finally came I just asked for check and we left. I have NEVER been to this type of high end establishment and received such rude and unprofessional service. This was the first time in over a year that I decided to treat myself. We was extremely happy to be going to this restaurant just to be treated sooooooooo rudely. I wanted to tell the manager about it but that probably wouldn’t have done no help. There was a server named AJ that was working close to our table that was treating his guest so pleasant we wished we had got him. But instead we had a young last who obviously didn’t care so much for us. Our dinner was ruined and cut short because of this young lady. I will not be returning and also I will be telling fellow peers of my experience of this establishment.
Few diners. Food was fair but service was good
