Mediterra very nicely placed us indoors, as we requested. We sat in a quiet corner of the restaurant and had a lovely meal (pastaless lasagna and strip steak). Our waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were very happy with the experience.
Very good , great price, a Princeton classic venue for sure. Waitress seemed busy but it was Sunday evening.
Moms 80th birthday. Good food, excellent waiter
Overall was good. Sometimes it took too long to bring the food.
The food and service were excellent. NY strip was excellent as was the salmon. Oysters prepared perfectly and the bacon wrapped dates were delicious. Great venue outdoor seating was very nice. Good wine selection. We loved the bread pudding too.
Food overall is solid. They are now charging $2 per person for bread and $2 per bottle of water. Also, we got a paella for 4 and they portioned it out in 4 bowls and served instead of putting the disk on the table. This caused a bit of dinner conversation about who got how many shrimps or scallops as part of their dinner. Good vibe inside and out.
Great outdoor dining set up. The homemade spaghetti was delicious.
The food was wonderful. Sophisticated and imaginative.
Wonderful to sit outside and enjoy delicious food with knowledgeable and experienced staff!
We were at Mediterra 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful lunch with so many changes. Yesterday the menu had changed and I could find nothing to eat which was not meat or fish (neither of which I eat) or spicy. I was looking forward to a gazpacho or cold soup but they had spicy cauliflower. The chicken sandwich was unappealing so I ended up with a salad which was basically greens, a little orzo and two flat chicken breasts. My husband ate the salad and I bought the chicken home to make into a waldorf salad. My husband loved his pizza which again I don't care for. Will not go back til the menu changes and there is something for me to order
We love Mediterra. The met burger is awesome!
We comete-te every special date
It was a perfect pandemic lunch setting. They have a large patio area with widely spread out tables. The food was outstanding. My husband and I shared the house salad for an appetizer and it was more than adequate re the portions and one of the best salads we have eaten. I had the sweet potato dish for my main course. It was unusual and extremely tasty. If in the Princeton area definitely a place to go - and even a great choice if one were to got of the way.
Very accommodating. Had made a reservation for inside but changed my mind because of good weather. We ate outside. The personal mushroom pizza was DELICIOUS.
Waiter was excellent! Very professional and always had his mask on. Food was on-time, and delicious!
Beautiful outdoor dining. Lunch was chicken Milanese sandwiches with spicy aioli and slaw-great blend of flavors. Service was excellent. Wine by the glass was a little pricey.
My mom and came her for our first night dining out together in Princeton since before quarantine, and we felt we deserved a little treat yourself evening. Mediterra was both of our first choice. The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional. We sat outside under the canopy and the lights above us were a beautiful touch. The view of the clock tower in the background and the fountain in the foreground really gave the best scene for our dinner. We were greeted by our server Jeff L. right away and he brought us waters while we mulled over the menu. Let me tell you, Jeff was the man. Despite his poor taste in football teams (he was wearing a Giants face mask. sorry for the rough start to the season, Jeff), we were incredibly well taken care of and I always felt that everything was clean & safe.
We both tried each of the cocktails and they were all delicious. Can’t go wrong there.
As an appetizer, the bacon wrapped dates. Lemme tell you, those must be the most popular thing on the menu because everyone around us was ordering them too, and for good reason! Those things were delicious, I could eat about a dozen but I practiced restraint and stuck with three. My mom enjoyed them too.
For our entrees we shared the sweet potato harvest bowl (so yummy 10/10 would get again) it has just the right amount of kick and the cilantro and halloumi cheese+fried+chickpeas, everything about it was amazing. My mom and I both loved that one.
We also got the house made spaghetti with pistachio pesto which was also delicious, home made spaghetti could definitely taste it. It was a bit salty for our taste but we didn’t waste a single bite 9/10 still would recommend. We were too stuffed for desert but I’m sure that is also wonderful. Will be back soon :)
Very comfortable outdoor seating area. Tables well spaced and the food was very good! Service was very good also!
Had a great lunch. Really happy Mediterra is back open. Food was great and and it was very enjoyable to be outside to enjoy the fall weather.
Great for indoor and outdoor dining. Staff was efficient and friendly. Food was excellent, just a little pricey, but we knew that ahead of time.
The food was okay not great. The service and ambiance was excellent. Staff wore masks and we enjoyed the experience.
Great food and service and atmosphere - through these difficult times! Mediterra is a treasure right in the heart of Princeton. Works for nice casual dining, special occasion, date night, lunch or dinner with women friends.... They always have a couple of vegetarian options. The ingredients are always fresh, and well combined. We are so lucky to have them in town!
Excellent Paella and Martino our server was great!
Went for dinner with my wife to Mediterra after four years. Happy to see they've maintained their high quality food, wanted to especially call out the great service.
Trying out Mediterra again. It was excellent. Had the Halibut which was cooked perfectly and presentation was superb. A lot of complex flavors and textures in that dish. The pasta dish was very good. Wine was very good also. Nice by the glass selections. Nice to see a restaurant serving wine at the top of the ranking unlike another restaurant in Princeton we had a wine at the bottom. Will definitely be back.
First timers. We would go back.
Food was very good and the service was very good, as well. The menu is interesting in that it contains various dishes from various countries around the Mediterranean.
We also watched a few burgers go by and they looked pretty enticing. Can't really rate ambiance and noise because this was outdoor dining.
We reserved a table while in Princeton and were seated 15 mins later. The lamb humus and NY strip dinner were enough for two people. Eating outside has been challenging, but this was hands down our best experience eating out in over 8 months.
Beautiful setting with delicious food!
Food is good, but wine pours are extremely small. For ~$15 you get about 4-5 sips. Outdoor atmosphere is great.
First time in their expanded outdoor dining. Food and staff were great. Fellow dinners not so much. Way too many not putting their masks back on when leaving their tables. One women comes in screaming at the rest of her party from the street right by our table maskless. If you're in a vulnerable population, probably not worth the risk.
Always a great destination, our visit to Mediterra this time was to its outdoor seating. Our server Justin made some great food and wine suggestions that our party of four all loved. Trust his advice!
We kicked off with the hummus topped with grilled lamb and cilantro. It immediately brought back memories of great meals and flavors we enjoyed in the Middle East. The pastaless lasagna presented with beautifully succulent layers of perfectly seasoned eggplant, spinach, cheese, and just the right amount of pomodoro sauce. The chicken and porcini papardelle was so tasty, we scraped the dish clean. And the perfectly-sized burger -- not too big but not just a slider -- was tender and topped with a fantastically flavorful salsa verde that made us want more.
This was a great meal in a great setting. It's worth the trip.
Everything was delicious! We can't wait to go back!
Always a pleasure to spend time at Medi Terra. Whether it's for a meal or just drinks, the service and overall quality are excellent.
Lunch with my girlfriends was PHENOMENAL. We ordered multiple appetizers, a main course for each of us, and multiple desserts. Food and drinks were amazing.
Food was excellent. I ordered the salmon and it was probably the best salmon dish I ever had. Try to go early we asked for serval dishes that they did npt have or refused to make (said they turn the pizza oven off prior to closing and were out of 3 other dishes we asked for) Service was decent however I had to repeat a few simple request multiple times like asking for napkins and straws. It took asking three different people to get these items. Outdoor ambiance was very nice. Overall I would return soley based on the Food.
Excellent food and service as usual. Great restaurant!
We live in Delaware. We have been to Mediterra several times this summer. We enjoy the outdoor dining, the overall atmosphere and the selection of food. We will be back!
I would recommend Mediterra.
Outside seating was fine, except the table for two was a bit small.
This was our first time there. Really nice outdoor dining. I order the Chicken Orzo salad, and was a bit disappointed as there was mostly lettuce and a little orzo.
Should change the name of dish,
We had a lovely lunch in the outdoor patio. The food was delicious and the service was pleasant and unobtrusive. They did not make us feel rushed or pressured. We appreciated that!
Had a very great meal and the food and ambiance was terrific. Our server wasn’t the most attentive and we wanted to order a second round of drinks but never could because he never came back to the table until we were done w our meal. We tried ordering the second round through one of the servers who brought us our food but they said they wouldn’t take the second round of drinks order because they weren’t our server. We would definitely come back but hopefully service will improve a bit
