Mechanic Street Station
i rated them on my past experiences, as they were closed due to Mandatory shutdown in Bucks County due to Coronavirus, as all the restaurants have been. But, I got a personal text right after i made the reservation, apologizing for their closure, which meant alot. Will be going back as soon as they open up again!!!
We all miss Blue Moose but Mechanic Street Station is a great new restaurant. Intriguing menu, fantastic service, same great interior space. We went for brunch, delicious, and considering the $40 brunches around town, this is a great value. Looking forward to heading back for dinner. Give her a try!
We had a nice experience but felt the grilled vegetables in particular should not have been presented as a main meal.
Great meal! We will come back soon!
We had a great brunch. Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. Nice big back deck!
Our first visit. We will be back! The food was tremendous, perfectly prepared and seasoned. It was a fairly quiet night, apparently due to the weather and time of year. All of the team were extremely friendly and professional. If there were any critiques, it is that the salad portions were small, and no seafood dishes on the menu.
Great food, everything had a unique twist that made it stand out from an ordinary restaurant. This restaurant will become popular very fast...
Meticulous and extremely well put together plates! The menu changes daily and is dependent on whatever fresh ingredients are sourced that day. I highly recommend Mechanic Street Station.
We had a wonderful evening out. The food & service were fantastic. A great group of restaurant professionals who really want to enhance the New Hope restaurant scene. Such a great addition to town. Loved it!
Dinner was enjoyable. I'm not one to ever complains about portions because I don't have a big appetite and never finish what's on my plate at restaurants. That said....I was still hungry after finishing every speck of food on my plate. (Also shared an app and desert) Ample serving of duck....but would have definitely liked more veggies and other accompaniments. Would also suggest adding at least 1 meatless entree.
Overall I would say mediocre food with small portions and high prices. Limited menu - to survive in New Hope in the winter could be a challenge! Good luck!
The food, service, everything was nice, my only complaint would be the price of the set menu was not shown also we saw nothing that said it was a BYOB. by the time we got there local wine shops were closed.
Halibut and duck were cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious, will certainly dine there again. Very yummy cocktail mixers if you choose to byo.
The food was bad, service was bad, and the cost is very expensive. Two of us ordered the black bass for $34, one ordered the scallops for $36, plus appetizers. We waited one hour in an uncrowded restaurant while others that arrived after us were served and left before we were served our entrees. The black bass portion for each dish was about 3 inches by 1 inch - it seemed that they split the tail in half. The black bass dish was described as poached, but the fish and the undercooked vegetables were unseasoned and swimming in water plus a little butter with no seasoning. It was terrible. My friend thought the scallops were ok, though there were only 4 of them for $36, plus the uninspired vegie medley. The appetizers were ok, but overpriced too and not memorable. On the plus side, the ambiance is casual and nice, and it's BYOB.
Great place with phenomenal food and experienced, professional staff. Friendly atmosphere
Wonderful start for a new dining destination. Small menu, changing daily. Service spot on.
Everything from the ambiance, the friendly, knowledgeable service and the delicious food was spot on! Our party of 4 tried different apps, mains and desserts and we all raved about how good it was. We live in the area and eat out often and this is our new favorite. Being a BYOB is a bonus!
