Most enjoyable meal.It met all my expectations.
The service was both relaxed and efficient
We come here or every occasion since our daughter was born and not only is the service excellent but the food is fantastic. Coming from an Asian background I would highly recommend.
Service was outstanding. Food was exquisite, staff are very friendly and helpful atmosphere was really welcoming. Great for pics too
Trust me the food was incredible at this restaurant but the staff really made this evening extra special. From the entrance to the hotel , entrance to the restaurant , the staff behind the bar and the waiting staff everyone was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Really impressive experience and highly recommend!
Excellent service, amazing food
The décor was nice but that's about it. Our waitress was miserable and the food was mixed - some dishes were quite nice (but you'd still expect more at the price) and others were so bad that we left them uneaten. The cocktail I ordered was horrible (it tasted like cough syrup) and I had to send it back - to be fair to them, at least they didn't charge me for it. I definitely won't be going back. On the other hand, the main bar (Rotunda Bar) in the same hotel is divine and serves amazing (albeit expensive) cocktails and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Really lovely food, fantastic Service, venue and location. Only slight down side was portion size in relation to cost. But the food was high quality and delicious. Great find.
This was our 2nd visit to Mei Ume, our 1st date and 10 months later to celebrate our 1st Christmas together. Both occasions we’re extremely special and we enjoyed absolutely everything...food, wine and service. All excellent
Friendly staff and excellent service. Great Sake list, tasty food, great for lunch!
The food is excellent, the service outstanding, we would recommend this restaurant our closest friends!!
The Ambience of the place is amazing and the food taste very good. The portions are relatively small and it is a-bit on the expensive side. However, if your feeling boujee then this place is LIT.
Had the misfortune to sit next to two drunk, sweary business men dispensing relationship advice to each other, but not the restaurants fault. Everything else first class and will go back again
We had a fabulous evening celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were very well looked after and the food was outstanding. We will be back again soon to try even more of the yummy menu. Thank you so much.
Amazing food and setting
The first thought is that this name should be Japanese food, but turned out to be a good Chinese food Restaurant in Four Seasons
Food was good, portion size small, service a bit clueless sometimes
Service and Food are outstanding as always!
Great service and great food! Enjoyable experience....hidden gem of a restaurant in the Four Season Hotel. Good value for the set lunch..... Excellent choices for starters which you can share on the table. Only a slight negative...only one choice of desert which was ice-cream or sorbet.
One of the best restaurants I have never been. fantastic Japanese food. Stunning location. I love it all.
We're no doubt two foodies but we are definitely not used to this kind of fancy food (I wish we were).
The food was amazing and the whole atmosphere was pleasant and even felt luxury.
The prices were fine as well for this kind of restaurant.
Had such a lovely evening. Beautiful surroundings, attentive servers and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back.
A beautiful restaurant with beautiful food. Service was good but not exceptional hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
Some of the best food in London. Wonderful service and a beautiful setting. Doesn’t get much better than this.
Excellent food and amazing service as always
The service doesn’t seem to match with the cost of the meal. They seem to be understaff. Not satisfactory given the Four Season brand name.
We went for the set menu on Saturday, and whilst good value, you would hope that it gave you an insight to the main menu and encouraged you to return. Unfortunately it seemed to have been very much engineered to the price and consisted of a lot of fried batter without any merit or meat, and overall ranked below a standard high street take away. Not fine dining and not busy either.
Loved the food highly recommend
One of the best Chinese restaurants in London. Food was amazing, especially the green beans with minced pork and the grilled teriyaki chicken; service was greats, waiters were super nice and friendly; desserts were delicious; and such a beautiful restaurant. Will definitely come back soon!
Lovely food, amazing service. Waiters and waitresses were polite and did an amazing job.
If you like Chinese food, this is Chinese high end. Stunning surroundings, excellent service. Pricey but worth the money
Good service and good food as usual.
As a solo traveller enjoying a fine dine now and then I would really recommend the place. I got great assistance in compiling my menu. I enjoy eating my food at the bar and the two young chefs at the bar (one Korean, the other Scottish/Thai) were amazing chats. I arrived at 12:00 sharp, but due to their engaging chats and impeccable service it never felt like dining alone.
Amazing food, amazing design, amazing staff. Just AMAZING!!!
Service was perfect, but food was not up to what i was expecting. Just felt like another hotel restaurant and could have been a lot better.
Sushi was amazing especially the avo, salmon and crab roll with miso butter, service was good but there was no ambience what so ever, the restaurant was not full even for a Saturday night, perhaps this is due to location, I think it would probably be busy in the week with city workers.
Nothing amazed me from our mains, the short rib was all fat and no meat, so do not get this. Black cod was okay, kung po chicken and crispy veal were okay too.
Yuzu creme brûlée was lovely.
Overall I think this restaurant is unfortunately just a ‘hotel restaurant’ but I would go back if I was in the area, however, I would not plan to go back.
Service was good, very helpful staffs and food was great.
The restaurant is beautiful but I found the food on the average side. With the Peking Duck the pancakes were too thick and the duck carved too thick as well. The pancakes break when you fold them etc.
The tempura vegetables were not very good. The vegetables weren’t fresh and the batter way to thick and soggy. The Maki was ok but similar in quality to what you can buy in Tesco.
Service was friendly but all over the place with staff seemingly struggling to cope. We were served by several different people had to ask for menus after 15 mins and so on.
All in all the evening was not terrible but it was far from great. Just an average hotel restaurant. For the price of the meal (£200+) for two people, the quality needs to be much better as other Japanese and Chinese restaurants in London have much better quality of food and service overall.
Exquisite food, and exceptional service. A really tremendous dining experience.
Excellent service, amazing food
Disappointed by mediocre and ludicrously overpriced Chinese food.
