Mele E Pere
We are three brothers and a friend who set out on a journey to create a genuine neighbourhood Trattoria reminiscent of the fabulous family-run places of northern Italy, where we all grew up.
You should feel just as comfortable popping in for a glass of home-made vermouth and some sharing plates at the bar as you should taking your time to work through the menu in the dining room.
We cook our seasonal and daily-changing menu with British produce and exceptional Italian ingredients. All of our pasta, desserts and ice-creams are made in our kitchen fresh every day. We have London’s largest selection of Vermouths behind our bar and our exclusively Italian wine list has loads of options for you available by the glass and carafe.

Great host. Great food
We had the set menu for Sunday lunch and it was super. Friendly staff and extremely tasty pasta! We’ll be back!
Great food, friendly staff, always a lively and busy spot - can't recommend the scallop gnocchi enough!
Absolutely loved it. The food is delicious and also Lucio makes the best Vermont!
Lovely cosy vibe! The fresh pasta was delicious, definitely coming again to try the pizza. The staff are friendly and helpful. Found a new fave spot!
Short menu not a great deal of choice but some excellent pasta and a very nice salad. They were also helpful in cobbling together some cheese from the kitchen. We ate upstairs at tiny table to avoid noise downstairs. Wine was good, but it was an alternative bottle and a bit more expensive than the one we'd chosen.. Should have been told the price difference or not charged the extra.
Visited after theatre show. Welcomed by friendly staff. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and left us to decide. The venue has a wonderful bar area and live music playing around 9pm. Three courses and wine at £50 per head. Food delicious -only note is that the menu is not that extensive.
Great for a casual lunch, good location, friendly service.
Food and service was great. Great location, only a 4 minute walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station.
Great food and venue - unfortunately the table of young ladies next to us were having a lot of fun
Absolutely amazing experience. We able to move tables with no problem. The waitress, Verona was fantastic.
Food and drinks were delicious!
Definitely going back!
Staff really polite and accommodating. Nice venue and centrally located in Soho
Very limited menu
But what I had was good
Only complaint there wasn’t much of a choice
One of my favourite restaurants. Helpful cheery service. Quick turnaround great for midweek. Tasty and authentic food.
Chilled environment, attentive service and quality food. What else can you ask for? Would recommend it!
Great service and amazing food. Will definitely be back.
Had to ask for water x3 times, napkins x2 times, foccaccia x1 time but never arrived but still appeared on bill. Heard neighbouring table ask for items several times too. Pizza was also a pretty sad and limp affair. Service with a smile, but obvious problems.
The best t-bone steak I've ever had!
Food was amazing. We had the burrata with figs and a walnut pesto - gooey and delicious. And then the special, Lamb with carrot + artichokes and a minted potato mash. So, so good. We’ll definitely go again
Used the OpenTable fixed price menu. The price wasn't shown on the menu card so I had to check. The food was tasty but the portion sizes were variable; especially gnocchi was a small portion. Good value, service & ambience for pre-theatre.
Practically perfect in every way
Had a lovely mid-week dinner here with my Mum. The set menu deal is always fabulous because the food is delicious and such great value. We had a great meal and will definitely be returning.
The perfect date location, with kind and attentive staff. Amazing food and excellent set menu for a really good price. We would definitely like to come here again!
Great basement restaurant. Good food and excellent staff despite being very busy
Lovely staff. Attentive. Delicious food. Spaghetti with pumpkin and ravioli with Gorgonzola were highlights.
As always, a very lovely evening. The set menu is fantastic value for money. Bravo team!
Great food and inspiring atmosphere
Gnocchi were chewy and not good at all but everything else and the atmosphere were really nice
Great value for money, fantastic food for the price.
Food good for the price in the heart of London good value would definitely go again.
Disappointed about the poor quality of the food I am afraid. Expensive for what you get.
We have used Mele e Pere on several occasions. Always impressed by the quality of food and the warmth of service. Their early evening menu is excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food, excellent service - I would recommend asking your waiter if you're unsure what to order (as it all sounds incredible)!
Good, wholesome Italian food. Fun, friendly waiters and a pleasant, cool ambience. A bit more expensive than I would have expected but would certainly consider again for special occasions.
Excellent but modestly sized menu which means what food they make, is very well done. Great starters and the pasta dishes are all great. Their Vermouth drinks are well worth going for too.
The staff were extremely welcoming, attentive, offered help on choosing from the menu. The food was amazing all round, none of us had a complaint. A beautiful restaurant that I would recommend and definitely go back to.
Good wasn’t great. Fair that was only 20 pounds a head with starter and main but quality of food wasn’t great
To start with I cannot fault the service. The waiter was really friendly, efficient and helpful - it’s the food that really let things down. Starters were fine. They were tasty and did what they said on the tin. The main courses were the real disappointment. The pasta dishes were incredibly bland and very very watery and the pizzas were bland and very doughy. Steak looked like it had been cooked in a fry pan. Overall, 7 fairly unfussy eaters left full but no one said their meal was good. The wines and the cocktails were very nice but £17 for a glass of chianti classico is also a bit on the steep side.
Overall, I would say it’s a good place to go for a drink and some nibbles but don’t go for dinner. Italian is supposed to be simple food done really well. This was simple but not great.
An amazing experience! I recently took my girlfriend here for a date night and it ticked all the boxes. The downstairs has a great ambience and Ilenia was an incredible server who chose the best vermouths for our tastings. I'll be bringing clients and partners here in the future.
Been many times. Love the ambience. Nice food, good service.
