All of our snacks, breakfasts and meals are made at the time of ordering; we never use frozen or microwave meals systems, and we bake daily. Up until 11.30am, you can start your morning right with our large variety of breakfast meals for you to choose from with your fresh McCoy’s Coffee. We then have a great selection of food to fill you up after a long day of shopping or to enjoy with your family. We also have a large waterside terrace area that is a great sun trap on summer days and evenings, with a glazed area for those breezy days. It makes a perfect alternative for those who enjoy the outside dining experience.

The waiters are up and down the stairs, its alway hit and miss wether they're going to be upstairs to serve you or not. Could probably do with a way of knowing what your customers need as we were waiting to order for around 15 minutes when it was so quiet upstairs.
Not the first time either.
Other than that, love the place.

Excellent food and value. Very friendly staff. I think people dont realise they continue to serve food in early evening. We went at 6 before a show at the Bonus Arena- perfect.

We booked a table online for 3 for 6:30pm. We received a confirmation email, which stated our table had been booked. We arrived in town and parked in Princes Quay. When we were walking towards McCoy’s we could see that the doors were closed. So, we called to confirm our table would be available. However, we were told ‘sorry, we are closing because it’s been a slow business day.’ I asked why there was no information provided on the site about this and why I was able to book the table despite the restaurant being closed, and the reply I got was simply ‘sorry’.

So, my husband, my five year old son and I wasted our time (I don’t know if you know what it’s like when a five year old is hungry and asking for dinner - it is stressful). We also paid for parking, after we drove there in rush hour traffic!!

My family and my friends often rely on me for recommendations and I can tell you that I would tell them all to steer clear from this restaurant, especially those with children as it really ruins the day.

Lovely setting for meal with friends. Service was great. Food was all lovely, just could have been served slightly hotter as it was just warm. Would return though.

Booked for birthday celebration 6.30pm. After 1 hour in Restaurant they informed us that they close at 7pm and that we should pay for our bill. Food was nice. I would recommend to the restaurant to not take bookings after 6pm if costumers can not enjoy themselves and staying times are restricted.
Thank you

Pre arena meal, 4 diners. We arrived slightly late prior to which the restaurant rangvti check we where on the way. Plenty choose from on the menu and we each chose something different to eat, food was fresh and hot. 2 of my sides were missing, but soon
remedied. We will return

We use McCoys regularly and as it was advertised as open until 8 thought we would try early evening meal. We booked for 6.30 but it was clear we had arrived as they were packing up and only one other couple in the place. Service was limited and my beef stroganoff tasted really acidic but staff were not interested.
Reasonable value and staff obviously busy working outside clearing up etc but pretty disappointing.

There was only 2 tables dining but we received excellent service. The food was cooked to order and arrived fresh and hot. Excellent food. Would recommend the vegetable quiche with wedges and the flat breads. Both Superb !! Enjoyed with a glass of prosecco and a beer.
Been here several times over the years for coffee and lunch but never before on an evening.
Had tickets for city hall so thought we'd give it a try on an evening. Didn't disappoint at all. Will definitely be back.

We were the only people there on a damp and gloomy evening, but our waiter was absolutely charming - helpful and attentive, and did not make us feel rushed, even though they were set to close on our departure. The food was good as always.

Booked a table for 3 via the Internet & received confirmation by email. We were having a meal before attending a show at The City Hall. We were running late so I rang to ask if we could move the booking to 15 minutes later. When my call was answered they said they were closing because they had no customers in. When I said i'd booked a table via the intranet he apologised & said all the kitchen staff had gone home ! Needless to say I won't be going there again !
