Meat House London
Fast and friendly service, good tasty food, price ok
Good food but diner atmosphere
Not great - plastic plates - slow service - dirty table - very average - did not live up to reviews. Would not revisit.
The service was hit and miss, while the staff were very friendly we had to wait for the table and to order. There also were other tables either waiting for their food or to pay. We didn't get to see a breakdown of the bill because there was an issue with the machine so couldn't be sure that the pricing was correct, as we were meant to have gotten free prosecco to make up for waiting. Given the total we paid, I'm not sure we got great value for money as my steak was bland and the vegetables on the side were overcooked. The music was great though!
Halal meets America in relaxed ambiance with drinks for all tastes.
A glorified kebab shop, do not go
The overall quality was good, I will go there again
Very good service and food also very good. Great to get together with friends.
We didn’t stay to eat, we thought it would be more of a steak house with a decent selection of sides. Our mistake, the clue is in the name!
We were 4 adults and 2 children 9-13 and the menu offered a range of food to satisfy us all. The service was excellent - timely. friendly and perceptive. The cooking is good standard stuff- doesn’t pretend ( and isn’t) to be cutting edge or haute cuisine. A reliable place to have a solid meal. My only concern was that the piped music was too obtrusive.
We loved our dinner at Meat House London. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 children. The ambiance was hip. The staff was super accommodating and nice. The food was delicious! Our favorite dinner in London. Will go again when we return.
Been here so many times and the standard of food is consistently good, best beef ribs I've had anywhere in London!
Service is what makes this place exceptional! Very well run by the owner who makes you feel comfortable every time and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone!
Was very busy, but food was served as estimated. Very friendly staff.
Surprised that there was no allergens menu - very difficult for a coeliac
Waitress was super friendly, (and cute).
My tomahawk steak was over cooked a fraction, but because the service was so good, I didn’t mind.
While the food was alright the atmosphere and service was not great! Everything was very slow with us having to remind them a lot to do things like take our order and clear our plates. The decor seemed disconnected and nothing seemed very clean. The menus in particular smelt terrible like they’d been cleaned with a dirty rag. It did not make you want to order anything from the menu. The food was nice but not good enough to out way the rest of experience
Fab! Food is fantastic! Best restaurant ive been to in my 32 years!!!
We came in really early and had to be out by 1 but the waitress was so lovely and got us everything we needed. We had 2 amazing burgers
The quality of food is good. But not worth the money.
The food was amazing, the service was great! I would recommend this to everyone.
We will definitely be going back.
Great food..very slow service, staff spent most time talking too eachother
Great food absolutely fantastic food but questionable service! If the service was better it would be possible be my favourite place to eat
Spacious comfortable restaurant but rather drab. Mojitos made with lime cordial sent back, waitress replaced with alternative drink without any fuss. Food is tasty. My brothers steak burger sent back as turky rasher topping served cold- was sorted by waitress quickly. Lovely cheesecake. Can't fault the service but wouldn't return.
If you love Steak then look no further as its one of the best steaks i've had very tasty and a must for meat lovers, its fairly priced nice cosy settings.
Great service, amazing food!
I came here with my daughter for New Years Eve dinner. It was excellent. I had the lamb chops which were very tasty, and my daughter had a burger. Everything was delicious, the service was great and it was reasonable priced. Would definitely return.
The main reason for going was that it was halal. The steaks were good but the burgers were not great. Was definitely a bit disappointed with the ambience. Didn't excite me enough to want to go again.
A bit of a carnivore's treat, this. Good steak and chips - and lamb shank for the moll - with a nice pint of Pale Ale. Charming waitress service too.
Had the sirloin steak and was very good. Service was a little slow, our drinks took a while to arrive.
Have been Meat House a few times now. The Lamb Chops are a must try! it's what i keep going back for :) service is great and always leave satisfied.
Early dinner with only 10% restaurant capacity and still 25 mins for initial drink!
Ordered chunky chips but was told they are sold out and only skinny fries available - different potatoes? What does it tell you?
Food was at best ok - lamb ribs disgusting, short beef ribs actually ok. Very very average food and appalling customer service.
There are ample better places to eat if you’re looking for quality meat!
Sorry but VERY disappointed!
This was a great find a short 6 minute walk from Kings Cross. The meals were very good quality and the service was patient and extremely accomdating. We had my Dad with us and he is extremely difficult to feed. We are talking about a man who does not like sea salt, rock salt and will only accept table salt.
But here he was happy, the meat house catered for his every requirement, including custard, which was not on the menu.
Food wise it was very good quality. I had lamb chops and they were very tasty, and my wife was very happy with her ribs.
Food was awesome, definitely the best lamb shank i had. Chops were epic too.
You need to read what they say about themselves. This isn't a standard steak and burger place but offers serious fusion.
Everything good - except please pre-heat the plates!!
Had a great time. Lovely food, generous portions and friendly staff.
The food was ok as was the service; the place lacked atmosphere. There are better places.
When we first walked in the waitress barely spoke to us but then another waitress with a bit more enthusiasm served us and made the experience better. A bit pricy for what you actually get. Starters are no cheaper that £7 which is bonkers for a place that serves burgers and chips.
Overall, the food was nice and tasty but there are better alternatives for your money and better atmosphere.
It’s good the food was really good because the rest of the experience was a bit odd. They have an old menu in which most things we ordered they don’t stock anymore. The waitress when asked which of the ribs she’d recommend said, ‘none, I don’t like the ribs here’ - fine, but was a weird thing for a waitress to say! The place had just been bleached as we got there and it was pretty empty so wasn’t the nicest of environments, which would have been passable if it wasn’t £15+ a meal.
However, if you do like ribs you’ll love these ones. The short ribs especially were awesome and a massive portion.
Worth going for the ribs alone.
Great kid friendly ! Easy to get to from kings cross
