Good food. Nice atmosphere. Sweet waiter. But our food took forever and had to ask multiple times for things that were forgotten. Overall disappointing.
The meat very bad. The food was cold …. The French fries super bad and too salt. Too expressive for the bad food

First time there for our Sons 18th birthday.
Everyone was very nice. The server Haley and the Manager Robert made a point to greet our son by his name and wish him a Happy Birthday. Food was delicious. We had the charcuterie board and oysters followed by aged rib eye, 3 way filet and a 12 oz filet. Side of asparagus and garlic mash. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The restaurant itself is very interesting as they have a charcuterie display, a large wine area, viewing windows into the kitchen and a glass aging room where all the meat is hanging. We will definitely go back again soon.

Steaks were good but a little too marbled especially for the price per ounce. Service was very slow and had to flad down the waiter (or another waiter) multiple times.

Came for Thanksgiving dinner. They were busy but we were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time. Great ambiance and good vibe. Server was fine but never got the side order of mushrooms we wanted. The Turkey dinner was dry and my wife’s steak was fine but nothing to write home about. Overall a decent experience.

My family and I went to Meat on Ocean for thanksgiving dinner. The bread rolls are amazing and the ambiance was very cozy. The food itself was delicious and I appreciated that the courses were served with time in between. Highly recommend!

We came to Meat on Ocean while visiting our daughter in L.A. This was our Thanksgiving dinner out but we ordered from the regular menu rather than their Thanksgiving meal. The food was very, very good. Wonderful steaks and sides - all perfectly prepared. Santa Monica was jam packed and we appreciated the warm welcome and gracious service at Meat on Ocean. They did not behave as if it was a crazy night with too many people to serve. A little slow bringing out our food but we understood and just had more time to visit with each other.
The food was served Luke warm; it was sent back; when it was served again it was still Luke warm. Management did comp our meal but are Thanksgiving was ruined.
Thanksgiving dinner did come with desert but we did not get it; our server did tell us our meal was at no charge but didn’t ask us if we wanted the desert. Oh well; probably won’t go out for Thanksgiving again.
Food was great. A bit expensive. They got our non alcoholic drinks wrong and when corrected, charged us again. $20 for two pops. Service was ok slow and seemed understaffed.
Long wait even though we had reservations. People were seated of similar party size before use even though they had the same time of reservation and my party came first.

Overpriced, portions were small & bland...across the street from the beach. We were one of the few tables of color except for the servers...also are the staff trained to not be friendly, warm, social?
This was only our second time dining here. Everything was fantastic, even the salad, and especially the desert.
Grat food and excellent service
We were so excited to try this restaurant and left extremely disappointed. The atmosphere was great but the food was below average. From our salad to our appetizer and even my steak. I ordered the 60 day aged New York and it was undercooked, chewy and way too salty. I expected way more from a place specializing in steaks. The bathrooms were messy, and a fellow was sweeping the floor around us and other guests. Not very professional. It’s a shame the place is amazing but I wouldn’t spend the money there again

As a French chef the only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review is that the “bearnaise” was not
A bearnaise. In fact it was a an insult to call this sauce “bearnaise”
I had a dinner with my old friend and placed an order a lots. If the server suggested us it would be too much for two, it might be perfect. All dishes I ordered were very tasty as usual. The remained foods were packed to bring them home. I felt happy twice anyway.
Cannot say enough great things about the quality of service, steaks, cocktails, appetizers, and the overall experience. If you’re looking for a steakhouse in Los Angeles area don’t miss this one. On top of all those accolades, you just can’t beat the value. Don’t get me wrong, it’s steakhouse expensive but not obnoxious big city expensive. I’ll definitely be back and recommend anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience to make this place a priority.
Birthday celebration, the managers were really amazing.. at first the staff could not give us the patio side sitting. When I had special requests that.. after requesting a few times the manager walked up to us and asked us to wait for 5 min.. she came back and assured us that they will make a table available at the patio side area and she was so friendly and so understanding.. we were celebrating a 45 bday.. the server was really friendly and attentive and make sure our food and drinks were perfect.. a romantic and amazing night.. thank you to the amazing manager that helped us out..

I ordered a medium well 30d T bone but it’s over cooked. Part of it was burned. Drinks comes after appetizer. Pistachio crème brûlée taste not fresh.
