I have been to Mews of Mayfair a number of times and always find the service and food to be really good. I think I must have been unlucky this time as the beef short rib was not at the usual high standard.
Went with a friend and it was lovely. Im going with my partner next weekend. It’s a very romantic place.
Visited Mews Brasserie for the first time for Sunday lunch which was most enjoyable and good value. The only down side to the meal was that cauliflower cheese isn't on the menu. The restaurant has cauliflower and naturally cheese but despite our request it wasn't possible to amalgamate the 2. This isn't a complaint as I understand that kitchen's are under pressure during service but by going that extra step would have turned the experience into a 5 out of 5 rather than a 4. The service was freindly, unhurried and efficient and there is a good selection of wines reasonably priced given the location. I would definitely return to sample the A La Carte menu.
Great dog friendly venue - a great find in central London. Helpful staff and good food.
Dropped a star as didn’t apply the 20% discount advertised and didn’t have our first choice of food.
Service was very slow and forgetful.
The food took 40 minutes to arrive!
Good food at a decent price and in a great location.
Very helpful and friendly staff the food was lovely too
Réservation à la Brasserie: cuisine horrible ! Trop cuit et trop salé !! Une horreur...
Cadre et service agréables. Dishes too salty and overcooked !
Great location for meeting family or friends, just behind busy shopping streets of london. I can also take my doggy which is great. The staff is super friendly. The only criticism would be that it is very loud. We could hardly hear each other visiting with my girlfriend visiting for lunch.
The food was pleasant with delightful service. New Year’s Eve is not the easiest of evening and we were very happy with our choice
Food is not good at all.
Three of us had lunch in this secret hideaway and we loved it!! Beautiful setting and totally charming staff. X
Venison and partridge were great
Lovely food but terrible service. Had to carry our wine bucket and glasses upstairs to our table and then get up halfway through dinner to order more drinks as the waiter had disappeared. The girl who took our payment at the end was completely vacant and couldn’t work out how to split the bill between two people.
Have eaten here a lot in the past. It's been a while but as good as ever.
Went for Saturday lunch with three others in the Brasserie. Only the brunch menu was available which was not made clear at the time of booking or on the website. Choices were very limited and disappointing. We were also told as soon as we sat down that the table was only ours for 2 hours. Again this was not communicated to us at the time of booking. Food is very expensive for what it is. £20 for a basic burger and chips. Save your money and go elsewhere!!
A little noisy because we were sat near a big table but nice otherwise!
A great evening meal with colleagues. A delightful evening
Really enjoyed our lunch. Food was great! Had a dish I wouldn’t cook myself at home. Coconut petit fours with coffee- nice touch!
I think the best meal ( long leg partridge) ever i had since i leave in London !
Always lovely staff and welcoming. They’re dog friendly and are really accommodating of small pups
One of our favourite places to run to for dinner when in London. Tucked away in a lively mews you can either stay downstairs and be livelier or upstairs is quieter. The food is great and service top notch.
The restaurant was a bit on the noisy side, but the ambiance was very good. The menu choice was a bit limited for Bunch/Lunch, but the quality and taste of the food made up for it.
We tried Mewsof Mayfair Brasserie level for a casual Saturday lunch and it was a real treat. We went straight to main course options: a veggie and a beef burger and both were smashing with plenty of excellent fries. We had a slightly longer wait than we would have liked for drinks as some of the cocktails need to be made downstairs - they were ok, but not mind-blowing.
We ordered the sharing pie for dessert which apparently collapsed on its way to us. As this appeared to be cosmetic only, we insisted on having it rather than see it go to waste and the floor manager offered us free cocktails in return. A very generous gesture.
Service was friendly if slightly reserved but we would love to go back to try other menu options.
This part of the Mews of Mayfair is a proper indoor restaurant with a competent menu and wonderful staff. Our small gathering was surprised at how pleasant it was, given that the entrance is via a raucous alleyway of crowded outdoor dining for affiliated restaurants.
The four stars for value is in the context of Mayfair, which is something of a food desert below the extra-super-posh-see-and-be-seen crowd locations. We will definitely return when we want to see friends in a place that's convenient to Mayfair and not too full of itself.
As usual a very pleasant dining experience, nice waitress, nice welcome and the fish and chips were excellent along with the pineapple delice
Nice décoration. We waited 15 minutes at the bar for someone to take our order and it was far from full on a thursday evening. Diner was ok except the waiter didnt say it was not possible to have rare cooking for burger. So burger arrived to cooked and was sent back. We had to order something else and couldnt eat at the same time.
Seat outside .....weather permitting....worth the wait (if there is one)
The pork chop was beautiful, not enough sauce for me though. We ordered "creamed spinach" and when we pointed out it wasn't "creamed" we got told, "no, but it has butter in it". It did taste nice but wasn't as advertised.
It was a great experience with tasty food, wonderful service and a comfy environment.
Excellent food, sophisticated environment, friendly and discrete service.
We had booked the bottomless brunch but on arrival we discovered this was only available in upstairs restaurant. It was lovely weather and great atmosphere in their courtyard so chose to eat there instead. Service was excellent and food outstanding and great choice. I would definitely return.
Staff lovely went out of their way to be very helpful
Delicious French cuisine in a cosy setting, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bond Street. Highly recommended.
Wonderful experience! Food was great, and service was superb. Would highly recommend!
Having visited twice before and enjoying both dining experiences, I chose this venue for a get together after 3 years apart from old and discerning former work colleagues. We ordered from the lunch set menu (2 courses £18.50). Calamari starters were tender yet too salty for our liking. Bavette steak was extremely tough. We complained and our concerns were well heard by the manager who was genuinely keen to put things right for us. Replacement mains were swiftly provided and coffees on the house. Sadly I probably won’t make a 4th return as the quality of the cooking at the current time is simply not up to standard for a Mayfair restaurant.
Was suggested this place by my girlfriend. I went there mainly for the Beer Battered Fish & Chips which they ran out of. I was disappointed as I heard it that it is quite good but there but I understand that these things do happen.
The pizza we had was decent but their was some clingfilm in the pizza. I guess they wrap the dough before leaving it to rise and haven't removed all of it before cooking the pizza. They made a new one for us pretty quickly.
The steak was quite salty but the Chips with Black Truffle & Parmesan were good and the portion size was sizeable.
The quality of the servers varied. Some staff were really good and some weren't so good.
Overall it's just not worth going unless you just want to have a nice drink in the courtyard with a couple of friends.
Food and drink were as fantastic as always however the service was a little slow albeit the venue was very busy. Overall great place to go for food and drink and will always keep going back!!
