   Disgusting all around. Basically a typical tourist scam restaurant with a disgusting attitude. Our food came out cold, asked if they could check and just heat it up. After multiple people touched, literally touched with their naked finger no gloves or nothing, instead of making a new one they brought back the exact same food. The server was very rude and ignorant to be the least. After all that they brought the bill that was very hard to read, when I asked them to reprint so I can read they had the audacity to include their “Discretionary Service Charge”. After all that nasty, disgusting food and service, sneak in a discretionary service charge? Again, a typical tourist scam. In simple, avoid at all cost. Just another tourist scam restaurant. Disgusting.

   We had a great evening at Mele E Pere. We booked for early evening after we had been to the theatre. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic too. We had our children with us and the waiter was brilliant with them. The food was delicious too. Highly recommend.

   The restaurant itself is so pretty, service was good (I keep seeing reviews that say service is bad here, which isn’t true). My spaghetti alle vongole was average, the spaghetti wasn’t al dente like I requested but it was still nice.

   This is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in London! Everything my friend and I had was delicious, and service was quick and friendly. I often don’t go back to restaurants in London simply because there is so much choice but I fully intend to come back here.

   I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and the food has been very good. Decided to go with a few friends to celebrate my birthday last Saturday. The place was very busy and the staff seemed quite overwhelmed. The pasta (mussels) I got was not the best but the starters and desserts were very good. The waiter was very nice and attentive.

   Lovely restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The pappardelle with truffles are outstanding as was the Primitive wine we had. The tiramisu is also very good. The service was really good and very helpful regarding advice. The only slight problem arose when we asked to pay the service charge separately in cash and not added to the bill. This seemingly needed the manager to come and question us. Surely it should have just been done, with no questions asked! But it was only a slight blot on an otherwise perfect evening.

    We enjoyed the food, it was well presented and delicious. We did ask for a quiet corner table because we going to be seeing relatives we hadn’t seen in years and needed to catch up. The noise level did go up when the 20+ table with a birthday celebration raised the roof but that’s not the restaurant’s issue it’s a people issue. Cocktails were good so that made up for it. I’d recommend for a casual evening out.

    The food was fantastic. We were a group of 5 and we had two mains and a dessert. The panna cotta and tiramisu were absolutely delicious. The service didn’t get off to the best start; there seemed to be an issue with our booking, but our waiter was super friendly and extremely helpful, so we ended up having a wonderful time. The food arrived really promptly and was nice and hot when it got to our table. The ambience was good, nothing spectacular but definitely good. I was too busy thoroughly enjoying my meal to really take the ambience in. All in all a great dining experience. I would certainly recommend for a good hearty meal. We went as a group but I can also see this being a great spot for a date or even drinks.

    We booked for 6pm, had we known the pre theatre menu stops at 6, we'd have booked at 5.45. The writing on the menus is tiny and in a grey font so we needed our phone torches to read it! Good range of dishes on the menu but not a single vegetarian pasts dish so we had to request one. When the bill came we were charged for 2 large glasses of wine when we'd ordered standard ones. Luckily we spotted it and the bill was corrected. Finally, we were asked how much top we wanted to pay even though service charge was included in the bill.

    We booked this for lunch the restaurant was clean and well kept. The food was lovely and fresh service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend this as we had no problems at all.

    Came for prix fixe (pre theatre but we had plenty of time), the main came out 3 times before my friend had finished her starter which meant it was not hot and probably past it’s best. Tiramisu was lovely.

    Having been so impressed on our first visit last year, tonight’s was so, so disappointing. The food was overpriced and under portioned. Spaghetti alle vongole at £18 was tiny, insipid, watery, gritty and with over-large pieces of chilli. Beef ragu was also not up to par. Tiramisu was gloopy, and strangely also dry - there was no booze or coffee detectable in it at all - and at £7.50 it was shameful. Our friend ordered the Sundae and I thought I was back in the 1980s for it was adorned with ….. SQUIRTY CREAM. For £7? Seriously, it was like a bad joke. Good job the show we went to see after was hilarious. The restaurant is looking a bit tired and the staff even more so, although they were very friendly. Sorry Mele E Pere, it’s a no from us.

    Pre-show dinner - and what a treat! The food was superb, the cocktails just right and the service perfect. Our waitress Ileania was attentive and fun. Can’t fault a thing.

    Booked Mele E Pere at the last minute to have a pre theatre bite and we were very impressed! The ambience was great - service impeccable (congrats to all) and the food excellent! Loved the zucchini fritti chips and the chicken was delicious. Pasta was al dente with a rich ragu sauce and not too huge a portion either. Even had room to share a cheeky spagnole desert! Will definitely be back.

    As always service was very good and food ordered was well presented . Staff were really good throughout the evening and made regular visits to our table to ensure everything was ok, Pasta and Pizza is a good choice . Nice vibe about the place and for a Wednesday really busy so just shows its worth a visit even if you want to sit at the bar and have a some small plates .

    We ordered late because one of our party was delayed by Underground problems. Still, we told the staff that we had theatre tickets and needed to leave at 7:15. We enjoyed our appetizers, but after a very long wait for the entree we learned that the server had put in only one order and that wasn't ready. At this point it was 7:00 so we cancelled the entrees and paid the bill. Everyone knew what was going on, including a manager and an owner, but there was barely an apology. Beyond that, they could have at least comped the bar bill, which was only two glasses of wine. Very disappointing, and we left hungry.
