Outstanding food, exemplary service.
Exceptional Saturday lazy lunch with good friends. Fixed price menu offered varied choices and excellent quality. French style, food was beautifully presented and every dish we ordered was wonderful. Great wine too. Portions were just the right size. Service was genuinely superb - friendly and attentive but never intrusive. Staff never tried to rush us at all. Highly recommend and will definitely return. A real gem!
Very good we had lunch with our son who now lives in Fulham and he will take guests there regularly
Great food and lovely staff. My daughter has a severe intolerance to alliums (anything in the onion family) and they accommodated it without fuss. Plus, it was my birthday - I was presented with a stack of lemon curd beignets with a lit candle on top and the waiter singing 'happy birthday'. What's not to like?
One of our favourite restaurants in London, more than deserving of a star (which it has bizarrely lost) especially when comparing alongside other one star restaurants! Delicious food at great value.
Fantastic on all levels !! Innovative and tasty food
Favourite with family, selected for birthday celebration. Lovely decor, super food, discreet but very attentive service - lives up to expectations in every way. Lunch on Sunday was our third [or perhaps fourth?] visit so we can attest to the consistency of the offering. We gathered there from Cambridgeshire and Kent as well as London - that speaks well of the attractions of your small restaurant over the offerings of more centrally located establishments. We are often nervous about online booking, but your arrangements worked very efficiently. Well done all round.
The food was fantastic
Thank you to Agathe for kindness
Crab Ravioli ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and a beautiful place for Lovers
Great menu. Delicious food. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Nice decor. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic food - especially crab ravioli. Friendly understated service. Superb value at £35 for lunch (3 courses)
The fact that I come from Camden once or twice a month is indicative of how much I like this restaurant. The modern English food is delicious, the lunchtime set menu is very good value, the £10 corkage at lunch allows me share my good wines with friends - what better to do this at this charming restaurant at the Worlds End end of the Kings Road. Do come here for lunch or dinner. It’s much busier at dinner than lunch.
I went for a meal with my husband on a Sunday evening - we wanted to go somewhere fairly local and Medlar came up on a search. We loved everything about the experience, from the friendliness of the staff to the ambiance to the delicious food and the excellent wine.
Food was properly top notch. Nothing weird or experimental, but just really really good to eat. Plus unusually flexible menu structure, which was nice. Service was fine once it got started but there was a 10 minute gap between getting water as we sat down and getting menus and taking drinks orders. And the dining room is still that New York greige glamour that Ramsay was so keen on circa 2002 - I don't mind formal but this room felt stiff and oppressive. But I'd go again for that food.
This place is real find - I booked it completely on spec, looking for somewhere reasonably priced to meet some friends in the Chelsea area for lunch, and it completely surpassed all expectations. The staff were really charming and helpful and all menu choices we made from the generous options available were delicious. We were delighted with it all
Fabulous lunch, thank you. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic evening at one of my favorite restaurants. Service was excellent, we'd booked a 9pm table but a call in the afternoon allowed us to bring in it forward to 8. We had a table up stairs, and after a few minutes we quickly realised that we had a very noisy neighbour (elderly gentlemen with a earring aid either on a low setting or off!!!) After a quiet word, the staff were very kind in finding us a table downstairs with no bother, much appreciated. The food and wine were exceptional as always. Many thanks.
An outstanding dining experience that left us wanting an immediate return. Exciting, varied and balanced menu was a joy to peruse. Many thank from us for a wonderful evening! We’ll be back..
Excellent restaurant for a quiet and romantic dinner.
We had a very nice moment. We recommend you to a french friend who is living in London.
This restaurant serves well executed modern British food in delightful surroundings with very professional service. The set menus there provide a large number of choices. The set three course lunch is exceptional value at £35 (it is only £53 in the evening). With corkage at £10 (it is only £25 in the evening), it is exceptional value. Although not greatly situated (for me), I would go the extra mile down the Kings Road to World's End to experience this restaurant.
Great food, wonderful service and great advice given by staff who appear to genuinely want their diners to have the best experience possible. Thoroughly recommended for a treat.
I found this restaurant from a well-known guidebook and was hugely glad to have found it, here in the "kink" at the far end of the Kings Road. Definitely worth the bus ride. The complex delicious food is worth regaining the Michelin star in my opinion. Most impressive is that, rather than a single menu, they offer half a dozen choices for each course.
It’s always a friendly reception and immaculate service, good vibe and amazing food. Quite comprehensive wine list and a knowledgeable Somelier to help you out with your choice. Overall unforgettable Sunday lunch which we are turning into tradition now!
Could not fault anything.
We went for a special occasion and were not disappointed.
This restaurant is one of my favourites in London. It has an excellent lunch set menu (the dinner set menu is the same but more expensive). The food is delicious, well prepared (modern European) and the staff delightful and attentive. The corkage is very reasonable, which is useful for those who need to drink up wine from their cellars. I will be returning and it is well worth the effort to get to Worlds End to experience this lovely restaurant.
Attentive service, beautifully presented food, delicious and reasonably priced.
Gorgeous food, nice setting and great service. Certainly 'fancy', but not pretentious.
Excellent food carefully prepared and presented. This is a lovely restaurant where you are put at your ease and allowed to enjoy an unhurried meal. Excellent value.
Food was good considering the price; however, a few of the dishes were verging on the cold side of tepid. Although I am aware many restaurants favour serving a warm, over hot dish, due to taste (which I agree with), this was too cool for my liking.
Aside from the food, the waiter and sommelier were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The cheese board was great, and the array of different wine glasses presented during the evening were enviable.
This restaurant serves excellent quality food, cooked very well and the tastes are really nice. I recommend it highly. The service is nice too. The wine (not the cheapest wine list!) is well chosen so even their less expensive wines are worth trying.
Excellent food, wine and service. Cannot be faulted in any respect.
Celebrated my girlfriends birthday everything was perfect thankyou
Incredible staff and wonderful food for a reasonable 3 course pre fix.
If you love fancy french food this is the place. Great menu and fixed lunch is really good value. Lovely, perfectly slow french service. Wines were excellent. Will be recommending to friends. Second visit and would go back.
Just brilliant. Delicious food, well priced and a brilliant Somellier
Very accommodating with quiet professional service. Food was imaginative and served in a most attractive manner.
All considered a terrific luncheon experience.
Really lovely evening for my birthday and will defiantly be coming back :-)
Fabulous meal, as always. Food is flawless, with interesting choices cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Set price is amazing value for food of this quality. Service was on point. Can't wait to come back.
Medlar is a high quality restaurant on Kings Road.Food is of a high standard and wine list is up -market.
So is the clientele;you get the quality but pay the price
