Use to be a good value and good tasting pizza when it was Mayfair pizza co. Not sure what has happened. Pizza lacked taste. Service was adequate but slightly unfriendly and cumbersome. Prices seems to have been increased also. Better restaurant options available for pizza elsewhere.
A very chic atmosphere, I have been there with a collegue for a lunch break and the pizza was great with very fresh stringy mozzarella (said by an italian lady!). The waiter was smiling and hearty. I will definitely introduce all my closest colleagues to this delicious place.
Service was extremely courteous, friendly and efficient and food was excellent and amply portioned!
I used to come here often, before they changed their name (and perhaps owners). Now the pizza is really poor, and the waiters didn’t come to check on me once. This used to be my fav pizza place. Never coming again
We had a lovely evening here. Our pet was with us too and they made her feel really welcome too. The pizza was excellent. Better than what we expected. The prawn starter and the aubergine arincini were average. Really enjoyed the truffle arincini, burrata (though it would have been better if it was served with tomatoes instead of beets). The Malbec we ordered was quite good. Tiramisu was a good portion. Overall a nice experience. Not sure however if we will go back again. A good one time try place
Really good garlic bread and pizza but the pasta was a let down. The ambience of the place is great!
Lovely setting in the Mews. Hidden away from the busy Oxford St. Food was nice - tiramisu was amazing! But quite expensive for what it was.
Was lovely as the restaurant was quiet for central London. However could work on making the setting for ambient. Looks like it hasn’t been decorated in a while. Could do with more candles & some music. Waitress was also nice but hard to get her attention. Staff could have been more attentive.
Excellent as always in every aspect. Will certainly be returning.
Had a booking for 8pm. When we arrived, we were told to hurry, as they closed at 9pm. At 8.25 they turned of the light and gave us the bill and told us they would close now.
The pizzas were really good.
Late Friday night and had a table available. Tasty good pizzas and sold carafes of wine. Friendly cheerful place.
We go to this restaurant every month because the pizzas are so good. Unfortunately we had to wait too long last time we were there - well over an hour.
We were a group of 7 and were seated in a "private" area for dinner, super cozy, the waitress was adorable, and the food was delicious. I would totally recommend for a dinner with friends or for a couple. The 25% off the final bill also made a big difference. Thank you !
Lovely food and service. 25% off the bill as promo so fantastic
Service was fantastic and food was lovely. I would definitely go back again !
The environment is nice, the pasta tastes good. The Menzo pizza is not as good
A restaurant in a good location with bland food.. The pasta has the hallmarks of being prepared off site and the lasagne dish - in a tiny dish so it can be heated up easily -was very small and a bit bland. We paid nearly £30 for a main course each and one of the cheapest bottle of wine (between 3). No dessert, starters, coffees.. Service is added on already.
The plus point is the location and ambience.
Great food. Great ambience and great service. Will return!
Lovely place, but a bit on the expensive side esp the wine list. Pizzas are good, but I felt £12 for 4 not very large prawns is a bit pricey. Staff and service were great. I suppose it is just off Bond Street so it’s never going to be cheap...
Great food and a great experience
Over priced and average taste. We have been many times as we live in the neighbourhood but sadly it will be our last visit.
Good pizza and a reasonable value.
Good lunch venue - excellent food and charming staff.
Great place to go with friends for a quiet catch up. Also could be good for business meals. Great food, have dined here many times now and never been disappointed.
Excellent service with very good tasty pizzas and pasta. A charming atmosphere with well spaced tables - a very enjoyable dinner.
I've been before and was ready impressed but this time around not so much. They refused to give us goats cheese as an extra topping even though they have the ingredient, deemed it too expensive even though we said we'd pay the price. When we asked for garlic oil, they said yes but that we would be charged £2. I think it's very cheeky to be charged for a condiment.... Not the best experience I've had
We only booked the table 45 mins before the meal but they reserved us a great private section in the restaurant for our group of 9 people. We only had an hr to eat and the staff did so well to get our order and the food out really quickly. The food was lovely and it was a lovely atmosphere. What a great find!
Mews Pizza Co. has been a regular spot for me whenever my nephew and niece visit for a number of years now - so much that we’ve a set of pictures taken at the restaurant showing the children growing over the years, although the historic backdrop of a Great Dane has sadly been replaced.
At this visit the restaurant was the busiest I’ve seen (a Saturday night at 7pm) and so service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush. I ordered sparkling water and got still (hardly a disaster), but the waitress who’d taken the order spotted the error and came across to offer to replace. Good and attentive service! Food is always tasty (we stick with the pizzas), although the chips were really nothing special and personally I won’t order as a side again.
food and service were ok. very loud music though!!
Regarding the duck filled tortellini. the portion was too small. You can call it a snack, instead of a proper meal dish. Also, very expensive for just 4 small (not even medium size tortellini).
Great food, great service, great value.
A really lovely evening of good food. Special thanks to our waitress Isabel , who made our evening even lovelier with her friendly and attentive service. Will be back
Waitress was so lovely and attentive.
Pizza was delicious and great value for location. Pasta wasn't anything special and arancini could do with a dipping sauce on the side.
Love the location, cute cobbled street and then we headed over to a bar near by. Would come back
Our experience was very pleasant, with good food set in an ambient setting. Highly recommend trying out the restaurant and surrounding area.
We’ve always LOVED Mayfair Pizza, although now it has changed to Mews Pizza Co.
The pizza was amazing! We had the pepperoni pizza and the truffle pizza - both delicious!! Hands down best pizza in London!
Overall had an amazing experience as usual and can’t wait to keep coming back!!
The service was very friendly and tried to accommodate every request (we went with two little girls). However, they forgot our starter order.
It was a hot day in August and everyone was outside in the other Mews locations in the alley. Mews Wine Bar, and I think one other establishment on the ground floor with outside tables. The Pizza Company is upstairs so it was practically empty at the time we were there, which was later. This made for a nice quiet ambiance and should have led to very attentive service, which was adequate but not exceptional. The food was good and the manager came out and recommended wine which was nice. It was one of our more affordable dinner in London.
Great venue in a great location. Staff were attentive to our large party, and the food was delicious.
Look forward to going back to this hidden gem.
Great pizza! Delicious. Really friendly service a well.
The courtyard seating was packed, but we were happy to sit indoors, where it was much quieter (& cooler, which was a relief!).
The pizzas were excellent, and served straight from the oven.
Been here a couple of times now - it's a real find and I'd highly recommend it.
Stopped here for lunch on the way to British Summer Time. All good and nice surroundings. Pizzas were too big for lunch for those with a normal apetite, recommend sharing pizzas and salad and ordering more only if needed. Service was good.
