Alfresco dining in elegant Rosendale design serving chef-made dishes crafted fresh & in-house daily with meat supplied by the legendary Flock & Herd.
The restaurant itself is cute and I like the deco. The service is great, and they even served our coke from the classic glass bottle insted of a can, and the glass had ice and a slice of lemon - so good attention to detail. The slate boards the food came in also served as good presentation. However, the drinks menu was disappointing - cocktails for happy were advertised but there was none in the menu. The food itself was average, we had burgers and nachos but they weren't anything special t all. It was average, and I personally wouldn't revisit here for food. I would recommend if you want to catch up for a drink in a somewhat quiet setting.
Restaurant was closed when we arrived and no one contacted me to apologise. I travelled from Liverpool to have a Christmas treat with my parents and it was ruined, we ended up with a take away
Great restaurant, food and service is excellent. They we’re especially accommodating with my 3 month old baby, I felt really welcomed, will definitely return.
Lovely brunch - great quality food and wonderful staff. Stylish venue too!
everything tasted so fresh and it was honestly the best restaurant burger I've had in London.
What a lovely spot for a relaxed family birthday brunch! The staff are truly lovely and the ambience is very laid back giving an ease to the venue as a whole. Great food at a great price and there's a cocktail list too & it was showing the world cup on a big screen - what more could you want! Fantastic spot & super easy to get to from the station!
Fantastic little find, great food, great music and just the nicest owners! We lived having a night here cant wait to come back again!
As always, Meet District hits the spot for a casual dinner out. Food is tasty, drinks are good and services friendly.
Had a great brunch here - oxtail Benedict is as amazing as it sounds! Lovely service too.
We had a very pleasant evening, unfortunately one of the orders was forgotten, but it was very aptly and quickly handled by staff. We were slightly disappointed that there were no steaks left, as it had been steak night the night before. It would make sense to order extra steaks if you have steak night, so people on other days can also enjoy steaks. :)
But staff was very friendly and welcoming and the wine we had was delicious and complemented all the food very well!
Very accommodating I was a late and they could change the booking.
My friends birthday they are able to make her feel loved! Brought a dessert with happy birthday written and played stevie wonder song to it!
When I needed paracetamol they gave me some! Also they gave us free cupcakes! Honestly loved this place amazing spot In Peckham with fantastic pancakes
Second time at Meet District with a different group of friends and everyone loved it. Babs was so attentive to the group and kept our bottomless flutes well topped up. Food and ambience was great, lovely place for a date or catch up with friends
Good food, good prices and laidback atmosphere. I would go again
Excellent local eatery. Fab breakfast. Well worth a visit
We enjoyed the food and the service was quietly efficient and helpful
Nice little place, it was empty but service was slow. We could have easily had 2-3 more rounds of drinks. Burger was ok. Good local beer selection. This place could be great!
Fantastic tasty burger, lovely relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff my only real criticism was the pricey wine options.
Lovely food (although the plantain portion was teeny weeny) and great atmosphere. Brilliant service
Meat District is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood
Absolutely amazing steak and the Plantain starter was delicious!
We really enjoyed the food at Meet District. I had the Rib-eye while my partner had a burger. The grilled veg was also nice as was the kelewele (friend plantains with peanuts). The cocktails were also very good. It would have been a great dining experience except the price, given location, was quite high we felt. It was £79 for two people including 2 drinks each, the meal, and the starter. While it's a new place and very nice compared to most in the area, it's still Peckham! The price would have been more acceptable if the the service was to the same level as the food. Unfortunately we waited quite some time before being asked for drink orders and then overall the service was quote slow although the restaurant wasn't anywhere near full. I would return if there was a special offer on or prices were lowered somewhat.
Delicious steak (really good), let down by poor service and dry over cooked chips. Had only been open a few weeks though so feeling optimistic that it'll sort itself out. The steak was enough that I'll defo be back.
