Simply put - this is one of our favourite restaurants. Seeing Tony and Jovan just made it for us yesterday . First meal out as friends after lockdown eased and it felt so comfortable.
All staff always hospitable and friendly. The food was stunningly tasty. Perfectly cooked steak 👌🏼👌🏼 .. one of our party is gluten intolerant and Jovan made sure their needs were catered for and helped pick form the menu.
Brilliantly perfect evening in Windsor 😃😃
Nice quiet environment. Very overpriced for the food.
Delicious food, lovely wine and great service! What more could you want! Had the chateaubriand and was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had to make a last minute change to our dining plans because our hotel messed up…so now in Windsor where to go? I searched Steak. Meat At The Parish came up. Managed to book through open table. The staff were so so welcoming, gave us great advise on steak choices. They had run out of Oysters, sad, but in this climate you can’t blame any restaurant for ordering frugally. We had an amazing T-bone steak, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Gorgeous sides too. And liquid pudding of Espresso Martini - yum. Would highly recommend.
Always consistently good here. The rump steak is the best rump ive ever eaten
Pleasant ambience, good food, steaks cooked perfectly for us, good wine & beer choices, pleasant helpful staff.
The food was better than we expected and good sized portions. The menu was interesting and has enough variety. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere.
Great food and attentive staff.
Lovely window seat to watch the world go by!
Friendly service and great food.
Excellent steak, wine and service, lovely atmosphere
Good food and excellent, knowledgeable service from all the staff.
First time at this restaurant post lock down and it was superb! Being vegetarian I knew there wouldn’t be allot of choice but what there was, was delicious! The other three in the party had delicious steaks and burgers. The service was great as were the cocktails.
Excellent food, great service and very friendly owners. We had the chateaubriand and oysters. All was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Will be back again.
We ate at the restaurant on Sunday evening and they advised us that a few items had been sold out. That ended up being a lot of the menu.
The steak had was nice, the starters were nice but I’d have preferred I’ve if they sold items. In fact the one I ordered had become sold out when we came to order.
The only other thing to note is that one of the waitresses was exempt to wearing a face mask and whilst I appreciate there maybe good reasons no doubt for this maybe a face guard instead should have been work as she worked with a lot of customers.
Good was very good throughout to be honest. It was a good evening.
Booked as a birthday surprise for 3 of our party.
Hosts and all staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome.
Food was excellent quality, good portion sizes and tasty.
Pricey but worth it.
Only comment would be about the broken oven which limited the menu options but did not affect the evening.
Would definitely return
Quality of food, especially the meat was astounding. Service really good. Good choice of beer, wine and cocktails. Highly recommend.
The ‘go to’ place for great steak but lots of other things too, starters & sides tasty & fresh interesting cocktail & wine list, nice buzzy atmosphere without being intrusive, helpful, friendly staff
What more could you want ?
It was nice to be back after such a long time, as expected, we were not disappointed by the ambience, food or the first rate service which we received.
Excellent food, good ambience, attentive staff, well worth the price.
Staff very attentive and friendly
Steak beautiful - thanks
Food was lovely! Great atmosphere and the owners were so friendly and welcoming! Will defo go back again.
Even though they had issues with the oven failing - we were informed when we arrived and told which of the menu items were unfortunately unavailable. Service was fantastic and food as delicious as usual.
£125 FOR A SINGLE MEAL FOR 2 WITH A BOTTLE OF RED PLUS CHIPS AND VEG IS TOO MUCH IN MY VIEW
Modern steak restaurant. At first it was not as “posh” as expected but once we’d settled in we had a fabulous experience. Waiter was very attentive, food was cooked to perfection and huge portions. Courgette fries a must! Cocktails especially the Espresso martini were amazing. Met the owners whilst there who were warm, welcoming and gave the place character! Long overdue catch up with a friend and we were at ease and not rushed. We will be back!
What a great first restaurant experience after lockdown. The owners were so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and so were the cocktails. Will be booking again the next time we’re in Windsor
Celebrated my husbands 60th birthday there and it was fantastic! First meal out since last October and it really lived up to it! Food was delicious, staff were lovely and owner hilarious! She made us feel very welcome and had we not been expecting a call from America we would have stayed longer - just a super evening!Thank you all very much.
Lovely restaurant with great service.
We had a wonderful meal and the service was friendly and quick. I would strongly recommend.
Very good as always, we always try to get in when we are in ascot or windsor, top scran!!!!! The other ones favourite place to eat........its something we actually agree on?
Very friendly and welcoming. We have been several times and it never disappoints. The fillet steak is really delicious, but other dishes are equally good. Its just a shame that there were not more people taking advantage of the fine food. We will certainly dine here again.
Amazing as always. Great service everyone and very welcoming. Cocktails are great
We always receive a warm and friendly welcome from the family owners and team, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent fresh food and ingredients, specialists in the finest quality steaks, great value for money, comfortable and Covid safe environment. The best restaurant in Windsor and one of the best in Berkshire! Highly recommended for casual dining or special celebration.
Had a delicious meal. Service was exceptional and the staff delightful. Last time we ate there (lockdown takeaway!) my husbands steak was disappointing BUT they gave us a credit for another time and we used that and no complaints this time. If only more restaurants gave such attentive customer service. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Absolutely Amazing food. Will definitely be returning
I love this family run restaurant, the staff are so welcoming and there is always a fab atmosphere. I've been back about 4 times now as the food is to die for... my bestie loves it too and even her kids have been back several times.
We love the food here and again it didn’t disappoint. Felt the service today was very slow and didn’t really pay us much attention. Was very expensive for a mid week meal out.
Considering the restaurant was quiet the service was rather slow. I thought the food was mediocre for the price. It was well cooked a tasted good but definitely over priced, I think as Windsor is a tourist town this my be why the prices are high.
Delicious food served by attentive and friendly waiters.
Will definitely come back.
Overall good food, following guidelines. Meat was fantastic but side accompaniments to the Sunday roast were poor and didn’t taste of much. Need to work on that for the price as a pub Sunday roast (apart from the meat) would knock this out of the park.
I had oysters which were fresh and delicious. My friend had salt and pepper squid which was overcooked and rubbery. There was nothing salt and pepper about it. Rib eyes were huge and enjoyable but only tepid. Cesar salad was served in a tiny bowl which was overflowing and non crisp flabby bacon. Overall it wasn't too bad but not sure if I would return. Staff were efficient and friendly. Bill for two courses for two and sparkling water came to nearly £100
