Meat At The Parish
From 1st September 2017 we will welcome young diners over the age of 10 only. Thank you.
Meat at the Parish is a Premium Steak House and Cocktail Bar. We specialise in USDA corn fed beef & grass-fed Argentinian Pampas. We have an extensive wine list from around the world & a unique cocktail selection. Our restaurant is loved by locals and visitors alike. We go to great lengths to source the best ingredients for our guests.
Having read the reviews, we were excited to try the steaks.
Starter we great, lots of flavour and plentiful.
Main course however did not meet our expectations, two steaks were cold, one of which we asked to be heated some more.
Restaurant clearly has a good reputation but maybe we caught it in an off night.
Smart and high quality restaurant, relaxed ambiance. Lovely food, simply presented which I like.
Excellent range of cocktails, little bit pricey but worth it for a occasion.
Friendly, happy team working just two gentlemen on the night we went and they gave a lovely service to us.
Food and service excellent , little pricey , but nice place for special occasions
Have been here many times, and always enjoy Meat At The Parish, but normally as a treat as it isn't the cheapest meal in Windsor.. On this occasion I went there specifically when I saw that they did a Sunday lunch board which I hadn't tried and seemed reasonable for the price, however on arrival they had run out. This was rather disappointing as was really hankering for a Sunday roast, but the meal we had instead was good.
We had an absolutely wonderful meal. The restaurant was very covid friendly the tables were nicely spaced out and all the staff were extremely professional. The quality of the food was outstanding I have chilli squid which was very lightly battered in a fresh batter, one of the best that I've had. We shared a chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection and added a lovely onion bloomer (a must try). It was a really special night out without a vert special price. If you like meat its a must go.
Lovely food, lovely place. We were celebrating our anniversary and had a great night
I had the bone-in rib. Quality of steak and service not commensurate with the price they charge.
Sunday lunch. Bloody Mary one of the best, oysters perfect... roast beef to share very good... the beef was superb literally melted in the mouth and was perfectly cooked, everything piping hot. I prefer my roast potatoes more done but otherwise a fantastic meal.... considering the quality of the food, location and ambiance I feel that it’s excellent value without compromising on quality. You get what you pay for.
Excellent service, food and wine. Sunday Roast for 2, was really well presented and cooked perfectly.
Our first time here and it was great . We normally go to goodmans and hawksmoor but did not want to go into london . we are now so happy to have a great steak restaurant round the corner!!
Lovely restaurant, great customer service, fabulous food but bit pricey
Amazing food. We shared a chateaubriand and it was really tasty and full of flavour. Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu choices. Very much recommended.
Steaks are a must have at Meat At The Parish!
Amazing food and service!
Would recommend this wonderful restaurant if you are looking for somewhere special ❤
Excellent food and service. I'd definitely go back, and recommend to others.
Excellent meals, cocktails and wine. Service was great, not overly fussy but efficient and pleasant. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food especially meat!
Would highly recommend great service - great food .....simple !
Promised a lot but didnt quite deliver. Shouldn't have to pay extra for sauce accompaniments. Steak not cooked enough or rested, had blood on plate!! Cocktails were good. Pork ribs starter was very tasty, they need to be on main menu!
60th Birthday family celebration.
Food service and atmosphere were fantastic.
Great atmosphere & nice food albeit on expensive side
Great food and service. Definitely going back there again.
Food was great just would have liked a choice with tipping seeing as there was only 2 people!!
Lovely Sunday lunch with family 23 to 88 years old
Nothing was to much trouble the waiter was friendly and had a lovely rapport with my father.
Accommodated my father having two starters... ‘the most lovely prawn cocktail ‘ he said,
Duck breast was so tender and the sharing platter of roast beef was delicious.
A vegetarian was catered well for with a gnocchi ... delicious.
Lovely Sunday lunch we will definitely return . Good value for the quality of the food .....5 *
Excellent meal, steak was superb & would visit again
Great experience as always
Excellent value for money, superb menu, choice, and quality of food. Experienced, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable team. Nothing was too much trouble. We Will visit again.

This restaurant is amazing, the staff, the atmosphere and not to mention the food. Wow, the steaks and burgers were the best we have ever tasted and we’ve tried a lot!!!
Don’t just think about trying here, book it.
Love this place! Always great food and service. Highly recommend a visit
We were so looking forward to our late bank holiday lunch at Meat at the Parrish as it such a rare treat for us but unfortunately were left disappointed. The food was great but the service was just not up to scratch. We were taken to a table right at the back by the kitchen and the toilets, which was strange given the amount of available tables but in the grand scheme of things that was ok, but not ideal. The drinks order was taken quickly but took a while to arrive. We ordered a couple of oysters and asked for them to come with our cocktails but they didn’t. Instead they came out after our starter, which wasn’t what we wanted and then it just felt strange. The starters were nice however our plates were taken away while we were still chewing and our mains put in front of us pretty much immediately. We ordered wine and had to chase it twice and then it arrived near the end of the meal. There was one other table who appeared to be receiving preferential treatment and we were left feeling rushed and I welcomed. It was such a shame, the reviews and the food were all so good but for us the service just didn’t match it.
We both had steaks (Fillet and Ribeye).
Both cooked perfectly.
We did order some side dishes which were plentiful so next time we would have less sides, leaving room for something else perhaps. Chose a very good bottle of red wine. Didn't have puddings as full up. Good spaces between tables due to the Covid 19.
Quite expensive but very good food and knowing Windsor is pricey, well worth the money. Look forward to our next visit.
everything was great, delicious food, good sized portions, nice wine. side salads to accompany steaks were very tasty too (salads are often overlooked!) servers were friendly and helpful (tho not wearing masks). cheers
A lovely evening - good food, made outstanding by excellent service.
We would highly recommended
Top quality dining at Meat at The Parish. A must for all steak lovers! The menu is a blend of popular classics, with a modern twist. And a fantastic selection of sides, desserts and aperitifs. Not the cheapest meal, but definitely a quality eating experience. All Covid-friendly and certainly worth a visit. We shall be returning next time we are in Windsor.
Amazing food and great place to spend a special occasion.. BEST Bloody Mary in town. ! Could go there just for those and the prawns !!
Great food and friendly staff
Great evening. Knowledgable staff and fantastic service. The food was great and we had the house wine, which once it had been allowed to breath for a while was perfectly adequate. It was nice to see the business and environment thriving during these difficult times. Thank you.
first place we have been in a long time that cooks the steak the way you order it. sides very good too.
