The Met Natick
Sweet Potato Fries
cinnamon-sugar / horseradish ranch
garlic / parmesan / crunchy butter
Looking forward to going there again. I had the Manhattan burger and it was delicious.
My order was incorrect. Usually when this happens at other restaurants a manager would come by to inquire , this did not occur. Refills on drinks were also slow.
One big MEH for this place. The bar area looks nice, but we were seated in the back part of the restaurant is it was so brighyly lit that it felt unsettling. Our server had zero personality and was not terribly attentive. Overpriced and the food was just okay.
Great place to go for dinner in the Natick Mall. There is a very good variety of entrees and prices are reasonable. The choice of burgers in a bowl with arugula are very good. They have a large and very good choice of craft beer on tap. Our only complaint is that we sat at a table with 4 chairs near the bar and it was very cold. We asked if they could turn up the heat and the waiter told us they had turned it up. It got a little better, but was still chilly.
Very fresh and delicious!! Highly recommend! Bit pricey but still worth a trip!
Very personable waitress.
The Met Natick is a great dining option at The Natick Mall. We sat in the bar area which was busy. The burger choices are creative and very good, we got with arugula instead of a bun. The turkey burger and beef burger were very good. For a small upgrade you can get a large portion of brussel sprouts or other vegetable instead of fries. They have a large selection of draft and bottled beers. The waitress was very attentive and gave us great service.
Does not compare at all to the Met Back Bay. Hostess seemed overwhelmed and picked up the ringing phone and hung it up saying “these people”! Service was slow and no follow up - we needed silverware, someone’s order was incorrect and wanted another round of drinks but the server was busy waiting a large table and someone else dropped the food. My burger was way overcooked. Ambiance is cold and sterile in the main dining room. We had a party of 5 and were given a long rectangular booth for 4 and they pulled up a chair on the other side. Table was narrow (meant for 4 in the booth) so it was awkward and cramped. I used to dine here a lot but this may be my last visit. I do like the bar area though... the service and ambiance is much better. Still does not excuse the food.. and maybe better training for the hostess and main dining room staff
Food was good and came fast
Great food and bar service
Loved our meal today!
Solid meal here tonight. Deviled eggs, Parmesan Fries, a few different Burgers, sweet potato fries, cole slaw, eggplant sandwich.... all excellent. Loved the beer selection... Boom Sauce on tap. Fantastic service from Jenny.
Like eating in a cafeteria. Terrible atmosphere.
Restaurant was not busy so not really sure what was going on today... service was horrible the food took almost 40 min to arrive without being address by our waitress, we watched numerous groups eat and leave who had arrived before us. Two steak meals were ordered neither were cooked the requested way. Now on top of the poor service/food delivery we were there for our brother's 19th birthday, I have never used opentable and put a "special occasion" down, without there being some type of offering for cake/dessert literally ANYTHING, they did nothing at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the entire visit.
Overall we love eating here and will be back, but our experience today will defiantly deter that visit from happening for awhile, maybe they need a new waitstaff.
The food & service were both very good but it was overpriced, the tables were too close together therefore we had little privacy, and it was very noisy
We were out at a table in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. This area is like being in a whole different restaurant. Nothing like the front of the restaurant.
our waitress was very inattentive we waited almost 40 minutes just for burgers that will cold upon delivery.
Really disorganized. Food was good.
1 of the two orders came out wrong and then it was minimally corrected. Restaurant on a Saturday night wasn't even that busy.
It was just ok.... loud and food was average
Looking forward to returning to the Met soon! At times, the waitress struggled coming through with things we asked for like ketchup, a dessert menu, etc., but the experience was generally good.
It’s in the mall so it suffers on ambiance. We were sat adjacent to the bar so a bartender was our server and we were largely ignored. I had to go up to the bar to ask for another glass of wine (it had turned) and waited a long time to check in on the food as I was hoping to get some aioli for my fries. She didn’t seem to know what aioli was either...
Steak tips were so-so and we’re supposed to come with arugula like a steak frites but they were instead served with a minuscule pile of possibly watercress? Didn’t taste like arugula. Overall, experience was fair. Good wine by the glass selection.
Had a nice table. Not too noisy; I could speak with and hear my wife without straining to understand! Food is always hot and tasty.
Have yet to have a bad visit to The Met Bar. We did get seated at a high top booth, which we aren’t fans of, but move to the living room kind of area. Food was great, as was the service. It’s not the ‘best restaurant I’ve ever been to’ but it’s consistently very good/4 stars out of 5. It’s becoming a regular for us.
It's not bad overall, but the drinks are not good at all. We had to send one back because it was not drinkable. Even the server agreed!
Also, the cocktails have an enormous ice cube, reducing the size to about half the size of a normal cocktail with a price that does not warrant the size of the drink.
Although they may have remodeled the restaurant they haven’t remodeled the menu or the food. Everything was just okay. Hadn’t been there in awhile and the burger was tasteless. Nowhere near as good as I remembered. I’ve had better burgers at 5 Guys down the street. The rice bowl was also lackluster. For the money, I’d go find somewhere else unless they step it up.
Service was great, food was excellent, and the food came out very promptly (to the point that it was very surprising). It was obvious the foot was freshly made, as it was piping hot. Fried were crisp, burger was great, and my wife's pasta bolognese was also excellent. Solid beer selection as well.
Unfortunate we don't live closer by, or we'd visit more often!
We had a wonderful dinner last night. I had the Asian bowl, my husband the turkey club, our son had the brick chicken and daughter-in-law had veggie burger. All of us loved our dinners. We also had the calamari for an appetizer which also was great. We would definitely eat here again.
Hate the new decor and lighting. Service is awful.
Empty restaurant and one of our party had to walk up to the bar to get his drink,
while our server was otherwise engaged. Food was okay but lighting is way too
bright and glaring and the ambience there that I enjoyed is gone. Apparantly the
service is too. Food was pretty decent. Won't be running back for my weekly
friday night burger and martini night as we used to do.
I’ve been here before and the service was good. Unfortunately this time I took my sis there for a late lunch meeting up with friends and the waitress sat us, took our orders and we had to wait awhile to get our drinks. Wasn’t even busy. Then we waited over 30mins and no site of our waitress or food! Had to wave down a different waiter to check on our food. Finally he brought our plates. Very disappointed on the lack of service from our waitress this time.
Dinner was great, the service was top notch!
I’ve walked by The Met many, many times while visiting the Natick Mall. My wife and I had been wanting to try it, but weren’t sure how the experience would be with our toddler with us. Turns out, it was fantastic. The staff was great with our 2 year old and very accommodating both in terms of seating and food options. Plus the burgers were delicious as were the fries. We’ll definitely be back.
would only recommend the seating out near the bar...the rest of the restaurant is so brightly lit at night that it looks and feels like a cheap cafeteria! The seats in the lounge area are very annoying as they are built for a man who is 6 foot 6 (everyone else cannot lean back in them as they are so big) but it is better than the bright lights. The food this time was fair.... the soup was served very cold...as was the other food. Expensive for what it is.
Restaurant had few people dining and yet the table they chose to sit my party of two at was a tiny table directly alongside a family of five with three young children. I requests a different table and was told they are all for larger parties -- reluctantly I was brought to a slightly larger table. We ordered the calamari which was very bland and not seasoned. -- not sure what type of cheeses are used for the Mac & Cheese however it is nothing special. They allowed us no time to eat the appetizer before announcing "your meals are ready". I would not recommend the Met Natick MA. However if you can make the trip to the Met in Boston MA it is fantastic !
It was relatively late on a Friday evening in a mall setting, so there were not many patrons in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we were initially seated near a large group of women who were obviously having a good time and were very loud. We asked our server if we could be seated elsewhere and he cheerfully obliged us. Our food was good and the service was excellent.
Food was fantastic, burgers got raves from out of town visitors and the nachos were unique and tasty. Service was a little slow given the light crowd.
Really glad to see a return to the “multiple burger” options (love the Tokyo Burger).
Food is very good and reasonably priced. It's not the best of the best, but it's solid. The menu is not huge, but there are interesting options. Service in the past has been good. This last time it was amazing. Noise was pretty high (Mother's Day), but when we asked to turn the music down, that helped (it was still packed in a place with hard walls and bouncing acoustics). It's not the kind of place, IMO, that you recommend to someone who wants a special night out, but it's a solid choice in the Natick Mall area.
The food was decent. They made one order wrong but the bill was corrected easily. Although the restaurant was extremely quiet our waitress was inattentive as she only stopped by once after our food was served to see if everything was okay, at that point we had basically finished the meal. The restaurant was clean and ambiance was fine but everything about the service was slow.
I was underwhelmed. There was no brunch menu on a Sunday even though it was mentioned quite a bit online. We arrived at 11am but didn't realize that it didn't open until 11am. That's on us, but in reality the staff were just hanging out and even opened the door a little later. One of the lunch orders we put in had a type of cheese not mentioned on the menu that pregnant women aren't supposed to eat, and we had to send it back. The food was ok. The service was fine. The menu was pretty basic though. Food portions were very big. I wouldn't recommend going here for brunch/lunch given the options in the area.
The menu has declined and been dumbed down. Was understaffed and the servers seemed overwhelmed. Won't return
