The food was lovely, couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend it; what I wouldn’t recommend is the service. Although the waitress was very attentive, when we arrived we told her that we had a voucher ‘tastecard’, the waitress said that we were mistaken and then subsequently tried to convience us otherwise right until I had to ask for the bill twice and continued to challenge the final amount until it was correct.

I would not recommend this place at all, firstly, it’s situated between Barclays Bank and Burger King so don’t let the fancy pictures fool you - it is not the cool vibe place it pretends to be. The food was really basic and cold despite of taking ages to bring. The place was almost empty and the tuff kept coming over to our table which is fine - probably better than not coming at all- but when the waitress asked my friend if she is done with her coffee when clearly half of her cup wa still fool we started raising our eyebrows. It wasn’t particularly disastrous but for the money you pay you can go to a really nice cool place like Caravan or German Gymnasium and have a really nice WARM brunch in a nice atmosphere.

I wasn't sure when I first arrived what to expect, however the set menu was excellent - portions were HUGE but delicious, The service was a little confused at time , but they are really nice and friendly. There is a hotel above so a nice ambience created from residents coming to eat. Its a great location just next to King Cross, so great for getting home too.

Booked a table for 8 people for brunch for a friend's hen do. We had a table upstairs and were the only people up there which was good as it meant we had our own area. 5 of us chose to do the unlimited prosecco option, which I mentioned when booking - once we sat at our table two bottles of prosecco were brought over, and every time one bottle was empty a fresh one was delivered. Food was lovely, no one had any complaints. Once finished, one of our party who had chosen to do the unlimited prosecco only ended up having one glass, so they just charged her for that instead. Service was fantastic, even though we were away from the rest of the restaurant we weren't forgotten about. Overall a great experience and I would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Handy for Kings Cross, staff were lovely. Food not great, beef tartar was like dog food and nettle pasta was completely tasteless. My friends liked their salmon and dessert was fine. Speed dating going on upstairs with a really loud whistle every 20 mins. Odd to have an event like that in a restaurant on a Friday night. I would avoid unless you need a kings Cross restaurant and everywhere else is booked up

Great food - the star of the show is the josper grilled meats. I've been looking for a decent, bookable eatery near King's Cross (for friends and family looking for a quick meal before catching the train home). Megaro does great meats, creative and seasonal starters, a wide-ranging drinks menu, and delicious deserts. Good, attentive, friendly service and an electric setting made a good meal into a very enjoyable experience.

Food was nice. We had the crushed avocado on sour dough, one with scrambled eggs and one with poached eggs and bacon.
It was a little noisy but that’s because it was busy.
The staff were fairly rude. They responded as though things were our fault rather than talking amongst themselves.
For example we paid for the bottomless prosecco, because there were three of us we asked the original server who was the manager apparently to leave the bottle as it would be easier. He was very accommodating.
When we asked for another bottle still in the 90 minute time frame we were questioned by the staff about how we got the bottle cooler and told we shouldn’t have been given this but it’s ok on this occasion.
Speak to your manager and don’t express your issues to us as your customers.
Another member of staff would not let us ask any questions. We were seeing a show and had ordered dessert thinking it would come out quickly since it was crumble and a cheese board.
It didn’t so we were trying to ask if it hadn’t been made then could we cancel it. The response was like we had accused the member of staff of putting the order in late!
We would go again if in the area because food was good but service needs to be improved.

We had a really enjoyable experience at The Megaro Eatery. The food was great, we didn't go for the bottomless option but we did get a bottle of their house prosecco which was delicious. The service was a little slow but we were a bit out of the way so that probably didn't help.

Not very good value for money. All sides were extra cost - so if you order steak, thats all you get with a choice of sauce. The cost soon adds up. Food was good though and service was good.

Such a nice venue and often lovely food, but it is a bit up and down. This time service was slow, a kir royale made with Prosecco and just generally a bit over-priced.
This place has so much potential. I wont be visiting for a while, but really hope in a few months it will have improved as I do genuinely have an affection for it.

Visited for the bottomless brunch offer. Food was average at best, service was poor.
We had to request a top up several times, were not offered desert menus and our change of £8 was not returned to us. This was in excess of the service that is automatically included in he Bill, so essentially we were charged over 20% for what was below par service. Wouldn't rush back
