Staff where friendly and very nice
Location is good and views are nice
Food was a completely let down and wasnt any value for money
Didnt have what I wanted and considering how small the menu is it isn't great.
Will not recommend and will not be revisiting
Fancy place for affordable price 👍 even cold or rainy day can sit in a terrace and enjoy
Tried both the Japanese and Lebanese menus, everything we ordered was brilliant
Great experience at Mezemiso. The food was great and the service was good although slow at some times. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended a number of dishes. We chose the Japanese menu (following our waiters selection). The cocktails were excellent, particularly the signature cocktails. And lastly, the views of the Thames were great. Luckily for us there was a fireworks display across the river which we had a perfect view of.
Overall a great dining experience and I’d recommend when treating that special someone
Enjoyed a delicious food and drink experience. I started with the hummous and lamb starter. I am indifferent to hummous, but this was the best hummous I have ever had. It was creamy and seasoned to pefection. I paired it with a beautiful chardonnay. Secondly, I had the black miso cod with the 2013 alta maria bien nacido chardonnay that I brought from California; the minerality, slight acidity, and a bit of sweetness from the stonefruit paired perfectly. Finally I finished with the ribeye and scallop sushi rolls. Garret, the asisstant restaurant manger (and wine and spirits expert paired me with a beautiful 2012 Alpha Crucis Shiraz). After I finished my meal I went over to the bar and was served up the best service and drinks by Matthew, my new Aussie buddy. I would recommend Mezemiso to anyone who enjoys fine food with flavor and a wonderful thoughtfully creative drink selection.
We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience here with us at Mezemiso & I have passed on your kind words to our team and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.
This was our first visit and whilst the food that we had was delicious two of the dishes we ordered were not available and nor was the dessert trolley. Whilst there were a number of cold vegetarian starters there was minimal choice of vegetarian mains and the one chosen was not available. On asking whether the kitchen could do an alternative the answer was no yet the restaurant was not busy.
Beautifully presented food and patient staff.
We ate on the terrace; fantastic view on a fabulously sunny day. As far as I could tell we were the only people in the restaurant. Staff were very nice. Food was good, but not great.
Enjoyed our evening. Great service and food was very enjoyable. Unusual to mix Lebanese and Sushi but it worked. Wonderful views of the Embankment.
Amazing food and best way to feel on top of the world! Recommended going at night!!
Thank you so much for your kind comments, we look forward to welcoming you back to Mezemiso soon.
Delicious food, excellent service and a fantastic view.
Food was amazing! Waiter was a bit creepy but friendly
Food and service was great! Also had a good view!
Service is poor - waitress did not know the menu well and gave bad recommendations
Food is well below average - sushi was very fat, not real beef tataki with too much onion, calmar not fresh...
Price - extremely expensive - 180£ for 3 people - not worth it at all
The space at the top of the Ramada hotel was beautifully lit with a pretty view across the river. The meal itself was odd : basically two menus — one Lebanese and one Japanese. For some reason, I thought it would be a fusion of the two cuisines, so I was very curious to see how the chef would accomplish that. I was thus a bit disappointed that it was really two distinct menus. We were a table of 4, with two of us ordering the Japanese meal and two ordering the Lebanese. We began the meal with a bowl of delicious hummus— delicately flavored with warm fresh pita. My friend and I were the Japanese side of the table, and our miso cod was the highlight . The two maki rolls were unremarkable. Our partners felt the Lebanese dishes they ordered were good but not remarkable.
Excellent and slightly different food. Great setting with nice views. Excessive mark up on wine but otherwise excellent.
As good as last time even though the cocktails were the same for my friend's to enjoy........I went off menu with a bespoke white negroni!!
Again, this place is too quiet for something do good; the five of us had it practically to ourselves until we left nearer closing time!
The terrace is great as sun sets and later plus for smoking a cigar ;p
Mother’s Day dinner- lovely restaurant, nice staff, nice ambience and the location was great with a nice view. A little sad as I heard so much about the lobster net that was unfortunately unavailable on my visit, however my overall experience was amazing!
I was dubious because the place is so new and off-the-beaten-track but it's completely worth it for the excellent bar & creative, tasty cocktails made by Erion & his team..........I'm looking forward to the new cocktail menu, chance to smoke Havana cigars on the glorious terrace overlooking The Thames and more excellent food e.g. octopus stew, lobster parcels or eel salad!
4pm Saturday it felt like we were the only customers - ALL attention was on us - but it steadily got busier. Being invited to sit at the bar for cocktails was a bonus because you could see how much work goes into them and so appreciate them even more!
My only gripe with the short cocktails was the small ice cubes dilute them too fast BUT they are sourcing ice elsewhere to fix this. I go to ALOT of bars and have never seen the CO2 cylinder for rapidly chilling glassware before!!
I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The service and attention from all staff was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious and the cocktails unbelievable. The view and the beautifully designed interior helps to create an amazing ambience. We had an amazing experience!
Really excellent, great Maitre D ( thank you Gareth) and wonderful evening.
The service from Maria was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and personable
Restaurant has stunning views and is very well designed.
Great mix of Lebanese and Japanese cuisine.
It would be great if there were more sharing menus available and increased choice for vegetarians.
It was also a shame when we ordered main food and was unable to finish it we could not pack it to take home. Instead it would end up being wasted and thrown away.
Wine list also seem very expensive.
Overall enjoyed it because it was a little different than the norm with a great setting and excellent service. Will certainly return.
