The concept behind Meraki stemmed from the Waney family’s (Zuma, Roka, La Petit Maison) special affinity for Greece, developed whilst vacationing with friends on the islands. They were enamored by the quality of ingredients, flavorsome food and the warmth of the people.
In Greek, Meraki describes the action to fulfil a vision with unwavering devotion and zeal, and represents the act of doing something with such great passion that you leave a bit of yourself in the creative process.
This ties in with the ethos of our brand, the principle of Greek hospitality (Xenia) of compassionately extending the same hospitality to a humble stranger as you would to a celebrity. The human element and social responsibility is deeply ingrained in the family’s value system and practices.

The food was excellent, unfortunately, the service and waiter weren't the best though:
I had hair in my food, the waiter apologized and took back the dish, replaced it and said that this would not be charged. Then he forgot to bring the complimentary dips and the wine that we ordered. When the bill came, it was much higher than expected as he had, instead of billing a lunch menu, billed “a la carte” prices, after back and forward the bill was amended but no discount was given for the dish that had been returned.
Despite this very bad experience we still think the food in this place is outstanding.
3rd time going to Meraki lovely greek restaurant. The food is amazing. I particularly loved the tarama, keftedes and crispy potatoes were a delight. We had an issue with one of our desserts , we ordered a chocolate mouse however it was not mentioned it was a warm mouse (unfortunately we did not check the menu and ordered by asking the waitress what they had). Upon being aware of the situation, the manager was kind enough to remove not only the warm mousse but also the rest of our desserts. Overall it was a great meal at Meraki. Will definitely go back
Consistently good with superbly fresh produce and amazing staff. Highly recommended.
Always a reliably very delicious meal, for lunch or for dinner.
I had a requested a private table and was told there wasn’t anything available, but when one of my guest arrived and spoke in Greek that the table wasn’t suitable, we were then moved. I guess he looked more important even though I was the bill payer.
We came to Meraki for business lunch and the service was extremely slow. The restaurant was empty therefore we were quite surprised that it took almost 40 minutes for mains to arrive. The food was delicious though.
The food service and value were first class.
We will be visiting again very shortly.
Delicious food and great service
We had a very nice time at Meraki. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lovely (although the soundtrack could have been less party-like on a Sunday evening), and the food very good! I would love to come back for the tasting menu next time.
Everything was just amazing!
Modern twist on Greek food, some plates were outstanding. The lamb chop with hummus was great, and the smoked aubergine is something I’d come back for. However, the plate sizes were astonishingly small for the amount charged.
Sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended an excellent pairing, however the wine sold was heavily marked up.
The restaurant currently takes social distancing measures pretty seriously, and all the food was handled with care and servers were wearing the appropriate PPE.
The good did not disappoint, it was amazing. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. Our waiter was not, he seemed unhappy and unhelpful. Not sure what the problem was, but he definitely acted like he didn't like his job or us.
We paid 147 pounds even though we had only one glass of wine, for that money we expected a lot more. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing either, even though they should be based on their prices. Some dishes, like the olive oil ice cream, had no taste. Also it was too noisy for my liking.
Absolutely superb - just unhappy I haven’t visited sooner. Last second plan so sat at the counter which was actually very enjoyable.
In my opinion a different league to OPSO and their ridiculous prices.
It was very good
We had a lovely lunch at Meraki - the food was delicious and the service was very good. The main courses looked very small as they were served on small plates, but it was actually a normal amount of food, it was an odd choice to do it that way, and made it a bit tricky to eat as it nearly fell off the sides! All in all a lovely place, I would go again.
Poor service. No attention to detail. Loud staff and unpleasant experience. Ruined birthday surprise despite careful planning in advance. Disappointing.
The new menu is so good!
Awesome restaurant. We were a group of three. wish we were a group of ten because so many dishes are sharing dishes. I wish I could have tried even more of the menu. Staff are fantastic too. Will definitely be back v soon
The server at our table made me feel very uncomfortable, we was the last order of the day and he waited over us to clear our table to a point it was obvious he wanted to go. He lent over to speak to me so he was at my sitting level and got way to close! We was at the table for 1.5 hours so not long. Food was good, place is lovely but the service really spoilt it. When our server finished his shift what looked like the manager who had lots of piercings and jewellery was very grumpy clearing our table and again made us feel uncomfortable. They need to work on making customers happy whilst they are there because every thing else was great.
The front of the house were beyond incompetent and useless. I called at 10:54 to change my party size and when I showed up at 12:20 they had no reservation and looked at me like that was that. Had I not had 5 others joining I would’ve left and they would’ve let me. Server was largely clueless. No evident hospitality skills anywhere. New menu. Food really really good, but you pay for it. Management can save this place or let it finish falling off a cliff in spite of really nice food.
The food was exceptional, cannot fault it. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and great at recommendations. Things fell apart at the end of service. We were suddenly rushed when asked if we wanted to order dessert, then told what we couldn’t order because it would take us over our allotted time? The manager insisted we would’ve received an email stating that our table was only for 2 hours... I checked and I didn’t! Then the lady getting my coat was rude and full of of attitude. She was struggling to find my coat even after giving her my ticket. I gave her a description of what my coat looked like and then she snapped! Left a sour taste. Incredible inappropriate and unprofessional! I was nothing but polite with her and she suddenly had some warped sense of superiority.
In future, if your table is only held for a certain length of time, it would be wise for the hosts at the door, the people calling you to confirm reservation and the email reminder sent ahead of your reservation to make that clear!
The service was definitely not attentive enough. They keep delivering food to the wrong tables. Also we asked the bill for more than 4 times and it took more than 20 mins to get the check.
The food was incredible (as always) and all the staff were incredibly friendly. It was a perfect dinner.
We loved this place, the food, the ambience, the service and the decor were wonderful. We had a fresh turbot for the table with an olive oil and lemon sauce that was the best I've ever tried. The flavor was so delicate and lovely. Everything else we had was wonderful too, they really know how to cook, they use premium ingredients and cook them perfectly in a Greek style. The sommelier have us a great wine recommendation, the waiter was so friendly and accommodating, we even had the manager come over and talk to us. You feel really well taken care of. Even if this hasn't been the case, the food is the only excuse you need to visit. We will definitely come back again and again to order every other thing in the menu. It is pricey, but well worth the visit.
Very good quality of food and the atmosphere, a bit noisy
It was a lovely experience. Very attentive staff and tasty food. Great for sharing!
Meraki food never disappoints... fresh and delicious!
Reservation was at 9pm and table wasn’t ready until almost 10. Music was extremely load, but the food was EXCELLENT, so it was worth the wait.
Very happy with whole experience, food, staff, ambience and overall service, would definitely come again and recommend to friends and work colleagues.
(Although have been asked to rate my experience repeatedly and daily since Thursday, all of which I’ve responded too, perhaps less hassling post emails could be addressed, slight overkill!)
I've been there a few times in the past and I was really satisfied by the service and vibes of this place.
This time things were different as there was some new staff that didn't follow the flow - I believe the new staff need more training to understand the philoshophy of this style of cuisine.
Furthermore, most importantly the person that served us had dirty nails, which I find unacceptable.
Excellent food very tasty
Amazing experience and exquisite taste. Very well managed and wonderfully staffed.
On of the best, if not the best, Greek restaurant in London!
The lobster orzo is phenomenal
Our waiter made it beautiful
Ive eaten here twice and loved the food. Very good service and a really nice place with a pleasant ambience, perfect for a nice dinner without it being too crazy/ loud. Good for family, friends or on a date, good for catching up as you can talk easily.
The salt baked sea bass with greens was superb
Amazing food ! Best Greek restaurant ever💕
